I've been playing Neopets since 2003, and I finally won "Guess the Weight of the Marrow" today. I thought I'd never win that thing. Never happened before. The answer is 484 for today by the way, if anyone else wanna win...

This is just a post about me rambling about small things that have been on my mind these past few days (I also wanted an excuse to show my first ever AC counter). Read on if you want. So, lately I've been thinking about and noticing things. Like how the lines on the YYB field aren't exactly perfect and straight and really seem like they're painted. I love it. Or how some lands do have a game-loading screen and others don't. You know, the ones like the giant sea monster for Maraqua, the sinking Krawk for Krawk Island, the Scorchio banging on a drum for Tyrannia or The fairies for Faerieland. And how when in the first years I played Neopets I could restock my shop for every 3 days and still have something left in stock on the 3rd (restock) day. But now it can all be gone within 15 minutes to 1 hour. It's crazy, and kinda funny, how things can change over time. Also I never noticed before how Lord Kass has extra 'teeth/fangs' on his lower beak which I think it's pretty cool. Aaand that's pretty much it for now I guess. Thanks for reading (if you have). That's a big part of why pastel looks so insubstantial, there's just no darker definition. If I still had photoshop I'd darken the lines so we could see the difference it'd make. aesthetic? i imagine if you live in the haunted woods there a lot of scary stuff around, you gotta put up a front if you dont want to end up as the esophager's afternoon snack! someone on pc once pointed out that blumaroos have teeth that go all the way across their nose which means that the end of what we assume to be the end of their nose is actually their chin. neopets biology is both weird and fascinating.

Edit: been a while since ive actually gone through the list with any scrutiny, and in that time ive been training my bd pet quite a lot! so i got these two as well: i think i might also go for the plushie tycoon avatar in july, and try for a gold trophy as well? after that itll be time to seriously start thinking about getting as many of the flash game avatars as i can. no guarantees that theyll survive the flashpocalypse!
