I don't know if that's true or not. In my case, it's gotten harder simply because I just don't play as much as I used to, so I'm kinda rusty. But who knows, maybe they did make it more difficult.

Items for my gallery, but since the items I still need are pretty much impossible to find, I don't think I'll be spending my nps anytime soon.

Let's hope they release a few retired stamps every now and then so that some people can actually get one of these.

On a different note, I actually like the idea of releasing a bunch of new avatars all at the same time. I just wish they weren't stamp avatars

I'll try to get to Rank 1 for the new avatar, but that's it. One win so far, wohoo!  

I really suck at yooyuball. Back in 2010 I could easily score 12-13 points per game, but now I can hardly get past 8 and the other team usually scores 2-3 times. Not that I care as long as I win the match

As for my pets... back in the day I never really gave them a personality. I thought of them as innocent and cute and that was it, but that's boring, right? So eventually I changed my mind

This is my first ixi. He's painted royalboy, so I imagine he's kind of a brat with a superiority complex. He has too few redeeming qualities and no friends other than his brother 'cause he often acts like a jerk, but I love him anyway

My faerie ixi is more approachable than his brother, and has an insatiable sense of wonder, always trying to learn more about the world around him. He gets lost in thought too easily, and sometimes his eagerness to learn new things can blind his judgement (if he were a scientist, he would've died a looong time ago during a careless experiment ).

This is my lab pet. I feel nothing for him, so I just keep him locked away in the basement and only take him out when I need to use him in the battledome. All those years of zapping and training have made him really strong, but he's terrified of his owner and would never harm a hair on his head. However, one day all his fears will turn into hatred and he'll kill me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

Yeah, I have a dark sense of humor

I also have a hissi now, but I haven't decided on his personality yet.

I wouldn't go as far as to say it causes me pain. If anything it pains to think about all the effort some people put into getting to All-Star

But yeah, I do believe the AC is a bad event. There hasn't been any major change in the last 8 years, and for an annual event to remain engaging, you need to spice things up every once in a while, add something new to the mix. But to do that you need resources, i.e. something that JS lacks.

I secretly wish they'd get rid of this event altogether, but (for whatever reason) tons of people love the AC and thus it increases the website's traffic, so it's a necessary evil 

I like the top trophy. I believe it's the first animated trophy ever, too.

As for the prizes, I really like the mist and the design of that mushroom. Other than that, the prizes are underwhelming, but hey, the plot itself was underwhelming from beginning to end, so I guess it's no wonder things turned out like this

The shields themselves are gorgeous. It just bothers me how they used the wrong font for the years. Also, some of the characters/items they picked to go along with the shields are too small, especially that Hubrid Nox plushie. They could've resized it better.

If you're just aiming for the avatar, you should be fine. If you want to go farther:

Jhudora starts asking for r99 items at quest #28, and Illusen at #33, so stop before you get those quests. I'd advise to have at least 20 million nps before aiming for quest #50 with either of them (most people end up spending only 10-12m, but it's better to be careful). Also, once they start asking for more expensive items that only appear on the trading post, you have to go to the Trading/Auctions board and ask for help. There are many r99 collectors who will either sell you their items or ask you to replace them once you complete your quest.

Lastly, always keep in mind that Jhudora and Illusen may ask your for a ridiculously expensive r99 item that won't be worth paying for, so you'll just have to fail and start all over.

I had two successful runs with Jhudora and I made a list will all the r99 items she asked for. Here it is, in case you're interested :)

This was a good Daily Dare... by JS standards, that is. We got a couple of nice wearables (I especially love the AAA glasses) and I'm just glad the scores to beat were actually challenging this year.

Not sure how I feel about the avatar being rereleased after so many years though. I mean, I'd always wanted it, but at the same time I prefer when some things remain retired. Makes them feel more special

Hmm, are you sure? I just gave it a try and apparently WASD is for shooting, and for some reason I can't move when I shoot with those keys (I can move just fine while shooting with the arrow keys)  Maybe I'm doing something wrong...

I honestly have no idea what I'm gonna do about tomorrow's game. It's impossible to get a decent score on Nova Defender if you're a touchpad user, and to make things worse, my down arrow key is broken. Unless AAA's score is extremely low, I'm doomed

Welp, that only took me all day. I'm terrible at word games  I'm just glad it's over, and I'm actually happy that DD is proving to be more challenging this year.

Out of the 20 quests I've received so far, 12 were from the soup faerie, and it's getting a little annoying. I want to raise my pet's level but apparently she doesn't like raising that stat, at least not my pet's

EDIT: Make that 13 soup faerie quests. I opened a new cookie and got another quest from her.

I had spent all my NC on quest cookies yesterday, but today I logged in and noticed I had 50 NC left for some reason I suppose I got it from a random event and I just missed it (which would explain why I haven't gotten my daily random event from the RE perk). I went ahead and bought another cookie 'cause you can never have enough

EDIT: I just realized something: The Order won the battle this week, right? Which means all the people who joined them could technically choose the Quest Refresh boon and get 3 quests per day: one from the event, one from a quest cookie, and the bonus daily quest from Delina, which they could refresh to get a new one! Damn it, I should've participated last week! I remember there was one time when The Sway won during the quest event and I used the refresh boon get 3 daily quests. It was the best

They won't expire if you don't open them, so you can put them in your SDB and use them whenever you want  You just have to remember one thing: if you open a quest cookie during the faerie quest event, ALWAYS accept the daily quest from the event first, otherwise you won't be given a quest from the fortune cookie. You could  buy cookies now and use them after the event is done so you don't have anything to worry about, but where's the fun in that? Getting two quests a day brightens up your day  

So, Faerie Quest Cookies are discounted to 50 NC for the duration of the event. You know what that means...

My BD pet was at level 161 yesterday. Now he's at level 167. I love this event

I think this was the first time I didn't find all neggs on the day of release. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I'm a little disappointed in myself, but oh well

I always check Jellyneo first to see if I haven't missed any plot/event updates. Then I do my dailies, and if I get enough codestones in the battledome, I train my BD pet. I also place bets on Food Club from time to time, but that's about it. Although I'll ocassionally check the neoboards to see if there's any drama going on

I bought the Glam Up perk and now I have 600NC. Gotta wait for Faerie Quest Cookies to go on 50% off sale so I can buy a bunch of them. They'd be a huge help now that I'm training my pet to get him to level 200 so I can get Warlock's Rage

I also bought the random event perk because a) the rest of the perks don't really interest me b ) you can get a random event that gives you r101-103 TCG cards, which means there's an incredibly slight chance I could finally get this card for my gallery (let me dream).

I still got 15k points left. I'll buy another RE perk once my first one expires, but after that I'm not sure what I'm gonna buy, if anything.

What can I say other than FINALLY. Time to check my SDB (again) and sell some stuff.

EDIT: So apparently, even though the cap has been raised, you can't buy items that cost more than 99k.
