The story line for my novel is drawing to a close! I'm on Chapter 18. Chapters 1-2 are on my mom's computer and Chapter 3 is going to be re-done, but I'm very happy.

My mom said that when my brother and I are living on our own she will get us each a pet as a housewarming gift!
 
I plan on getting an Akita. Since they are a big dog I am wondering if I should get my friend as a puppy. I am also moving out of state and being a single woman I was wondering if a male dog would be better than a female.
 
I need a dog who can be a guard dog without attacking people. I don't want him to end up being a danger to people.
 
Has anyone ever had a larger dog like an Akita? I'm a huge cat person, but I think dogs especially male dogs would be more possessive and protective of the owner. I'm so happy :D

Love is love. Period. Regardless of what gender or race you are. So yes, gay marriage should be allowed. I feel like a lot of people in my life don't think it should be(I know my grandparents don't think so)but I am pro-gay rights. Opinions are opinions, ya know.
 
However, forcing what you believe onto people is terrible. I've had many things forced onto me and know what it's like.

Chemmikkale, looks like you've gotten a LOT of sound advice, glad to hear the writing is going so quickly for you too! LOL I think in the last few weeks I've added 1, maybe 2 sentences to my story, if that! LOL I think it's cool when the story just flows right to a person. So keep it up and good luck on chapters 6 and 7! :D
