Nice, I managed 708 games of YYB this year, I too was kicking myself after a poor performance last AC and seeing the killer prizes that were offered. For some reason I just can't force myself to play much with the supporting games. Not only do they take a number of wins to equal 1 game of YYB, but they're even MORE tedious, imho than YYB is. Like Tug-o-War, MSN is hard on my wrists after a few games. SS is cool because it was the first game with peophins in it, even though you don't play as one. But it's such a slow starting game and takes awhile to get to where you can find a good rhythm, then suddenly it's going at ludicrous speed and game over. If the flow were a bit more steady, I might enjoy that one. SOSD is ok as far as the gameplay, but requires a TON of plays to equal 1 game of YYB, and I frankly find Chias to be pretty gross looking, the close-up of the goal-tender at the end is not something I enjoy seeing.
So I stick to YYB and trying to improve my gpg scoring averages. I also picked up a habit of screenshotting the score screens of YYB games where I score 10 or more points.
According to my records for this year, I scored only 273 games of 10 points or more. I had a LOT of multi-darigan games this year, very annoying!
But the breakdown is...
130 games of 10 points
100 games of 11 points
37 games of 12 points
5 games of 13 points
1 game of 14 points.

Not bad considering how the play and physics have changed since it was converted to HTML5. It's much harder to score now than when it was still Flash. Unfortunately, the game's play and physics feels downgraded since the conversion. I won't know my final GPG average until they let us see our total stats again for this year. I hope I managed to keep it above 10 gpg.

I missed a couple days of play due to having to go out of town for a family reunion, it always happens in June, so I'm always going to miss SOME days of play. 😕

I either have something on like a dvd or something, OR I listen to music while playing. It DOES help the time pass a bit faster.

Well it helps that i am retired and can spend all day playing if i so chose  and i also prefer spending most my time indoors so that helps as well 
i came back to Neo in Sept 2021 so my first AC was in 2022 i got to all star and kinda stopped playing then i saw the prizes and was kinda mad at myself so made sure to play this year as much as possible. I find all 4 games pretty boring to play so i watched tv to help pass the time quicker

Those are epic levels! How do you find the time to play so much and how do you keep yourself from giving up? 😮

well maxed out all games today and ended with rank 45 so not too bad  pretty happy with that

Same goal, just seeing how high I can stand to go. I think today is the last day to play, right? I reached All-Star for the first time in many years. So I'm happy with that, I just hope I can afford some decent prizes from the prize shop this time! Now I just gotta gear up to play today. I'm feeling rather burned out, but I want to play more YYB to get more prize points built up.

I've hit 9, and probably won't go any further. I'm pretty happy with it. When I started, I didn't have any particular level in mind, just as high as I could.

Absolutely! They really are more aggressive. It's so frustrating. 

Is it just me, or is it harder this year to both score, and keep the ball away from opponents? I used to be able to get 9-11 in a good game, but this year it's 6-8. Also, my dumb players keep handing the ball to the keepers! 

I agree i used to score 9-11 and finding i am more in the area of 5-7, the opposite team seems to grab the ball alot more as well and they seem abit more aggressive to me compared to when i played last year

I wish pets like that would be deleted from the game. lol

Nah, it's definitely NOT just you. I posted my thoughts on a NUMBER of differences between Flash and HTML5 versions here, in my Maraqua support topic.
I used to average roughly 12.5 points per game in the last couple Flash ACs. I could score 17 points in the Flash version, but in this one, this year my best is 12 goals so far, got it twice tonight. Last year my best was 14 goals. Has that 1 time, and 13 goals 9 times in 224 games.
I forgot I was screenshotting ALL my scores last year. This year I went back to what I did during the Flash ACs, only scores of 10+ get screenshots. LOL Whoops! XD
Anyway, for a list of changes vs the Flash version I'm not used to yet, check the thread I'm linking to. Not EVERYTHING is there, I forgot about the invisible snow yooyu from last year, but tbh, now that I remember it, it wasn't THAT big of a deal because there's ALWAYS the shadow. Also, the BEST power up in the HTML5 version, I would say is the Goal Extender. The goalie can EASILY catch a yooyu fired from the Growth power-up. The wing's speed is always useful, but not as useful with the goalie's AI improved. Also, the freezing power-up only seems to work maybe half the times I get it. Just some additional thoughts I've had not in my posted topic. 😉
 

It's not just you.
They converted the games from Flash to HTML5 last year and yes they became much harder and more time consuming to play (I couldn't play YYB at all last year, only SLS and SOSD) .. this year I can play YYB but my GPG went down from about 11-12 to 8.5 ... I started the cup really bad with scores of 4 , 5 and 6 but now I can hit 9 and 10 consistently ... so you can become better with some practice 🙂

Usually getting around 10 to 12 goals in a good game here with the occasional 13 goals if lucky. I have been also getting 2 to 3 Darigan Yooyus in a single game fairly often (but not always), but it's mainly the RNG turning against me.
I've posted advice from another user on the Neoboards last year for those who were having trouble scoring goals in HTML5 Yooyuball last year. Disregard tip number 4 in the linked post as it's no longer relevant since the whole Invisible Snow Yooyu ordeal has since then been resolved.

Restocking! Takes a bit to learn what to look out for and takes money to expand your shop to fit more items, but I've made pretty much all of my money this way. I watch TV on the left half of my screen, restock on the right using The Shop Directory with The Item Database in a tab under it. I reference the price estimate to see if an item is worth buying, usually I go for a minimum $1k profit.

Food Club - although not as good for new accounts.
Dailies - Trudy gives increasing amounts up to about 20k for 24 days and 100k on day 25, so worth logging in every day just to do it. Do all your dailies, even the junk ones as junk can be stocked up for Charity Corner. Things like fishing have a small chance of mega buck items at higher levels, but even storing the junk gets you future points. Same with the Money Tree - aim for 2-6 point items if there's nothing decent.
Restocking - pick one or two shops and start learning the items. You can make decent np even on lower end items and mega bucks if you get lucky. I tend to go for 20% profit, but you can figure out what you prefer.
Battledome - You can get codestones to sell from the Koi Warrior or Nerkmids from Jetsam Ace if you are Premium.
Refresh a lot - games like Neoquest or Cellblock or just buying junk for Charity Corner give a lot of refreshes and increase your opportunity for RE's. Most are useless. Some give stat gains, some nominal neopoints. A handful can drop truly valuable items on you.
Events - The Altador Cup is coming up. Take part, get as many points as you can and sell your prizes for decent change. If you can aim for the stamp, that's usually worth a couple of million. Last year I got the top prize (that took real effort though... Double All-Star is not fun and my fingers hurt and I had no life at all outside of the Cup...) and sold it for 16 million. Bought myself a Candychan and banked the rest. Charity Corner made me several million a couple of years ago. 

You can also buy more pet slots now if you have NC. I currently have 15 on my main.
