OH!! Now if they're banana, and not weirdly piped cream, then that makes ALL the difference!2 points -

Thank you! I'm glad it's not just me who has this problem now, I wonder what causes it. I too am loving the chocolate 'hog's spiffy 'do, and the tail. The tusks are piped too, I see, but it only kinda-sorta works for them, I think. The outfit's cute, it confuses me a bit though; like it's kinda fancy, doesn't seem to fit the name of Wanderer. The way the cowl partially covers the eyes creates a bashful look which is pretty endearing though, but again doesn't really fit with the fancy togs. Maybe this wanderer pinched these clothes from some nobleman's washing line? xD2 points -

I thought that the tusks looked weird as well, but looking at them as banana for sure makes a lot more sense!1 point -
Not a big fan of the tone they used for the nose/inside of ears. I guess it's supposed to be some pink frosting, but it just looks fleshy to me. The outfit's nice though, very pretty colours and I dig how the hood has holes for the ears and mohawk! Also, I'm having a dumb moment, but I can't figure out what colour pet is modeling the outfit? Royal girl moehog looks close, but not quite the same...1 point

I think they're relatively new, I know I've used the Lost Desert one earlier in the year to get to Sakhmet Solitaire, but I've not visited the others so I couldn't say.1 point -
I love the chocolate Moehog's look! The whipped cream mane looks like a cute little pompadour.1 point

I really like the chocolate one! I rarely see a chocolate pet that doesn't look good, and this one really looks delicious with all that frosting! I also think the outfit is good, the colors aren't overwhelming and the detail is simple yet pretty. A really good day for Moehogs!1 point -
The Lab Rays: What happened today?
berriganify reacted to e_c for a topic
That's why I've set up the ray on my side-account... so I don't accidentally zap my only UC into a Yellow Tuskaninny! Only random pound adoptees on there, so I'm not gonna be devastated if the wrong one gets a colour change. Anyway had a boring zap today so I didn't take a screenshot, think it was like +2 movement or something.1 point -

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH so i moved a pet over to my main today, which messed up the order of my pets in the lab ray. instead of zapping movario, i zapped gloomstalker, my stealthy vandagyre. and i am SO LUCKY because this is what happened: that's it. that's all my rng used up, for the rest of my life.1 point -

My husband and I lost a very dear friend and neighbor this week. He died of Stage IV Pancreatic cancer at the age of 58 after a very short four month battle. The thing is only four people in this world knew that he had this horrible disease. He was very sick and in a lot of pain but he hid it. He didn't want people to be worried about him. He didn't want people to be sad. Whenever we asked, he had a little medical "thing" but it wasn't a big deal. That was how he was - generous and always making sure other people were taken care of. We didn't know he was as sick as he was. He died of sepsis after only two chemo treatments. It was a shock. We had waved hello to him just two days before. He smiled and waved back. We never saw him again. I'm comforted by the fact that he did have his best friend and his BF's wife with him until the end. It wasn't uncommon for them to travel down to where we live and stay for 6 months at a time, so that wasn't even a clue. We lived next door to him for over 15 years. He was the neighborhood "safe house" for our boys. We bonded over our mutual love of Halloween (the holiday). He would start planning on Nov 1st and start building 2 to 3 months ahead of Halloween. He would put up a different theme every year. He had turned his front yard into a cornfield, a graveyard and other spooky settings. He and his friends would hang out and scare all the neighborhood kids (and a few adults). Our youngest was finally at the point where he was done with trick 'r treating and we were looking forward to helping him with this year's haunt. In a flash, he was gone. I'm not posting this for sympathy. You don't always know what is going on in other people's lives - especially if they are going everything in their power to hide it from you. Life can change in a moment and someone that you love and care about can be gone. So remember to them you love them. Pick up the phone and call, because "tomorrow" might not come.0 points
