I totally agree. This was going to be the first time I reached all-star. I was disappointed that it would be interrupted by a practice day, but it was still something I could do within my time limit. I was quite shocked to find out today was another practice day. There's no way I can make it to all-star now. Ugh!

Thank you so much. I did receive the trophy just like you said. I guess I just assumed that once the score had been reviewed it would be there. I've been playing for years and knew the review could take awhile, like with Eliv Thade. That one took almost a week to get reviewed. But I had never waited for the trophy to be awarded before, so now I know. Thanks again for the help!

I just finished NQII yesterday in normal mode. I used the JN guide the whole way through, and it WILL tell you if there is someone you need to specifically talk to. On occasion, there will also be whole areas you can skip. None of this will effect you earning the trophy. The thing to be aware of, however, that wasn't made particularly clear in the guide - are the rest stops. If your characters are not in need of a rest to top off their health meters, or if you're just trying to save money, think again. Those rest stops are also save points of a sort. If you were to 'die', you'll start again at the last rest stop you visited. Thankfully this never happened to me, but I didn't even realize it until I was over two-thirds of the way through the game. I like the IDEA of a steampunk PB, but I'd almost rather them release more steampunk clothing than the PB itself. I haven't had luck working with robot parts, and this looks like it would work similarly. It's also dark like stealthy, which isn't bad, but I'd like to see the color of the pet. If they keep the colors relatively neutral and muted, it might be okay.

I haven't gotten my account back yet, but I'm going to look into that board you posted raelilphil. I was always in stealth mode, but played on my account routinely. My shield wasn't covered up, but who knows? I've heard that a server was compromised and that a lot of people's accounts were affected. That might account for the delay, but I hope they get it resolved soon.

I don't think it's officially started yet. Looks like they're working on it. When it first appeared on my page, it was in the upper left hand corner in a little scroll box. Now I have the whole page, but it not only doesn't award anything yet, it allows you to keep spinning.

While I agree that set would do it, 2 Scroll of Knowledge (or a Scroll of Knowledge and a Scroll of Ultranova) instead of the YBlasters is way cheaper and would do just as well at this level. Also, a Parasol of Unfortunate Demise can come in handy, too.

I would like to see a plot with more meat to it as well. Even the plot event that accompanied Krawk Island's revamp was a bit skimpy. Don't get me wrong -- I enjoy the small plot events too, it's just that they are over so fast.
 
The Altador plot, the Tale of Woe, the Lost Desert plot, the Curse of Maraqua... I'm sure there's a few others since I wasn't even playing Neopets yet during some of these... but these seemed to have more substance. They also seem to be the ones that added something to Neopets' history. I'm trying to remember if the Faeries' Ruin was the last one like this. I don't really count the War of the Obelisk because of its 'continuation' factor -- being used as not only a revamp to Tyrannia, but to the Battledome.
 
And even though I completed the Altador plot ages ago, I always liked the fact that they kept it available to play for anyone just coming in that wasn't here to participate originally. Why can't some of them be more like that? Another avatar, another trophy... who wouldn't like that?

I had this issue as well.... someone here suggested changing your language in the NC Mall. This works, but when you decide to change it back, it also has to be done in the Mall. Hope this helps.

I've recently noticed that changing the language so that your pet will read a book doesn't work for me anymore. Does anybody know if this is a problem since the transition? Or even if *gasp* it's been changed this way on purpose?
 
I know there's still big issues -- *cough* KeyQuest, Battledome *cough* -- and some random minor ones like loading Coconut Shy, or user info icons, duplicate items, etc. -- but this was new to me. So if anyone's already addressed this issue, I apologize -- and if so, could you please point me in the right direction?

Eventually, you'll have all three types again, and some spare eggs put away too. I try to always keep a certain amount of each type of nester eggs put back in case I return to a dying Habi. As I build it back up again, I just replace the eggs I used.

I've had to do this after a long absence too. Gather what Mootix eggs you can and put them away. Let them die and then repeat the process with whatever you get next. Eventually, you'll have all three types again, and some spare eggs put away too. I try to always keep a certain amount of each type of nester eggs put back in case I return to a dying Habi. Thanks so much for the advice. I was a bit reluctant to sell anyway... and I DO collect, or try to. I think you're right about trying to get a hold of one again at a later date -- and not be kicking myself for selling it when I had one in the first place.
 
It's worth a lot of NP, and that gave me a reason to pause for a minute and plead my case to you wonderful folks. I didn't realize just how rare it was though. Apparently, this is only the second time it's been awarded. Sounds like reason enough to hold on to it.

Wow.... ten entries for that avatar? I guess I better get busy! And I'm not sure if I got into issue 650.... It just accepted my story for a 'future issue'. If I assume that's the next one, then it will be. *fingers crossed*

I've had this happen to me as well. Especially on the Castle of Eliv Thade. I remember sending in multiple high scores though, so I don't know if that should factor into the delay. They never did use the highest score, but then, I was really only after the trophy anyway. It was difficult to be patient though. It was the first time I had to wait a couple of days for a review. Good luck!

I've been on Neopets for over 7 years, and have to say, while I've never done anything that I thought constitutes my account being frozen, it's still a constant concern that one day it COULD happen.
 
I am so sorry this happened to you. I would be very upset too, and I hope you get it back soon.
 
My question in this regard is this: As a long time user, what kind of information should I be saving offline for my own protection in the event something like this happened? I would want my account back like I had it, so what would they need? Petpage information, stats, items in my closet, habitarium level, trophies and avatars and other collection items I've acquired. What? Does anybody else do this? What information do you save and keep updated?
