Hi I am hoping all of you at The Daily Neopets are OK. I usually depend on the Side Bar for forum information but I have noticed the side bar nothing has been posted since Wednesday. The Daily puzzle hasn't been updated and of course a lot of other information. I hope all of the people responsible for keeping me informed are doing well. Anyway, I hope whoever is the one that posts the information is doing well. I miss the information being posted. Also, I noticed a lot of missing updates.

Neopets will be down for maintenance August 19th for approximately two hours, beginning at 8:30 AM NST, lasting until 10:30 AM. The site will be offline during this time.

Hi Granny! Thank you for your concern! Here at TDN, we are a small group of staff. Unfortunately, that means when life events happen, there aren't many to cover us. Now, when all of us have something going on, it's even trickier. I can't speak for everyone on staff, but for myself, I've been slammed at work with 10-hour days, 5-6 days a week. On top of that, I've been busy prepping for a major exam that's worth 50% of my course mark. I'm trying to get back into the loop with everything and work to keep our site updated for all our wonderful followers. If there's ever anything specific you notice we're missing, besides the daily puzzle and crossword, please send us a ticket on the main site. If you're in our Discord server, you can also send me a DM and let me know.

So we've seen in families like the Fairweathers or Sophie and Bruno's family, sometimes the parents are a different species than their offspring! That could be because they've transformed since conceiving their children, or they have recessive species markers that come out in their children, or just because, but I LOVE the idea of offspring having some inherited traits from their parents! It's why my xweetok Bonny, whose mom was a xwee and dad was a yurble, has fluffier fur, and a distinct curl in her ear! What do you think?

Hey, just joined TDN, I've been playing neopets now for 19 years now. Looking to expanding my avatar count while also would like to be useful and give back to the community where I can. The Void Within is back after a lengthy hiatus with an all new chapter! Continue the story by reading all of Chapter 8 to unlock a new Battledome Challenger, Hospital Shift, and find new Void Essence locations to earn plot points. Previous games such as Voidworks, Tavi's Tea Time and the Cosy Campire Collection are still playable, however they appear to not be awarding plot points at this time. New prizes have also been added to the prize shop so give them a look!

If you scroll down on the main event hub page there's a bar that shows how many points out of 3000 you've gained during Chapter 8. To my knowledge there isn't a weekly cap, just the 3000 total you can get before the next Chapter releases (most are saying 2? weeks or whenever they decide to drop it).

So we all agree Luxinia has PTSD, right? Because that's 110% what that episode she had looked like. Honestly, people can complain about this plot all they want, TNT is doing a fantastic job portraying mental health issues and bringing attention to them.

I really wish people hadn't complained. I really liked the old format of having a chapter every few days instead of the huge long thing on day 1. Oh well, I guess I'm the oddball there

Hey Aira, I just wanted you to know that I signed TKP up for the Upcoming Void Within Battledome Guild Contest that will start August 8 (4 days after The Void Within Plot returns) and will run until August 31st. I provided my email and username and our Guild's name (The Kindness Project) and a screenshot of our Guild HQ/Front Page and # of current members (270 - I'm not expecting everyone will be battling, but we do have a fair amount of members that battledome consistently) and our Founder's (your) username: rockangel_star. I don't mid the hit points. Ijust don't like being deceived. If it says the hit points are 1600 then that's what it should be, (not 2800). Nothing I could do to change it. I finally got the stamp album piece I was battling for. Thanks for your input. Always a big help when I need advice. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
