Seriously! I had a 13-0 game and I get a Darigan Yooyu for my last ball.  Still a great score, but man.

I reset the game, I mean, seriously, who wants a Darigan yooyu in their game, right?

Anyway, I hate it when I get the fire yooyu and I wind up to shoot it, only to have one of the defenders in the back field catch it.  Uggh!

Bahahaha!  I was joking.  I didn't reset the game.  Gotcha!  LOL

I was just going to ask the same thing.  I have reached my goal of 2 ranks per day, whew!  Been working REALLY hard.  Reached rank 16 last night. Working toward rank 18 today.  I think I will definitely reach my goal of making AS this year.  Woohoo!

Can't get my counter to update though.  Have to work on that.  That's why I put my rank shield up there instead.  I have to update that too.  LOL

Anyway, I would love it if scores started counting for extra prize points, or ANYTHING. Because as far as I know, there is no difference in the AC between a game of YYB that scores 1-0, vs one that scores 16-0. Except maybe to help boost the lead goal-scorers from each team in the goals per game average.

The goals you score DO help your team.  So, if you score 16-0 you have scored 16 yyb points for your team's daily score. and if you scored 16-3, you score 13 yyb points for your team's daily score.  Those points are averaged to come up with the winning team's score.

No issues for me either.  I would say it has to be your browser or something on your end.  I haven't had any issues with it at all.

Who here has ever tried with all their might to either, grab the yooyu, or score a goal, only to realize you can't do anything!  You keep trying and trying and you push the button harder and harder......................only to realize your cursor is WAY off the screen? (face palm). 

How about, when the other team throws the yooyu into the corner of the field, yep, over near your net.  You KNOW that 9 times out of 10, their teammate is going to pick it up and score.  You hustle over there with all your might, but................you're either not fast enough, or, you do get the yooyu only to have them grab it right back from you and...................yep, you guess it.  I can't perform that move against them!!!  I can't STAND that Techo cheering for them when they score.  It looks like it's having a seizure.  LOL

I TRY to wait until they get up there, above 65, but it seems to me anyway, that once they do, they start to drop again.  I mean, I don't check them CONSTANTLY, maybe that's what I need to do.  Keep the window open and keep refreshing.  That way, if it starts to drop, I can sell.  IDK.

Hi.  I had/have the same issue.  My stats are pretty much the same as yours.  I am doing just that, leveling up so I can train at the ninja school.  It is just too long and too many codestones to train right now.  I also use the Faerie Quest Fortune cookies.  Problem with those, they are unpredictable, like the lab ray, in that you don't know which stats you will get.  Good thing with those though, you can combine it with the boon, Faerie quest refresh, if you win the obelisk.

You are too funny Angelo.  But the way you are playing, from Here to-----> here is actually left to right, not right to left.  It is the same way as reading (except in Hebrew) >-----> is left to right.  In radiology that is NOT right to left.  ROTFL.  That is why they have to label the X-Ray.  Because, if you looked at it WITHOUT the label, you could mistakenly think it was the person's left side, but it is a mirror image, so they label it with the little R so there is no confusion.  It's just like when I am examining a patient and I have to chart whether it is the right or left arm, leg, foot, hand, eye, ear, etc.  I get confused at times too because they are facing me.  I have to really think about it.  lol.

But, to simplify it in terms of YYB, when looking at the screen, my team starts by my right hand and I have to make a goal by my left hand.  The other team scores goals at my right hand.  When @jellysundae and @kute play, their teams start at their left hand and they score their goals at their right hand.  The other team scores goals at their left hand. The same way you do.  Hope that helps.  Seems like I am the odd one.  Not that that's anything new.  lol

Ya know what?  I TOTALLY get how you feel!  After that fiendish formations avie was given out, and I didn't get it (because I HONESTLY thought I had started playing in time) I was bummed out for the rest of the plot.  If you followed any of my posts, you could see/hear the change in my tone and demeanor.  I don't have a good poker face, lol, everyone knows EXACTLY what I am thinking by the look on my face.  Well, it's the same with my words.  I don't hide my feelings.  Everyone knew how I felt after that.  I just wasn't as into the plot anymore after that.  I just wanted it to be done.  I felt totally ripped off.  Mainly because, for one, the thing dragged on and on, and the updates were V-E-R-Y SLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW in coming.  So when I did see the update for FF, I thought I saw it one the first day.  Apparently not.  For another thing, on MOST events/plots, they give 1-1/2 days in the beginning, for people in different time zones I presume, to catch up.  I felt that something with THAT MUCH value on the outcome should have been done the same way.  All of us who participated in that plot put SOOOOOOOOOOOO much work into it only to have on day throw off the whole thing.  

So, while I did not literally cry, I did all but.  I was highly depressed about it.  Every time I saw Angelo's Avie on my friend's online list, it really bothered me.  I thought of giving up on NPs because of it too.  It really did bother me THAT much.  So you weren't the only one.  I am sure you and I had plenty of good company too.  

@xanthocomically, the rubber windshield wiper like thingy is called a squeegee.  It is the same thing the gas station attendants used to dry the windows off after they would wash them. Most of you are probably too young to know about that,  but @jellysundae, @Granny63020 and a few others here remember those days. Lol.

@MegHidd, watch where you park in Philadelphia.  The parking authority there is famous for writing tickets and booting cars. Read the signs CAREFULLY. They can be confusing.

Ok.  So you definitely have time.  Yes, that's what you need to do then.  I know it sucks but you HAVE to dedicate 30 min blocks of time.  If that's all you do is 30 mins, that is totally fine.  I found that once I got going, I was fine, it was "the getting going" part that was difficult.  The motivation.  However, DON'T work more than 2 hrs at a time without at least a 15-20 min break.  You start getting irritable and your brain won't process information.  So, at least 30 mins, but no longer than 2 hrs at one time.  If you do work for 30 mins and take a 15 min break, then work another 30 mins, I would do that for about 3-4 hours.

Keep me updated on how you are doing.  I will act as your mentor.  I will try to keep you motivated.  Plus, it's only another month and a half.  Then you are finished.  That is going to be a GREAT feeling!!! 

OMG, you are talking to the BIGGEST procrastinator.  Add to it the fact that I am a perfectionist, and that is a recipe for disaster.  Meaning, when I do FINALLY get around to doing what I need to do, it is never good enough.  With my school assignments, I couldn't get them turned in, because I kept re-tweaking them until I felt they were perfect.  It got to the point where my mentor (I will get more into that in a sec) told me, you have to bite the bullet and just turn it in the way it is, because you can't afford to turn them in late either.

The online nursing school I went to was awesome because I had a mentor.  She called me every week.  I HAD to take her phone call or I was out of the program.  During the phone call, I had to tell her what I had accomplished during the previous week and what I planned to accomplish the next week.  Then, during the next call, if I didn't accomplish it, I better have a darn good excuse why I didn't.  And playing neopets wasn't a good excuse.  lol.  

When do you have to finish the class by?  My way of getting motivated was, I would say to myself, "ok, I am going to work on my schooling for 30-60 mins.  Then I will take 15-20mins break to eat, have coffee, do my dailies on neopets, etc. Then I will go back to another 30 mins and so on."  Usually, once I got going, I would work longer than the 30-60 mins.  It was just GETTING STARTED.  So, I told myself, just 30 mins.  And if you only do 30 mins, that's fine too.  At least you are doing something.  If you do 30 mins worth of work every hour for 4 or 5 hours, you have 2 to 2-1/2 hours of school work done!  Do that each day and that's 10-12 hrs per week.  Good luck.

Yes, that could be it.  Because I think trying to play that way would be awkward.  But I am still going to give a shot.  Why not?  LOL.  You are totally right though, it is much easier in the beginning, then bam, they become pros.  LOL  That is EXACTLY what I was getting at without actually saying that they are cheating, ROTFL.

I really suck at yooyuball. Back in 2010 I could easily score 12-13 points per game, but now I can hardly get past 8 and the other team usually scores 2-3 times. Not that I care as long as I win the match

Since I quoted like 90 posts here (LOL) I am answering the first 4 here.  I feel they DID make it a bit harder as far as the OTHER teams being able to score more and steal the ball more.  As far as the number of goals I can score, eh, pretty much the same, maybe a little less.  But, I could usually have MOST games, but at least SOME games that were a shut out.  Now, forget it.  The other team is ALWAYS scoring at LEAST one goal, if not more, against me!  They have NEVER been able to score more than 1 against me before.  But this year, WOW!

I was playing with the 1-3 formation but have started playing with the 3-1 formation.  I think I am going to go back to 1-3 as that could be the reason they are able to score against me so often.  I only have one person in the back field protecting my goalie, who is a total dunce.  I can't figure out how to get that dufus to move.  Lol.

I was going to ask everyone, since we are talking about it being harder (or not harder) than years past, does anyone notice how the other team players seem to magically teleport to steal the ball from you?  Like, you try to catch them, and you can't catch up to them, but they are way behind you, then they disappear for a split second and reappear right on top of you and snatch the ball away.  Second, they can grab your ball but you can only SOMETIMES grab it from them.  You get on them and click, but it's like you are "locked out" of grabbing the ball from them. What IS that?  LOL.  Finally, how many of you have noticed, and I have noticed it A LOT, so if you haven't, pay close attention, when you are shooting a goal, and say you are aiming for the corner, your ball curves right into their goalies hands.  Yep, I swear.  I have watched it actually arc right into them.  LOL.  It is quite annoying.

Way to go TM!!!  We won all of our games yesterday against Kreludor!  Hopefully we can do it again today.  We are definitely rockin' it.  I played my heart out.  My goal is to be 2x the rank for whatever day we are on.  So, I made it to rank 8 yesterday, our 4th day.  I figure, if I can maintain that pace for a little bit, I can make AS fairly easy.  So, Rank 10, here I come.  My trick, I max out on SoSD every day, and play quite a bit of yooyu ball.  So I am counting the rest of you guys for keyboard masher and slushie slinger.  LOL.  I do play slushie slinger, but not a lot, and I don't really play keyboard masher. 

Personally, I don't even HOW someone could actually play TWO games of yooyu ball at the same time, LOL.  I can barely manage one!  Imagine trying to play two games of MSoN!!  LOL.  Pounding on 4 letters of the keyboard instead of two.  Hmmmm!  Would that actually work?

But, in all seriousness, as @Scoobert_Doo has so generously pointed out with links to the editorials, it IS against the rules to play two of ANY game at the same time.

I sometimes put stock into things conspiracy theorists say.  But THIS, pfffft, LOL, not at all.  For example, I grew up in Connecticut and live right over the line in Massachusetts now.  If the school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School really did happen, I feel sorry for those parents.  I'm just not buying it.  Of all the school shootings, you see lots of footage of kids running from the building(s), jumping out of windows, crying, total chaos.  The ONLY picture you see of Sandy Hook is one still shot, of like 6 children, walking in a line, with one hand on the shoulder of the student in front of them.  And when you look around, there's nothing else.  Sorry, don't buy it.  If all that carnage happened, there would be more chaos than that.

Now, the theory that Paul Walker's death was hoaxed to promote the Fast 7 film.  Not a chance.  While it CERTAINLY did that, I don't think he would have missed the 8th movie.  That's possible, but here's the MAIN reason I don't think it was a hoax.  Because, if it were going to be a planned hoax, it would SURELY be Vin Diesel who would want the glory of being the star of the hoax.  But then again, I guess he has found a way to make it all about him.

That is disappointing.  I think the avatars should be a one shot/time deal.  Kind of like the royal korbat, you get one or the other.  So, once you have a team avatar, that's it.  I understand the fact that people might join a team for the first time, and not want to stay on the team.  OR, if you switch teams, your avatar switches too!  THAT would solve the problem too.  So if you aren't happy with your team/avatar, you can switch, and your avatar switches, but you don't get to keep the old avatar.

I think my answer above would solve the problem too.  I really would like to keep the avatar, but I do realize the issues it would cause by people switching teams.  I think, ONE avatar and that's it.  You switch teams, you forfeit your avatar.

Ok, well that kind of makes sense.  With everything else, they give you a day and a half, due to time zone issues.  It was the first day that I missed, so that is probably why I got it.  And AGAIN, I had another dyslexic moment.  After re-reading the email, It does say that I missed DAY 1, not 1 day as I stated in my earlier post.  So I am sorry that I got people excited due to my error.  I either read it too quickly or my brain filled it in with what I THOUGHT it said and not what it actually said.  Thanks for the clarification @Nielo.

Sorry for the OVER reaction, but everyone who knows me well knows that, for one, I was VERY upset, for quite a while, over that avatar.  lol. As @Winter said, we worked SO hard and were so committed to it.  And to miss it because of missing the first day, ESPECIALLY when TWR was dragging out and the updates were so far and few between.  They did the same thing with the Faerie quest event too.  They ALWAYS ran the first day for 1-1/2 days.  But not this year! Nope, of course not, because I missed it.  lol.  So I made SURE to do the negg festival RIGHT AWAY, but lo and behold, they did THAT for 1-1/2 days.  So who knows what they are thinking.

And with the pirate jelly, everyone knows that I have a pirate gallery and that is a priority item on my wish list.  Never thought I would get it though.  Hey @jellysundae, I'm guessing they haven't fixed the jelly issue yet, because I've never gotten a rare jelly like this before!

So please forgive my enthusiasm, I am just super psyched about these two things.  I know it's only pixels, but this is better than Christmas morning.  lol.
