Some weeks ago I found a shop whose owner's username was socialista (socialist in Portuguese). Funnily enough, when I checked his user lookup his "name" was Tony Stark! So I sent him this:

I didn't realize you have to put the cap in a box to send, so unless you have several boxes in stock, a two cap item actually costs four. (Fortunately, I had pre-bought three caps and opened a fourth to have at least one box on hand.)
 
But I did it! I made my first NC trade! WOO!

I like being able to say, "Okay, I have this item...now let me look at all the users that want this item and see which has an item that I want most." and then broker the best deal for what I'm getting rid of. :D

Its painfully obvious that Premium/NC purchases offer no protection based off all the people who have premium/nc mall purchases being frozen... one person is even posting about their experience here.

I don't usually listen to Empress, either, because she always tends to say the same thing.
 
Maybe it has to do with getting over level fifty? It seems like I've had one get over 50 in the past, but I may have not had the other stats trained up enough, or perhaps it's new since then.

We aren't getting any snow down here in the south, but apparently we're supposed to have some of the coldest temperatures in years. Honestly I would rather have the snow along with it. At least then we could all miss work and lay around for a day or two :P

Heh, I'm 40 - I'll be 41 in a few weeks! I think there are a lot more older players than people realize, so if you still enjoy it, I wouldn't worry about it at all. :D

I feel like this all the time! I'm 20 years old and only my best friend knows because she use to play it obsessively when she was younger.
I considered when I was around 17 in giving it away and I did for a little while, but then I came straight back. Neopets has a hold on me I cannot shake. It's your choice whether or not to give it up, but people sometimes don't realise that neopets isn't just a child's game. There is so much strategy behind what you do and it's all about achieving set goals. The adult community is so active and widespread.
Hope you decide to stay! But I completely understand the feelings of "being too old" for neopets!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is dying of boredom with this. I swung by to see how many floors there were and with many of you saying "at least 69", forget it.
 
I doubt there are any prizes I haven't gotten, at this point; the floors are monotonous (the entrance is always diagonal from the exit); nothing is selling very high anymore, etc., etc.
 
I don't care if I lose out on some special prize or something because I stopped between thirty-five and thirty-six. I can't stand it anymore! It's just like the blasted obelisk--they grind us to pieces and the ending will probably be lackluster.

I didn't think an Ixi would go very well, but I thought it was worthwhile to check.
