My alternative entry for the Special Edition Runway with Gold, Silver and Bronze theme.



I submitted a silver themed look for the contest, then I was browsing golden items to make a look for fun.. The Golden Cage with Naleap item caught my eye, and made me think of Princess Jasmine in Aladdin for some reason. Just the idea of a princess living in a grand castle/palace but having limited freedom. Like a caged bird - the cage is luxorious, but the bird still longs to fly free. Which is why I added the golden key balloon. This may be the better entry of the two I made, certainly a more inspired one!

Ian also has 3 Keychains from Overpowered to give away, so we get to do another awesome round with really cool prizes for the three winners!
This means that, like last time, I'll make sure there won't be any ties.

(And yes, I always check all the votes for each entry, to make sure people haven't asked their friends/family members to make accounts just to vote for them. I haven't seen it on here since I started running this contest, so I don't think it'll be an issue, but just in case: if I see a lot of accounts made in the past week(s) vote (mainly) for you, I'm going to look into it and you risk being disqualified.)
 
Special theme: Gold, Silver, Bronze
Description: Dress up a Gold, Silver or Clay* pet using (mostly) Gold, Silver or Bronze items. You're allowed to use items which include other colours, but try to make sure the vast majority of the items you use are gold, silver or bronze(ish). To help with finding items, I made list on DTI. A lot of the items on it will be obvious (for instance all the ones with 'gold' in the name), but considering the lack of bronze items, I thought it might help to show you some items that could pass for bronze. I did also include some items that include some other colours, or which kinda resemble other colours (like yellow), but I tried to stay away from items with 'yellow' or 'grey' in their name, as those are obviously not meant to pass for gold or silver. I'm sure this list is incomplete, so don't feel obligated to only use items which are on there. As long as most of your custom is gold, silver and/or bronze, it's fine. (I personally think 'rose gold' is more pink than gold, so I didn't include those items in the list, and suggest not using them, but if you disagree with that, please post it in this thread, so I can see if many people feel that way.)
Entering period: Saturday, September 8 - Friday, September 21
Voting period: Saturday, September 22 - Friday, October 5
*Because there is no Bronze pet colour. ?

Bought a new background today and I'm really pleased with the cosy seasonal look I've been able to create. ?

I struggle with seasonal customisation stuff because it's invariably TOO seasonal for me, TNT seem to just LOVE stuffing holiday items into backgrounds and thus making them hard to use IMO. This b/g being a good example because of the pumpkins, and not just pumpkins but jack-o-lanterns, but the flowers partially cover them so I'm cool with that.
Really I wanted to use the Buzzer abode because that looks adorable, but the pumpkins are too in my face using that, lol.

*It's probably a good idea to mention in your entry which god(dess) you chose, since I doubt all of use will know all of the classical gods. You can put it in the title, the description or just mention it separately, in which case I'll find a way to include it in your entry. (But the title would really be easiest.)

Hm, I think I understand how it happens now, but I don't think I get what's so bad about splitting...? And how rich of them to establish etiquette, when kadding itself is such a dog-eat-dog thing (or should I say, kad-eat-kad ).

Is my bitterness showing? I hope it's not showing. LOL

I'm originally from São Paulo as well, but I've lived in a city that's ~1.5 hours away since I was 3 years old. I kinda like it here, because it has a lot of the benefits of a big city, without being as crazy as SP, lol. What I don't like here is the weather... it's too hot and sunny.
@jellysundae The "latino" thing is kinda controversial here. As @ladyblack said, we don't refer to ourselves as such, and a lot of people are offended by it. I think there are several reasons for that, but one of them is that we are "culturally different from other South American countries". In my opinion that's a silly argument because all countries are culturally different from each other, there isn't a universal "latino culture". It seems that Spanish speaking countries in South America tend to be lumped together, and some Brazilians don't want Brazil to be lumped in with them. I suppose that wanting to be recognised for your own culture is fair, but it's not fair to reject the label merely over the assumption that we're different, while all the others are the same. As for race, I consider myself white here, but I refer to myself as White Latin American internationally.

@Nielo I've never been to The Netherlands, but I lived in a city founded by Dutch immigrants here in Brazil for about 6 months  So I learned a thing or two about Dutch culture, haha. I know a few children's songs like Het Regent and Toen Onze Mop Een Mopje Was, I got sweets from Zwarte Piet at school (not gonna lie, it was a bit weird lol), and I learned to eat Hagelslag (for those of you who aren't familiar, look it up. It'll change your life ).

Cejer the Pirate Krawk is UFA

I came across her yesterday, whilst pound surfing. She was obviously quickly adopted by someone else, but they decided to morph her into a Green Ogrin and put her back in the pound. So I adopted her as an Ogrin and morphed her back into a Pirate Krawk. I offered to pound her again, but changed my mind, because I didn't want the same thing to happen again (especially not now that I paid out of my own pocket to change her back). I also thought it would be nice if she could keep her clothes, which is my I'm adopting her out via transfer. I'd like to adopt her out to someone who wants to keep her as a Krawk. I can change her gender, since I think her name sounds neutral. If you're interested, please send me a PM!

In my case, yep, I always play with numbers! I'm surprised you feel that the symbols are easier to follow... That screenshot you posted makes my head hurt, lol. I'm not usually a fan of numbers (I'm more of a word game kind of gal), but in this case I think the numbers are more straightforward. Everyone knows 1 is followed by 2, which in turn is followed by 3. So you just go 1-2-3-2-1-2-1-2-3...
Oh, and for a higher score, I always make sure to get at least one golden tile in the first level. If I don't, I restart the game. I usually score somewhere between 30k and 50k in level 1. My highest score ever was 753,900, which earned me a bronze trophy (it was one of the few trophies I earned by accident - I love this game so much! ).

I'm going to be blunt.  Abuse needs to be called out whenever it is seen and can not have excuses made for it.  One of my best friends is in a controlling relationship and I consistently call out the problematic behavior as it helps to not be normalized. Not talking to people in abusive relationships only helps the abuser as it allows them to be seen as a the only one who will support them. 
Encourage both to leave. And don't be afraid of offending someone who is hurting someone you love. 
I'm sorry this situation is so hard.  There is no good answer as to how to act when someone you care about is being hurt by someone they love.

I had an idea for this round but simply had no time  Wanted to do Storm from X-MEN.
