As mentioned on the guide, play on hard and get all the items except for one. Purposely die. You'll re-start on level 1 but will keep all your previous points!! Just make sure you only go one direction and you should be safe!

I'm pretty sure petpetpets still disappear when you remove a petpet from a pet. Petpetpets also disappear if the petpet gets eaten.

OFF! I hate all game music and sound effects lol I just find them annoying and the annoyingness distracts me. :P I prefer to listen to my own music and do better in games when I do.

The moment I saw the game I just went "Well, so much for my gold trophy, no way am I getting the score..." And then I got 1901 - I don't think I have ever been so proud with myself :D

honestly I would go for AAA but what I suggest you do is play for a while and see if you can beat AAA's score and if you manage to score that high don't send your score right away, open a new tab and go to the Daily Dare Headquarters page and click challenge AAA and then go back to your game screen and send your score.
 
Destruct-O-Match is actually easy. here's my strategy:
1: look for the time block that turns indestructible if its not destroyed in 15 seconds. Find this if there is one and destroy it.
2: look for the 3x bonus and try to save all blocks that color.
3: try to get the shuffle bonus, it comes in handy at the end.
4: start at the top and work your way down.
 
Good luck with AAA, his prizes are worth the extra work in my opinion. Hope this helps. :)

Welcome back to The Daily Neopets’ exclusive coverage of the 2012 Daily Dare. This is Emily reporting live from inside the Games Room. We were lucky enough to receive a message from Lulu early this morning. Unfortunately, she has still not been able to get in touch with King Roo and, last we heard, she was feeling a little motion sick from too many rides on the Roo Island Carousel. All the best goes out to Lulu and we hope she comes back soon.
 
Moving on to today’s challenge, it looks like AAA may have some tricks up his sleeve. His score of 1,547 in Destruct-O-Match III is going to be a tough one to beat. Of course, Abigail has been busy tinkering with her Bit of Evil Clown, something about trying to make it bake cookies, so she only manged a score of 983, reassuring those who’s game skills got a little rusty after the Games Master Challenge earlier this year.
 
What’s that...? Oh, Jerry the Pteri would like me to remind all of you that you have until this Sunday, March 11 at 11:59:59 NST to complete your Team Challenge in order to qualify for the prize this week. You may want to remind your partner as well to make sure your team scores get in on time!
 
Our resident parasite specialist has also asked me to inform our viewers of an unusual infestation of the game room. Purple creatures have been seen sneaking around the new games machinery and, reportedly, giving out prizes when clicked. I am told there is no reason for alarm at this time.

I haven't yet read this thread so most of what I will say here has probably already been covered. Nonetheless, here we go:
 
I don't know why gay marriage has to be differentiated from straight marriage. I think marriage should just be marriage. We don't have gay housing or gay driving tests or gay insurance. Marriage is no longer much of a religious institution - a LOT of people diverge from the usual holy matrimony in a church business - and some people get married without any ceremony whatsoever. Marriage is legal, not religious, and everyone should be subject to the same rights under the law, regardless of their sexual orientation (or race, or religious denomination, or any other trait). I have no idea why people have a problem with others getting married (or doing anything, really) when it doesn't affect their lives in any manner zzzzzzzzzz

I really love it when I see a profile, petpage, or shop, that has its own design. I can't do anything like that, but I do admire that other people can.
 
I also like seeing pets that are customised - painted, clothes, backgrounds, petpets, anything that shows they've thought about it and put some effort into making their pet pretty. Even when I had hardly any neopoints, I always wanted my pets to have a background and a petpet that matched some kind of theme. I think avatar count, galleries, and shop stock is cool... but it doesn't make me go wow like seeing a fancy profile and a dapper looking pet. :)

Despite royal decree against it, AAA re-released the new games room for the beginning of the event. Let's hope King Roo isn?t too displeased and let's also hope that it can hold up to the strain!
 
AAA seems to be giving users a break with a score of only 2,538 required to defeat him in today?s challenge, Snowmuncher! His sister Abigail only requires a score of 1,024. Even I've gotten a higher score than AAA in Snowmuncher before, though I'm not sure how!
 
We were able to reach Dieter for a brief comment. "Remember to buuuurrrrrrrrp," he said, before going back to eating snow.
 
Lulu seems to be running a bit behind and it is currently unknown if she will participate in this year's dare, though several sources have spotted her around the games room.
 
This seemingly easy first challenge raises a bunch of questions: Is AAA easing off Neopians? Is this a glitch caused by the new games room? Or are we getting better? Or is he just trying to lull us into a false sense of security?
 
He was unavailable for comment, muttering about the need for practice.

Glad today's was easy enough. It's been a while since I played Snowmuncher, but all I had to do was die on level 2 a few times by running out of time, and I had the required score.

Finally I made my decision, on this wet and windy Wednesday, whilst stuck inside with a sick 6 yr old and used my FFQ that I got on the Daily Quest thingie on Estalon (kindly donated by an amazing TDN member). I was struggling to choose what to paint him, but my heart kept going back to Zombie <3
 
I think he looks very dashing, but be afraid, he likes to experiment, on anything and everything.... Some say he was the creator of the meepits :O

As a whole, yes, I care. I prefer having pets with pronounceable names without numbers and underscores. I don't see myself as some kind of "name perfectionist," though. I do have avehx, and sometimes I wish the "a" was capitalized. Usually, it doesn't bother me, and I've pretty much stopped noticing.
 
The people who obsess over names in the PC (Pound Chat) can kind of bug me. I've never really understood the huge appeal to the RW (Real Word) pets. People trade amazing pets for them, even Draiks and maybe a UC once in a while. Personally, I'd be more impressed by an expensively-painted pet than one that was just lucky during a name purge.

Sorry for quoting old posts... I think there's some interesting discussion here. I was just a little late getting in on the action. ;) I haven't read the entire discussion, so also apologies for brining up points that may have already been addressed.
 
I'm kind of confused because you seem to contradict yourself - you say that we shouldn't change marriage fundamentally, but also acknowledge that it varies over time.
 
Marriage today is almost nothing like it was originally. It was pretty much to ensure paternity or it was done for some sort of gain (money, property, peace/agreements, etc.). Nowadays marriage is largely focused on love, as "paternal" and "political" issues can be resolved in other ways. Marriage is known to be different things to different cultures and is even different within the same culture at different points in time. Allowing gay marriage to be called "marriage" isn't changing it nearly as drastically as you're making it out to be.
 
I wouldn't be opposed to polygamy, however I am hesitant.
 
To me, polygamy serves the same kind of purpose as "olden day" marriage: for an advantage, not for love. In polygamous polygynous societies, multiple wives is more of a symbol of status or power or had other motivations, and polyandry is exceptionally rare. I feel like it's less realistic to implement, or would fundamentally change the idea of what we currently think of as marriage - much more so than gay marriage. I'm not saying that one culture is necessarily more right or that polygamy couldn't work, but I feel like it's a distinct issue to gay marriage (to a degree).
 
But your basis for saying that they weren't the same is that they cannot have children. By that definition, infertile heterosexual couples would be more similar to gay couples and not worthy of the term 'marriage'. It's okay to acknowledge differences, but to pull from your example about identifying races not being racism:
It's okay to identify an Asian person as Asian, but they're still a person. It's okay to say 'gay marriage', and identify it as such, but it's still marriage.

I'd just like to point out a few "issues" I have with your modified analogy and comments.
 
A) Women and men who are infertile, too old, or otherwise can't/won't have children would then have to be considered part of group A on the "bus" going to the barren mountainside. These people are also "unequal," and yet they are not segregated. Why should it be any different for two men or two women. (Gay couples, by the way, have a myriad of options which would allow them to have a child. Namely: adoption, artificial insemination for women, and surrogate mothers for men).
 
b) I agree with you on this point: "In my humble opinion, describing someone as white or black or blond or asian or gay or straight isn't racism." But that doesn't extend to how one should be treated. Yes, a gay couple is different from a heterosexual couple. Yes, it's okay to notice. Yes, it's okay to talk about it (in fact, I think this should be encouraged!). The problem arises when rights are stripped away from people for being different. You wouldn't tell a woman who's had a hysterectomy that she can't get married and that she'll have to settle for a civil union, simply because she lacks the ability to have children. This idea is as preposterous as denying gay couples marriage.

So i was doing my uni work and figured i needed a break and neopets had just started working properly so i thought i'd take a break and try doing some restocking now usually i only manage to get novas and tears of wf which arn't really that valuable and thanks to the timers being out of whack the shops were restocking alot so lots of mps kept appearing but i kept missing them being too slow and seen as i was in the magic shop the mega restockers were beating me to them all btu i finally managed to get one and i can't believe it.
 
It's a water kyrii morphing potion i don't know how much its worth but i know its alot because its a water mp which are very popular.

Huh. I really cannot see what was so inflammatory about Alice's post. All she did was point out that some of your arguments are offensive--which they are. Pointing that out is not offensive in the least, unless you're offended by the thought that you can't just say whatever you like without being called out on it. You're not the only one allowed free speech on the internet, you know. Whereas "Get off my back lady" is actually inflammatory.
 
However...I re-read what you said on the 14th. I read it through about ten times to see what your "strong point" might be. And I have to say, I can't find it. The only thing you said, really, was "it wouldn't take away rights; they'd have the same rights, just different names." You can't truthfully say that nobody has addressed that. I addressed it personally several times. I gave you an article that PROVED it doesn't have same rights even when written into the law. And everyone else has talked about how the name is a right in itself.
 
We talked about "separate but equal." We talked about how that leads to one group being considered lesser--even if you personally don't consider gay people to be lesser, the group is singled out to be different, and the fact that they are apparently not worthy of the title of "marriage" ingrains it in people's minds that they are inferior. If even one gay person wants the title of marriage, then that person is denied that title by the law not allowing them. Your argument is that it doesn't harm gay people to have a different title--gay people will tell you it does.

Hmm. Does this look too chaotic? (Ignoring my expensive tastes. XD)
