She can believe that cutting her hair is wrong, but she doesn't get to tell you that you shouldn't cut your hair. Same with the other things, although they are bad habits they are not "wrong" for you to do because her religion says so. Her religious beliefs are hers, and unless you share them you are under no obligation to live by them. She will hopefully figure that out at some point. I'm an atheist, but i do have an example of something that while not a religion gave me a similar mindset to your friend. When I was in high school, I stopped eating meat. For a number of reasons, including being bullied for a love for animals. The next year or so, I drove my meat eating family and friends nuts by becoming "preachy" about vegetarianism. Telling them what they were eating was wrong and so on. Eventually, I learned that I had to respect their choices and not try to change them to my point of view if I wanted to keep my relationships. I haven't eaten meat since, they all still eat meat, and that's okay. Hopefully you and your friend can reach a compromise in which you stay friends and respect each other's religion/lack of religion.

i'm doing the boycott too. ideally the nfts will be scrapped outright, but at the moment i'm more concerned about this "neopets metaverse" which is going to fork the site onto the blockchain. forking properties into parallel projects like this can sometimes work (it's worked out okay for runescape) but it's far more likely that this "neopets metaverse" is intended to replace our site.
and even if they are intended to run parallel, there's still the issue of the behaviour from the nft community. i know people can gripe about neopet's family-friendly image, given how the majority of the site's users are adults, and i've certainly grumbled about it plenty of times myself, but there are still kids on the site, and exposing them to the kinds of things in the nft community (such as the retweeting of NSFW project by the NeopetsMeta twitter) is just not okay! and no one, child or adult, deserves to be exposed to slurs or misgendering.

I gave the pre-converted layout page for the Giant Jelly a shot, and got Jellies apart from just Lemon (namely a Mummified Jelly for yesterday and a Whole Blunella Jelly for today via there). If anything, it's only the newer layout version of the Giant Jelly that's glitched into giving most Neopians the same kind of Jelly for them for days in a row.
If anyone asks, I had Flootenkerp as my active today and firefly_goblin as my active yesterday before getting my Jellies for those days.

I've been having this weird glitch with the fishing vortex that, to the best of my knowledge, works like this:
One of my pets, a Maraquan Xweetok, will not fish up anything from the vortex if she hasn't been set as my active pet for at least 12(?) hours. Setting her as my active pet for long enough to let her successfully fish up something from the vortex will instead result in my usual active pet being unable to fish until I make her my active pet for at least 12(?) hours instead. As far as I know, it doesn't affect my other pets. Just those two. I have no idea how to fix it or what's even causing it, and the 'swap active pet for certain period of time' thing is the only 'fix', which doesn't even fix it and just makes my Kacheek unable to fish instead. Since it seems to be related to active pet, I was wondering if it were somehow related to the Jelly thing being dependent on active pet, but there seems to be no correlation there either so 🙃

Forgot to switch, but still got a Watermelon Jelly. I wonder if this is related to the fishing vortex active pet glitch I've been dealing with for years now...

Now that I think about it... I've been getting a lot of watermelon jelly. I got some today, so I might swap active pets tomorrow and see what the result is.

I've noticed they are pretty laggy, but: has anyone else found Kass Basher to be way easier now or just me? I'm consistently getting scores of 1300+ with the bat when my average was usually 800-900. Annoyingly, though, Kass Basher won't remember your previous scores if you close the game's tab and reopen it, so you have to re-unlock the stick and club every time you open the game again.
Seems they also increased the amount of NP earned per sent score:

Yikes, is that why Vux/Zed spiked from like 20k to 40k+? That's just selfish. It doesn't particularly affect me as I just wait until I get the ones I need from battling, but I feel for everyone who actually has to buy their stones.
I typically battle the S750 Kreludan Defender Robot - he's easy enough to one-shot with Lens Flare, even with a low-level battle pet, and provides Neocola tokens in addition to tan/red codestones. Not sure how his payout compares to others like the Koi warrior etc., but I've had decent, steady rewards from him.

Ouch. I've been there - it's rough.
Past a certain point I'd honestly just try to powerlevel to 250 and train at the Secret Ninja training school. Even though you'd be paying in reds, the cost of one red would generally be less than the cost of 7-8 codestones.
Edit: Maybe not if it's asking for Vux or Zed. YMMV.
