So, I've been cleaning up my neopets to-do list and kind of taking stock of what, exactly I've managed to get done this year, and I'm curious to see what everyone else has achieved. New additions to your pet families? New paint jobs? Trophies or avatars? And more importantly, what are you goals for next year? I created and painted quite a few pets this year, but by far the achievement I'm most proud of isn't a pet, it's my multi-pet portfolio. I started dabbling in learning some basic html and css last year, and while I didn't stick with it, I learned enough to manage to adapt a template to my needs. Not much compared to some of the lovely petpages I've seen, but it's suited to my tastes, so I'm still proud of it! It's really nice to see all my pets in one place, and start fleshing out their characters. Their characters are, after all, what made me stick around after the nostalgia rush wore off. As for next year, I want to continue that and hopefully get all my pet's biographies up... and hopefully a few more of them painted, of course! *pokes at the lab ray* So, what about everyone else?

For reaching 2 million neopoints I guess? (Even though i blew threw them lol) And getting almost all of my pets color exactly how I wanted! Goal might be just to get a few more cool items, and Avatars, all I really want is for fun stuff! ^^

I swapped my zafara from a side acc to be my zap pet but now i kinda dont wanna change her again, it looks so cool and for art gallery, i got in last year a few times (some days have less competition, like borovan day lol) but just havent had motivation lately even if i dont get in it's fun though to draw some neopets fanart for a change

Sounds like l'il Ray sulking to me! Maybe they feel you should have a proper mourning period for the pet they've just obliterated? You're clearly not showing proper appreciation for their skills by getting another one straight away. xD The ray is fired at Burfin... ... and she gains 4 maximum hit points!!!! Hmm, that's actual coded gender though, isn't it. I wonder if what they're meaning for your pets is basically the same as what's available for us, a dropdown option for displayed gender, but it won't alter the pet in any way. So an Elderlyboy pet, could have female or whatever other options pets get, on their pet page. Stuff like that. I read a thing on Reddit a couple of days ago... some guy who's a coder saying changing pet names is pretty much impossible. Oh gosh, can I even vaguely remember what he said... x'D Something like... pet ID stuff and everything that's tied into that goes by the pet's name, rather than a unique number and names being a supplementary thing, and when site's do that it's ... I need to try and find this again, I wonder what on earth it was I was looking for to find it in the first place! Nah, I can't find it, but basically to be able to change names the entire backend of the site's code would have to be re-written. EEK! Ah, this I remember. This guy basically saying Neo's code is skilled amateur level, that's the term he used, and Nickleodeon and Viacom just added to it rather than bringing the original stuff up to standard. So basically Neopets' bones are still Adam's two decades old student coding.

I like both the outfit and the colour - I agree with @aleu1986 that the milky white eyes make it stand out a bit from the crowd, although yes, some wisps of pink floating away from it would look pretty awesome. It's like the friendly ghost... just a friendly wraith instead! And yes, that hat is wonderful! I wish it wasn't species specific!! I really like the staff as well, there's a lot of fine detail on it!

Ooh, Wraith! I really like the creepy, milky white eyes, it makes the Wocky look all the more unnatural - I do agree that something should have been done about the mouth, but other than that, it looks great in my opinion. I kind of miss the Wraith pets with mist around them, such as the Gelert, that really adds to the spooky effect. The outfit is so cute, I love to see different variations on the magic theme of witches and wizards, and I think this outfit can work with both male and female pets. I love the stripy trousers, they remind me of the NeoQuest Wizard ones. The colours and shading are so nicely done, and the outfit seems winter-inspired with the holly (I think?) Nice!

The best part of this update is that hat, not gonna lie. That hat looks wonderful.

I am fortunate enough to have all of my dreamies (sans UCs). I wish that they would do a dreamie petpet version. In that case I think I'd go for a Xampher or a Candychan!
