It's fine! So I only need to look at the number of icons, and don't need to worry about defence much since I only do the 1 player BD? Edit: Also, though I'd miss some other prizes, would it be worth it at all to get a second Illusen's staff for a weapon, or just overkill when I could likely find something better? It didn't seem to do too much more damage than the other ones I've got did.

There was a huge issue going on with them and TNT went through and pretty much awarded everyone the weekly item from last week straight to your inventory. I don't know if the Weekly item not changing is a glitch, but I would assume so cause I STILL have the Space Faerie Doll as my weekly even though TNT gave it to me last night and my days reset.

If anyone here still needs a Complete Treasure map, I have plenty of full sets of the Forgotten Shore Map (about 30 full sets). Willing to trade you 1 full set for a random omelette or so. (If I've seen you around on the forum any random item will do, if you're new on the forums I would like an item of at least 100NP worth). Just sent me a PM if you need it.

Hi Gillytook, sorry I didn't se your post until just now. To answer your question, nope! In the original battledome pets had some weaknesses and resistances to certain types of icons though. Like Peophins, for example, if I recall correctly had a 15% weakness to fire icons. Kaus, on the other hand, had a BUNCH of icon types they were resistant to. I forget what Kaus were weak against, maybe nothing. Peophins had some water and earth resistance too, but I don't recall by how much. The OLD in-depth battlepedia, what later merged with JN to form their battle dept, I believe used to have a page about that. But that was when they were their own battlepedia only site, separate from JN. The only effect icon types have in battle now, are what icons can get past which pieces of equipment that can defend damage. Against all pets now, without defending, a 10 icon weapon like Scroll of Scholar, will do the same damage as a 10 icon Ramtors Spellbook, even though they have different icon sets, when wielded by the same pet. It's a confusing system to get used to. It made no sense to me when I first started, and I had quite a lot of experience playing different video games with different setups for equipment and stats before I started playing Neopets. i had never before, or since, come across such a ... unique battle system. Yes, I'll go with unique.

Oof! I did the same thing on release day and it wasn't worth it either. In case anyone hasn't completed this step of the Tutorial Quests yet you don't need to buy a new map. You can visit the Map hub and select one you've already completed and it will count.

I love changing my hair colour to suit the challenges I'm going through. I have medium dark brown hair and am no stranger to bleaching my hair and going platinum blonde. A couple of years ago during the pandemic, I bleached my hair and colored it purple with blue underneath and blue highlights. I wanted to show my fun colourful side. Last year in January I coloured my hair the blackest shade I could. I did this to show the darkness I feel on the inside. It was a great way for me to work through my struggles and start to heal. It's still a process, but this change helped. This may not be your general form of self-care, but I enjoy gaming with many friends online from across the globe. Chatting together and working as a team helps me to escape all the drama I have going on and gives me some socialization. If I'm unable to do this, I start to go to the dark place. It's not so much missing the game but missing the comradery. My ultimate favourite form of self-care is a long hot shower!

Hi all, Pet lends/chains are being suspended until further notice. With all of the changes that have come about in the last little while with pet slots, transfer limits, and site access/security, we'll be doing some updating to our pet lending process and procedures. Anyone who has a current request in will need to resubmit once pet lending resumes. Item lends will be continuing as per usual.

I spent over 900,000 np on Purplum Tonic for my gallery because JellyNeo said it was food on its item Database. It is actually a gift and not edible despite the description suggesting it is a drink. I decided to put it in my food themed gallery anyways, but I'm displeased. I sent them an error notice. Ah well.
