Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of communication, per my last post the Runway had to be put on hold due to a lot of life circumstances that I was dealing with, you can view that post here. Believe the last time I was able to post an update was back in November. Due to the instability of our situation I was not sure when would be a good time to start the contest back up again as I didn't want to have to start it and then stop it again should we not have a stable internet connection for me to be able to continue to run it. We were able to get put up in a hotel until the end of January (but during the whole process it was unknown just how long we'd be there.) with some help, luckily around the end of our stay and beginning of Feb we purchased a home on a land contract. We are currently there and will be staying here indefinitely. It's unfortunate that the home needs a lot of repairs (such as HVAC can't be ran due to asbestos, the hot water heater is rusted and in bad condition which meant it had to be removed and the kitchen is gutted), however we got a great deal on it, it's a work in progress, but it's shelter. I don't believe I mentioned this before because we did not know when I first posted about the hold of the contest back in September, but we are also expecting our first child this May. So there may be a period of time during that month where the contest will not be ran, but will start back up again after I've recovered from that adjusted to that new part of our life haha It's been a very hard few months for us and we're currently just trying to re-build, we had to give up a lot of our possessions when we lost our home but are slowly getting things back, like furniture and appliances, so we're getting there VERY slowly, but surely! I appreciate the patience from everyone! I will officially be starting it back up come the 16th of this month and it will be going sometime up until I've had our baby in May which will bring another pause, but shorter this time! Hope everyone is doing well! Excited to have it going again!

I can't see this has been addressed elsewhere, but if I've missed it apologies. For those who may be confused, there is currently a glitch in the RNG for some dailies; daily quest prizes and fishing are two that I know of. Battledome definitely isn't affected and my weekly prize changed even if my daily prizes are stuck. Somehow TNT have miscoded something with the Festival of Neggs and have got some of the dailies fixed on set prizes which is why you may be seeing the same items come up day after day after day. The next Neopet, the Varwolf, has finally been revealed. Premium users will be first to get access near the end of the month by using their Premium Species Change perk.

TNT has put out the first teaser of the rumoured new Neopet species, the Varwolf, today. While there is no current release date, Premium users will get exclusive access via the Premium Pet Species Change perk. The rest of Neopians will have to sit tight as the universal release of the Varwolf will happen during a site event in the future.

I think the real point is rather users knew or not or utilized the feature (Yes it's a feature and I refuse to acknowledge that is was an "exploit) TNT made some horrible decisions during this process; Chose to remove it after a year and a half of it being there. Remove the skip quest button and claim it had nothing to do with said feature even though it CLEARY DID (who would skip a quest if going for an item was your only choice? Yeah, exactly.) Remove it abruptly with no announcement or explanation as to WHY this was the case. Lie to multiple users, THOUSANDS, in tickets stating it was a "site bug" and being worked on and would be fixed. Then turn around and essentially call the entire community cheaters by using an "exploit". I've seen many users give their opinion on this topic but I think my favorite so far and honestly the most accurate about how I feel is that so many of us have stuck around with Neopets through the years, we stayed through a broken/laggy site, the NFT fiasco, other horribly mismanaged decisions, paying and supporting a site we love in hopes that it would stay around because we cared about it. The least they could do is respect us. So many of us have put hundreds to thousands of dollars into this site through premium & purchase of NC to keep it alive and support it and they want to turn around and call us exploiters and lie straight to our faces? Nuh uh. I've always been pretty big on support for TNT and think that some people can be too hard. So many people complained about the items in the Quest Log deflating their mass hoarded collection of items that they purposefully inflated to make a profit. Then you got people complaining about premium exclusive prizes in events or that event prizes are too OP and "you poooors are getting items you were never meant to have.". I found that all ridiculous. What TNT WAS doing was trying to fight the snipers/inflators and make some stamps, items or collectibles more obtainable and it was working! It was actually helping the inflation. It still took some work, logging in everyday, sometimes even having to buy the rest of the Weekly Streak prize items in the pool to get everything you wanted. I was still spending 2m+ on stamps here and there toward the end of the rotation, so people were still making a profit, but I wasn't sinking 200m per stamp. However, lying and straight up insulting the community is NEVER okay. Especially when so many of us loyal players have been around despite people leaving and other people's backlash.

Check them out! I started focusing on this goal when at 200 void points when I got the Triclopstar. Won the Draphly in Coincidence and tried to trade it for almost every part. Once the customs were complete I made the Peophin (on Peophin day) and happened to also have to Valentines Brush, So that custom is brand new and needs work. I had the pink petpet paint brush too which I used on the Delfin, so I am committed to my 7th pet haha (I thought the 6th would be the last.) I collected my pieces before I went to the hub page this morning, and had to refresh a couple times before they registered for today. PROBABLY that means they'll still register, but might want to go to the hub first to be safe instead of risking it one day.

Ok, so Mouseykins is SPOT ON with changing your healer, Feel Better Soup has apparently gone up in price slightly since the plot began. But it's still around 600k on the Super wiz, a STEAL considering what I paid like a decade ago when I traded for my Bag of Healing Dust. x_x. They heal the same amount, 50% of your max HP, but Feel Better Soup also blocks 100% of Air icons on the turn that it's used. Quite useful if you're dealing with an air-wielding opponent on the turn you need to heal. H4000 helmet might come in handy since TNT did say that there would be opponents during the plot that would give even the Veteran battlers a hard time. Sure you're above level 400 so you've probably got both Lens Flare and Warlock's Rage, giving you 2 free turns to attack. But you might need a 3rd free turn during the plot, so if you don't want to keep the H4000 helmet equipped for now, I wouldn't sell it just yet either. You CAN, but with TNT, it's best to err on the side of caution. You definitely don't need your Scarab Ring. Not with your Strength and Defense boosts maxed out. Unless you league-battle, which is doubtful since you said you don't 2p battle. lol So, you can definitely get rid of that. Anyway, and then you've got 2 Void Blades, which are quite decent at 16 icons each. Assuming you keep them and add in Feel Better Soup, and keep the H4000 Helmet in the line-up, for now. That leaves you 4 slots you can fill. So, there are several worthwhile weapons in The Void Within Prize Shop. I posted a list of them in another thread, so I'll just copy them here for you and add some suggestions for other items you might find useful. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In The Void Within Prize Shop, the best ones to look at are Wand of the Dark Faerie, Grapes of Wrath, Thunder Sticks, Thyoras Tear, and Extra Loud Techo Fanatic Megaphone Wand of the Dark Faerie can be gotten from Jhudora's quests, the 50th quest. It can do 20-29 icons of damage, reflects 75% light, no other defense, and heals 25% of your HP when it's below 25% of Max. Grapes of Wrath is a Smuggler's Cove item, 24 icons, multiuse. 1 icon less than Varia is the Bomb. Thunder Sticks, was from a couple AC's ago. 16 icon attack, defends 100% physical and freezes 100% once per battle. Thyoras Tear. r99 and still restocks at Defence Magic. Once per battle it will negate ALL damage done on the turn it is used. Like Downsize! but double the power. lol Extra Loud Techo Fanatic Megaphone, from last year's AC. Like Roxtons Trusty Bowie Knife, it has a 15 icon attack and Blocks 75% of an element, only this one blocks 75% AIR. When this is used with Roxton's Knife, which blocks 75% of Earth, you can severely reduce the power of a Super Attack Pea to 25% of it's max power. Provided your opponent has and uses a SuAP on the turn you use these 2 weapons together of course. The other weapons are less than you'd want for your set. Void Blade, you've got 2 already, and Gemmed Sword of Light, despite their vast price difference, both do 16 icons. lol The Grey weapons are even weaker. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I did alter some of the text slightly to be more applicable to your situation. Of the items I mentioned when talking about the prize shop prizes. Varia is the Bomb, was from the Fragments mini-plot from last year, I think it was? It does 25 icons, is once per battle, but doesn't actually count as a Bomb-type weapon. I have one equipped while still being able to have my Ghostkerbomb equipped. lol It's pseudo useful, but once per battle makes it better for taking down opponents in the first round. Downsize! Another Once Per Battle item. This one blocks 50% damage on the turn it is used once per battle, Quite useful against stronger opponents when you are mostly an offensive battler and need to defend. When I was a less experienced battler, I would use it during the same turn as my healing item to preserve as much of my HP that round as I could. And they are cheap. About 3,000-4,000np at Defence Magic or in Player Shops. Rarely goes higher. I think the highest I've ever seen it was around 6k in player shops. Roxtons Trusty Bowie Knife You might already have this in your SDB, if you didn't sell it. Like Feel Better Soup, this was a freebie from an Advent Calendar. It has a 15 icon attack, and blocks a solid 75% of incoming Earth icons. As I stated above for the Megaphone, combining this with the Megaphone will drastically reduce the power of the Super Attack Pea, but, Roxtons Trusty Bowie Knife on it's own, will reduce the power of ANY of the Pea Family weapons by quite a bit. Considering that the Seasonal Attack Pea is mostly Earth too, and the Attack Pea is ALL Earth. Yeah, this is one decent weapon to consider. I hope that helps, if you have any further questions, feel free to ask. I try to check the forum a couple times a day. Oh yeah, IF TNT Fixes Stealing, and your pet's intelligence is, I forget the exact number required, but let's say above 100. It's actually much less so if you're over 100 then you're good since your Movement/agility is above 200. I would consider a Heavy Robe of Thievery as a possible buy. They used to be buyable, but someone recently told me they were being sold for 3mil now. So, if you have the budget for it. They have minimal defense, but they will let you steal 1 random item from your opponent once per battle. If TNT fixes stealing you, WILL, steal something. During the Obelisk War, it was like a daydream when my attempt to steal from Envy yielded his Prismatic Mirror. I'd gone up against that weapon in a number of prior wars, but it's not available to Neopians. it reflects 81%-100% of ALL Elements, except physical of course. Very fun to use! Allowed me to stay alive a few extra turns against Envy in those battles. My peophin was still pretty "weak" back then, only just barely into the 1 red codestone training zone during that war. Anyway, if I can be of any more help just let me know. Happy battling!

Currently I don't have any plans in mind aside from just using her as a daily quest customising monstrosity, so not like it's TOO big of a problem, and now that I know my time, I CAN GO ANY TIME I WANT! WOO HOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

GOOD NEWS! We have an article to help with that! https://thedailyneopets.com/battledome/faerie-abilities Those abilities highlights with Yellow are the recommended abilities. For Level 10 our guide doesn't have a highlighted ability, probably because it's up to you, they're all pretty equivalent to each other. I have the 'meh' ability for level 10 because I tend to focus on defense. Otherwise, I would recommend following the Yellow-highlighted abilities as laid out in the guide. But feel free to diverge if you feel like it.

Even if I had the will to grind for several hours a day, I don't have the time. Work takes about 12 hours of my day, sleep takes another 6.5 hours. About an hour a day to take care of my friend's pets while she is on holiday and then 3 times a week my training takes about 4 hours including commute. So I have half an hour left which I usually use on my dailies/The Void Within. On days that I don't have training I also have to study for a course from work. Still going to do my very best though! It does help me that they showed the prize shop, so I know how many points to get to be able to get the items that I want. That's a pretty good incentive for me.

There is an official timer on the Act II Volunteer Section of the plot that states it will begin on Monday, last day of Act one will then be Sunday. However TNT has confirmed that ALL Fearless Deeds will be available to everyone throughout the entirety of the plot. It just looks like only the VERY first deed, that required you to join during the first week is an exception to this rule. Sunpotato answered this in editorial 1012 here, 13th question down.

My pet is really strong. So far I'm just 1 hit KOing.

My stats are at half (lower) than yours for the most part and I’m one hit KO’ing them as well. But it’s kind of nice in a way, with everything else we have to do and AC cup coming up it is super nice to blow through the battles.

Day "two"(?) is still locked so my guess is it will be at least a day and a half to collect the void essence. One of the achievements is also to collect 50 void essence so we might even have more than one day in between locations. There's also a timer on 7 days (for weekly bonus rewards?) and 5 visible locks (but there are arrows, pointing to more to come).

It's a funny idea and really creative and I'm glad it exists but I do not personally want to look at one ever again.

There's an update from TNT and they have pushed this update back until July 1st. Moving forward the quest log will rotate prizes on a 2 month schedule. It's nice they listened to our feedback.
