The colour of the pet moves with the species change providing the pet you are morphing into has that colour. So a Woodland Kau could become a Woodland Hissi. There is however a workaround to get a pet of any colour through the perk. If the species you are morphing into does not have the colour your pet is currently painted, then you can pick any colour you want. So the Hissi for instance does not have Sketch as a colour. So if I morphed the pet I wanted to change species into a Sketch Acara, then started the Premium Perk and picked Hissi, it will tell me that the Hissi doesn't come in that colour. I can then pick ANY Hissi colour I want. Including lab only colours like Chocolate. That's how I got my MSP Poogle.

The colours a tad simplistic but is certainly striking. I do love the clothes though. Particularly the metallic costume which is really, really pretty. But the rattle snake is also cool! I've now got two hissi's on my bonus side. I need more pet slots on my main side and baby side to move them across. HisssyFits is going to be my baby and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with Hissdras yet, I already have Voldermorts who is Halloween/Transparent cross. I do like Candy and I don't have any candy pets, so that's a possibility...

Oooo these are all amazing! I still have my heart set on a mutant hissi, but that rainbow outfit is really making me second guess that. I wonder what it looks like on other colours? Because it looks like overlay is individual scales...

The ray is fired at __Ms_Chocolate__... ... and he changes colour to Strawberry!! Now I have two! The ray is fired at SweetCoCoNuTtY... ... and he changes into a Red Kacheek!!

LOOVE the cosmetic items! I never really liked the Hissi's until the candy color came out for them, now I might want those clothes for another one! lol

Yet another Color I didn't know didn't already exist, but I like it! The navy makes it a little less vibrant than I would want, but I really like the extra details, like its little specks being outlined and having the lightning-looking designs faintly behind it. The rattlesnake outfit is just perfect! It's simple, but looks just like a regular snake! Er, minus the arms. Love the patterns though And the shiny blue one is also very very pretty! The scales are so vivid, I love the little purple shading, and those eyes! Just as striking as those crystal-like fangs... A magnificent Hissi Day!

The artists do tend to go through 'phases' with certain colours. I guess they're just in a gem phase? Not really a fan, and I'm mainly just annoyed that the relic PB is probably going to increase in price again, sigh And it does look copied and pasted ^ although at least the back claws are different from the front claws.

To be honest I have seen this question asked so many times, before Jumpstart bought them, after Jumpstart bought them, etc. I will tell people I do coding for my guild on Neopets and am on staff at one of the help sites and I always hear; "That place is still alive/around!?!?" I think many people have in the past and will in the future wonder if Neopets will ever go down, but from my experience of being a LONG time player (earliest account was 2004) I don't feel it's going anywhere (as in it will always be kicking around ). The players that love the site despite some of the hiccups are still going to keep coming and supporting it. I found my love for coding and somewhat data entry by being on this site and have met some amazing people so I'm very much so planning to stick around. I've heard many similar stories to mine as well. I'm not too worried about it disappearing, only thing I would say is a bit concerning or mildly irritating is how long things take to be fixed or come out.
