The current contest theme can be found in the most recent "Enter the Runway #..." thread, which is found in Customization & NC Mall Chat>The Runway. * To enter the contest and/or vote, you must be registered to The Daily Neopets Forum AND you must validate your account. * Otherwise, you won't be able to post or send Private Messages. If you don't have an account, click here and follow the steps. It's quick and easy! HOW TO ENTER: Create your entry at Dress to Impress (you can also use the HTML5 beta version of Dress to Impress). You are free to choose ANY pet and ANY items from the database, unless otherwise stated. (You may also choose to enter your own pets' outfit, if that's what you prefer, just make sure the entry can be viewed in Dress To Impress, and not just on your own user profile on Neopets.) Fill in the entry form below and send it to Musical_Shoyru via Private Message*. Make sure you are logged in/registered to The Daily Neopets Forum. If the image DTI provides isn't showing all the items properly (which happens quite frequently, like with Dyeworks items showing up the wrong colour, moving items not showing up in focus (or at all), and things like mist looking weird), you can send a screenshot instead. Here's a guide on how to do so. ENTRY FORM: (PLEASE TITLE YOUR MESSAGE AS "THE RUNWAY #xxx", with the current round's number in the place of the x's") Entry Name or Title: Outfit Link: Winning Character Story (optional, will only be revealed/shown when your entries places in the top three.): TO GET YOU OUTFIT LINK; You'll go to the Dress to Impress website & login or create and account. After logging in you will be taken back to the main screen of Dress to Impress. You can either choose a color and pet species or type in your pets name to start creating you outfit. Press the orange Plan my outfit! button next to where you entered your pet's name if using your own pet or press Go if starting from scratch (picking a pet color & species). From here you'll get creative! Search for items using the search all items.... search bar in the top right corner. You can try things on, take them off, see their animation and all that good stuff. Once you're done creating your entry you name it. Hover your mouse over where it says Untitled Outfit and click. Then type in your entries name. After you've named your entry you'll hit save and your outfit link will show up in the URL Bar. RULES: No voting for yourself! Do not try to manipulate the votes in any way, such as creating multiple accounts to vote for your entry. We can tell. Don't re-enter an entry you've already won a trophy with in a previous round. (If you've entered that particular entry before without winning anything, you're free to enter it again, provided it fits the theme, of course.) Edits to your existing entry can only be made during the submission dates. Only use DTI or your own pets' outfit as your submission. No use of image editing programs. Do not use the trophy images unless you have permission from deboratibi, Nielo, Musical_Shoyru or the Customization Team. Banner images are available for anyone to use. We will be using NST times just to make it easier for everyone with different time zones. The contest will run once a month in two parts. Two weeks for submissions & entries (1st part) and two weeks for voting (2nd part). The Sunday immediately following the last day of the voting week will start the new round & announce the previous rounds winners. Parts will start on Sunday's for both Submission & Voting weeks. This means they will start on a Sunday and end on the second Saturday at 11:59pm NST. For example if the contest starts it's submission week on 1/14/2023 you would have until 1/27/2023 at 11:59p NST to submit your entry. Then the voting would open on 1/28/2023 and go until 2/10/2023 at 11:59p NST. Winner's would then be announced on 2/11/2023 and a new theme and round would start. SUBMISSIONS: Entries are to be submitted to Musical_Shoyru in a Private Message (PM). Entry must fit the chosen theme. If not, you will be asked to change your entry. Unconverted pets may be entered! Only one pet per entry (per person) unless stated otherwise. If you would like to edit your submission, you can add it to the message you already sent, or send a new message.* VOTING: Separate voting threads will be created for each round. Thread will be titled, "The Runway Votes #..." All submissions will be previewed and a poll will be created. Votes may only be cast in the allotted time. You can vote for as multiple entries, except your own. Voting for yourself will result in disqualification. Yesterday was my Grandpa's 79th birthday. I completely forgot to get a GOOD picture in all of the hubbub. It was a cheesecake filled spice cake with cream cheese frosting and cinnamon crumb topping. Maybe next time I bake I'll remember a GOOD picture smh lol

As you may have noticed, an increased number of Neopians have been losing access to their accounts recently. This is a thread that you can post on now, or at any time in the future, if you're having issues with accessing your account and want to know what to do or how other users successfully regained access to accounts that they were locked out of as well as having frozen accounts restored. This way, you can come to this post and not have to hunt for other threads on the subject and all the information/best practices will be in one location for you. From now on, please post here instead of starting a new topic. Also note, this is a thread for the discussion of issues regarding account access, and isn't meant to be a general chat board while you wait, so please stay on topic. Updates regarding progress are fine, but please stay within the scope of the topic of account access. As a rule of thumb here are some of the recommendations that most users seem to make: 1. Use an existing side account or create a new side account to submit a ticket to TNT and if you cannot get the help site to load then you need to email them directly at [email protected] but only send one. Make sure you are polite and positive and be sure to provide as much information about your account as possible to prove that you are the owner. 2. Update your ticket daily by using the provide more information area. 3. Post on the Ticket Response Waiting Board which can be found in the Help section of the Neoboards. Just follow what everyone else there is doing. 4. Post on their Facebook page with your ticket number and politely ask that someone look into it. 5. In your correspondence with TNT be sure to remain polite and positive as these tickets tend to get looked at sooner then ones filled with anger and negativity. DO NOT SUBMIT MORE THAN ONE TICKET! Just felt like sharing!!!

After many weeks of spending several lab ray cookies, color, gender and species changes I finally have a (male) Ice Hissi! Context: I got Kaskafil (his name) on Hissi day and wanted to get him ice since he'd look cool and like the Snowager, which is my favorite neopian monster. But since I didn't have the money for a potion to do that I tried my luck with the lab ray. When he (or she at the time) became a species that couldn't become ice I used a Starry Grarrl Potion to raise the ice-zapping chance. And finally after quite a (long) while my pet turned ice and I used a premium perk to change him into a Hissi. I am VERY happy that my patience and effort has paid off in the end. Just wanted to share this with you all. Now to decide what to paint my Chomby...

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of communication, per my last post the Runway had to be put on hold due to a lot of life circumstances that I was dealing with, you can view that post here. Believe the last time I was able to post an update was back in November. Due to the instability of our situation I was not sure when would be a good time to start the contest back up again as I didn't want to have to start it and then stop it again should we not have a stable internet connection for me to be able to continue to run it. We were able to get put up in a hotel until the end of January (but during the whole process it was unknown just how long we'd be there.) with some help, luckily around the end of our stay and beginning of Feb we purchased a home on a land contract. We are currently there and will be staying here indefinitely. It's unfortunate that the home needs a lot of repairs (such as HVAC can't be ran due to asbestos, the hot water heater is rusted and in bad condition which meant it had to be removed and the kitchen is gutted), however we got a great deal on it, it's a work in progress, but it's shelter. I don't believe I mentioned this before because we did not know when I first posted about the hold of the contest back in September, but we are also expecting our first child this May. So there may be a period of time during that month where the contest will not be ran, but will start back up again after I've recovered from that adjusted to that new part of our life haha It's been a very hard few months for us and we're currently just trying to re-build, we had to give up a lot of our possessions when we lost our home but are slowly getting things back, like furniture and appliances, so we're getting there VERY slowly, but surely! I appreciate the patience from everyone! I will officially be starting it back up come the 16th of this month and it will be going sometime up until I've had our baby in May which will bring another pause, but shorter this time! Hope everyone is doing well! Excited to have it going again!

A lot of already-existing problems with our country are getting worse and worse right now, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to move here. ><; The news about Roe VS Wade being overturned is incredibly disheartening for many reasons, one of which is the fact that the decision was made by only a handful of people, all of whom have perjured themselves by overturning Roe VS Wade. They had sworn at their confirmation hearings that they wouldn't and... well... did. They lied under oath. Not only that, but all of the things Aquamentis said in his reply are completely false, and recycled talking points from the last twenty years. Trust me, I heard them plenty growing up in an anti-choice household and until I got older and started hearing from the other side, I used to believe they were true. Also the coy language around "debating" is part of the typical toolkit that anti-choice parents/pastors/teachers strictly teach, because to them, the concept of whether or not a person should have autonomy over their choice to reproduce is a "debate", and not a form of state-sanctioned violence against people with uteruses. (Especially cis-gendered anti-choice men. It's never "real" to them, it's a chesspiece.)

As a non-American I'm quite frankly shocked that less than a dozen people are allowed to make decisions like these, decisions that will affect the lives of millions of people. This is a decision that will result in pregnant people not receiving proper health care, children resented by parents who didn't want them, pregnant people dying in childbirth because of health complications, people forced to seek out unsafe methods of abortion, birth control becoming increasingly difficult if not outright impossible to acquire, impoverished families being unable to properly care for their children, etc. etc. This also sets a major precedent for American citizens' rights. If something like the right to abortion can be so easily overturned, what about other rights, such as gay marriage? Interracial marriage? The right to abortion should be a universal human right, and it's outrageous that the Supreme Court can decide to violate the rights of millions of Americans like this.

I've never gotten a wish to come true before!

So, I've been thinking about buying Premium for a while. I like the idea of an extra pet spot, it will be used for a draik. And lockdown means I have some spare cash floating around. I've also had a Jetsam on my hands that I quite liked the name of, but Jetsam's aren't really my thing. I then learned that you get a species change with Premium. More importantly, most importantly, if your pet is in a colour that your new species doesn't have, you get to change it to any colour you want!!! So. For 180,000np I bought a water Kau morphing potion. My Jetsam very briefly turned into a water cow. He was rather affronted at this. But then, then, I bought Premium for a month. I will likely upgrade it to a four month plan later, but for the moment a month was all I needed. And I clicked 'species change'. And I clicked 'Poogle'. And I got told that water doesn't exist for Poogle so would I like to change my colour to one that can be used for this species. And I said yes please, thank you, I would like that very much. I think... I think... I'll have THIS ONE! Once I have the Slorg avatar I will then put him with a plushie petpet and he will have gone from my most bemoaned pet to my favourite pet in the whole darn universe! He is a tiny bit confused from all the shape shifting, but he'll get over it! Edit: Now customised to my happiness. I want the Dapper Poogle Hat, but I think I'll wait for the inflation to go down on that particular item first!

I've been trying to attach the pebble petpetpet from the advent calendar for so long. I decided it looked best with BlobWithFace the Blobikins rather than Uh-Oh the Christmas Rock, but the refreshing was getting to me. I was inspired by seeing someone with theirs in their shop, and got it out of storage. I played another game while refreshing, and noticed eventually that it was gone from my inventory. And here it is firmly attached! The neopet in question is named after a stuffed animal from the games with my siblings as a child. It's name was Thingy, and when i would draw it I gave it glasses. It would be nice to name the pebble.

Well, I finally gave into temptation and did a few Valentines customs: But with a slightly creepy twist for most of them! I opened a handful of the retired caps, got absolute tat and refuse to open any more, so I'm just going to have to make do with what's already in my closet. Although I did go for the gothic gram in the Mall currently...
