Submit a ticket - TNT is usually pretty good about things concerning NC since you are out real money when things go awry. I know they have awarded new cookies to folks for things like unannounced downtime... They may be able to help you out - or at least tell you what happened!

I avoid the apple bobbing daily bc I carry 200 dubloon coins to run to the Smuggler's Cave to see if I can buy something there-so no bobbing until I get that done. I try to remember to go to the Wheel of Excitement usually get the ?, hesitant about the Wheel of Knowledge, since I just used the Seeker's boon of Book Smarts and got all of their Intelligence levels to 700+ (their bars at BD are filled & green!) I really don't want to drop their levels down, and don't know when I'll have enough to throw away 100,000 np a shot for the Wheel of Extravagance. I did manage to get the Wheel of Monotony the first time I tried it, like I got the Bon Appetite! Avatar the first try which I now realize was really dumb luck for me. I have the Kiko Pop, but still like to get a book or wearable clothes item & I like to make Elvin duck. And I do the Wise Old King every day (King Hagan) and if he doesn't tell me I'm dense or if he could give me lower than F-, it's a good day but I don't know if I'll ever get that A+ to get that avatar! LOL

I can't even begin to imagine what all of that would do to me, you are unbelievably & admirably brave and are so full of strength and endurance that I can only hope to work towards  with my student easy-going life. Your positive spirit through all of this, that continues and doesn't stop, is amazing and unparalleled with anything I've ever known in my youngish life. This is what I refer to that I feel I am walking among women warriors that I wish were our world leaders or were our contenders for the US presidency, but I m at least blessed enough to learn life's lessons in humility and real inner strength and perseverance. My prayers are for your health to be restored and maintained and for your brothers' health to also be restored and maintained, ameen (=means May God make this so).

Welcome to the forums! Good luck getting back into being an active neogoer again! LOL I think I just made up a new word. XD Anyway, there are a lot of really friendly and helpful people here on the forums. Since you're talking about being shy, a common thing, hopefully knowing that there are friendly people here, will help you work through that. I only say that because it sounds like that's what you want to do.
 
Neoquest 2, that's a good game! I wish they would create a 3rd Neoquest adventure. Good luck finishing your playthrough! I hope you get a decent prize! :D When I finished on InSaNe mode, I got Velm's Staff of Righteous Fury, the weakest of all the Insane prizes. So I wish you better luck! Welcome to the forum.  We definitely want to hear from you.  It isn't a matter of who says what better than whom.  People have different opinions, different outlooks, different ways of doing things, and one may know something that another person doesn't know.  There are many different ways to do something and many different opinions.  It is nice to hear more than one.  Please, don't hesitate to express your way, we may be missing out.  To be honest, when I first came to this forum, I felt the same way.  But I jumped in, started chatting, and met a LOT of great people.  Before I knew it, I was getting a lot of likes and great comments on my posts!  I thought, "wow! people are actually interested to hear what I have to say!" 
I read through a lot of topics and people give a lot of great advice, but they don't always think of everything.  Everyone has something to add.  It would be a pretty boring world if one person knew EVERYTHING, right?  lol.  The contributions from so many members is what makes this forum so great.  So, that is my long winded, rambling way, of saying welcome.

Like the title says, this is incredibly late in coming. I was very active on NP some six years ago, I fell out of it due to various reasons, but recently I decided to get active again, start playing, play some of the games, eventually finish my NeoQuest play through, and just kind of enjoy the site (as much as possible). 
 
Not a lot to say about me in terms of introduction. I'm a bit of a nerd, I enjoy reading, writing, etc, I've been on Neopets for the last 11 years, with sporadic periods of activity. I spend most of my time roleplaying, running d20 games, or  listening to music. I'm usually kind of shy, and it took.. well, obviously a long time to build up to wanting to say hello on the forums. I tend to go into long periods of quiet, and I don't always contribute to threads because I find others have said it better, but I'm trying to push myself back out of my 'comfort zone' and into a place where I can be active and social.
 
And I got to rambling.  Right, hi everyone!

Duping is the process of duplicating items illegally using an exploit in coding. 'dupe' is slang for 'duplicate'. Duping items is common in certain games, especially browser or old html games where the coding is easily exploitable or manipulated. It's also common in MMORPGS and single player games on consoles, mostly RPGs, through using glitches in the system. Duped items are used to make easy money usually, by copying high level or rare objects. The problem is, this floods a market with said item and can lead to serious deflation or other economic issues. Using exploits to dupe can also cause a site stability problems. Back in the past, there were people who exploited the code in Neopets (because old java and early HTML were easily exploitable anyway, and even more so now), to copy things like the attack peas. Unfortunately, having a duped item is the same as having something like bought currency in an MMO. People didn't know items were duped, but having them meant they benefit from an exploit, so the accounts are all frozen regardless of responsibility. Some dupers were complete douche canoes, and would send items to people seeming like they were being generous, but they really just wanted to cause chaos and take people down with them.
 
Some people also set things to NF only just because they didn't want a ton of stuff coming in from people they didn't know as well, so there's that.

Hello and welcome =) I'm Riley. That's cool you came back to Neopets after a while. It happens a lot with people. I think we get older and are busy with our lives, but then start to remember how much we enjoyed Neopets and all the great memories. It's really cool to know it's not only still around, but that so many people are on and still really enjoy playing.

Heh, sorry about that. Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, back inmid 2000's there were problems with people sending random trades, and sometimes you'd end up with duped items and get frozen, so me and my crew back then had everything set to NF only.

As cylonpirate said, it is USUALLY around 7:30-8pm NST.  Luckily, yesterday I got my silver in Imperial Exam at approx 8pm NST because I kept checking and checking and I was still on the bottom of the silver spot (already had a bronze), then I got my trophy, checked again about 15 mins later and I was moved to the bronze spot.  lol.  I got bronze in dueling decks as well yesterday.  However, it took a couple of days to get my meepit juice break, meerca chase II, and maths nightmare.  IDK why, sometimes it takes a couple of days.  I sent a ticket about maths nightmare, because that one WAS a nightmare, lol, and they told me if I was still on the HS list when they award the trophies, I will get it, if not, I won't, but there is no way to determine the validity through a ticket.  I was like, "Uh yeah there is idiot!  Look at the list NOW!!  I am on it. Look at my account, I don't have the trophy!  I sent the ticket two days ago.  I didn't freaking PREDICT I would be in the second place position two days from the day I sent the ticket and not have a trophy!" 
 
I think you will get your trophy.  I really think it is a glitch of some sort.  I could be wrong, but have any names been added to the HS table recently?  I feel they get stored, and as soon as trophies get awarded, the table will change.  Because you know as well as I do, the tables change QUICKLY at the beginning of the month.  It is hard to stay in any position for any length of time.

Those three games are a little different, as far as trophies are concerned. They are one of the "Exceptional 8". The Exceptional 8 games are those games where, if you post the max score, and are in the top 100 of the high-score table, when trophies are awarded, all (max scores) will receive the gold trophy. If the top 100 all post the max score, all 100 will get a gold trophy.
 
Generally, if you can get max score, for those Exceptional 8, you can, pretty much, try for the gold trophy at any time during the month - not just on "reset day".
 
If the high-score table, for those Exceptional 8, isn't filled with max scores, and you don't post a max score, then, as long as your score is in the top 17 of that game's high-score table at trophy time, you will receive the appropriate trophy for the slot you are in.
 
If the high-score table is filled with all max scores, for those Exceptional 8 games, and you post a max score, you will start in slot 100. As more max scores are posted, you will move up the list. When you are in slot 1, and someone posts a max score, you will be "bumped" off of the table, and will not be able to go back on the high-score table, until next month, when the tables reset. You can continue to play that game for NP for the rest of that month, but will not be placed back on the list, until reset day.
 
And, in my experience, and as CylonPirate and mcsneezy said, trophies are usually awarded around 8pm "ish" NST (8 pm NST, or a few minutes after). On occasion, the trophy awarding script may "glitch" and trophies might not be awarded. Usually, you will see posts on the "Games" and "Help" Neoboards, when that happens.

I always get mine right around 8pm NST & that's the time I see most other guides reference :) I really  hope you get yours! I placed bronze for Super Hasee Bounce for 3 days in a row & never got my trophy :( Submitted a ticket, but it was useless. Thankfully I got a gold one yesterday, finally! :P

I'm also reading City of Bones by Cassandra Clare at the same time, except I keep putting it down and reading other things.  I found the first two thirds of the book really engaging but then an event happened that I could see coming and it annoyed me so I put the book down for a few weeks and haven't really gotten back into it when I have picked it up again.  A friend has loaned me the whole series and I really need to get them read and returned.
I also like Tamora Pierce but I've never read Rick Riordan, although my son has the first couple of books in the Percy Jackson series.
