Ugh man, I feel that! I've had the same problem for the last couple days with Jetsam Ace... Nerkmids and codestones are pretty much my only sources of income, so it really sucks to get NOTHING from a day or two of battling. ?

I just got the Forgotten Shore one. It didn’t take that long either. Lately I’ve been getting barely anything from the Forgotten Shore. I’m surprised I was even able to get this avatar today.
I seem to not be able to get the Mutant Graveyard of Doom one yet. I’ve refreshed HUNDREDS of times (I’m not even exaggerating) and I still haven’t got it. I just have to keep trying and I will eventually get it. I just hope it’s soon.

Hi everyone! You don't see me much. I'm quiet during the days because of work, but I do the crossword/puzzle in the mornings. But hi! Nice to meet y'all! I've been playing Neopets actively since 1999. My active neopet is 15 or 16 years old.

I'm in the path of Hurricane Florence, and they're starting to talk evacuations (not just preparedness) even though we're inland. And I'm nervous about it. My husband and I have four cats and a toddler, which would be hard to move if we had to (although we absolutely would). I've remember Hugo and Fran where I was, and while they were bad, they weren't hurricanes anymore by the time they got to me. But this one might be. We live on a hill, so I'm less worried about flooding than I am about pine trees falling.
Anyone else worrying right now?

No, I agree! Those flowers look too spring to work well in this scene... but will maybe be useful after winter is over

This is the cutest fall look I've ever seen! The flowers work really well to cover the pumpkins, I honestly didn't even notice them until you mentioned it.

Bought a new background today and I'm really pleased with the cosy seasonal look I've been able to create. ?

I struggle with seasonal customisation stuff because it's invariably TOO seasonal for me, TNT seem to just LOVE stuffing holiday items into backgrounds and thus making them hard to use IMO. This b/g being a good example because of the pumpkins, and not just pumpkins but jack-o-lanterns, but the flowers partially cover them so I'm cool with that.
Really I wanted to use the Buzzer abode because that looks adorable, but the pumpkins are too in my face using that, lol.

I healed my Jetsam, attached some weapons, defeated the Chia Clown... and got the avatar!! I don't know if the needing to win requirement is new (new relative to when TDN and JN put together their avatar lists, at least) or what, but!

I spin the Wheel of Monotony every day, if I remember to.
I got the avatar ages ago (incidentally once you've GOT the avatar the wheel positively delights in rewarding it to you again, over and over again ?) but I stick with it because for just 150 you can win numerous r.90+ items - the foods you win are most likely to be r.99 - codestones, paintbrushes, rare weapons, 5k np, 20k np...
So you might end up paying 50np over normal price for a lottery ticket, a couple of the results reduce your pet's hp, and a couple do nothing at all, but apart from that it's well worth spinning IMO.
 
But what's this that's my fault?
 
Poor Wheel... I've been getting SO annoyed with it when I go back to that tab to see if it's stopped yet and it's telling me I don't have enough money to spin it, and I have to start again... many rude words issuing from my  mouth, I can tell you. But NOW I find out that that happens when you have no NP on-hand. It's my fault because I've put all my cash in the bank while the wheel is spinning... oops‼
Sorry Wheel! Please forgive me for all the rude things I've called you. Maybe that's why it's been punishing me by giving me the avatar repeatedly again...
