I just need to complain for a moment. I trained my main pet in the pirate academy up to level 40, so that she'd be safe from a level reset from the lab ray.
 
Then for some reason I put her into the Mystery Island Training School.
 
Now, two months later, the lab ray made her lose two levels. So I toddle off to the pirate academy(because I have an abundance of dubloons) only to be told she's enrolled in MITS.
 
And the payment they want is 1xMain Codestone(which I have) and TWO Eo Codestones.ONLY THE MOST EXPENSIVE OF THE BASIC CODESTONES, SO OBVIOUSLY THEY WANT TWO. GRRRRRR.
 
Oh, and I refer to her as a 'her', because she was a female, and was zapped male, but I still consider her to be a 'her'...just waiting for him to zap her back :)
 
I'm just irritated.

I`d be annoyed too, so you have a good grouse!
 
Same thing happened with two of my fosterlings - went for training at the Academy only to find they`d been enrolled in the MITS requiring a 4k codestone.
 
But, can someone tell me why anyone would choose expensive codestone training instead of the much cheaper dubloon version for pets under level 40?? Doesn`t make sense unless I`m missing something here?

It takes longer with dubloons doesn't it? I think by the time I'd realised you could train there my pet was already above 40.
 
I once got asked for 3 Eo codestones along with 3 others which took a large chunk of my daily limit.

I made the mistake of training all of my pet's stats to the same point, so I really just wasted a lot of time and money instead of raising each stat incrementally. I've found that a daily visit to the battledome for 10 or so fights does well to reward the necessary amount of codestones for mystery island training, so hopefully that can help you a little.

I've won codestones from Chia Clown before, so it can be done!

It's been a while since I've been poor >_> I think I once only had about 400k when I returned to Neopets, but after that I have been in the habit of saving and hoarding items so even when I was off buying things I still keep a good amount of NP in my bank because I suffer from separation anxiety :P

I now officially hate the word OF. I shall never use it again in my entire life. XD

This happened a few days ago but, the interest that I make from the bank has gone over 1000NP!! Back when I started playing, I never thought that I'd ever be rich enough, haha!

Truth is, I was nervous to uninstall and reinstall because it's my boyfriend's laptop and I had this totally irrational fear that something would go wrong and he'd find out and...be mad? Even though he's the sweetest person on Earth and he would, in reality, not have minded at all.....

How on earth do you have the patience? I got to rank 1, just for the avatar, and then I was so relieved to be able to stop playing, lol. I suppose it must be easier if you're proficient at YYB, because then you can play a lot less games before ranking up(?)...all I played was SS(67 times). I honestly can't even imagine playing ANY of the games more than a thousand times, or even more than 100 times, gosh!

I suppose they must be too busy recovering from the Neopocalypse over the weekend to put in the amount of effort required to release the standard two colours and another something or two..

When changing species, it always changes to a basic color first, then it can change to other colors within that species.

Did anyone else insist on spending every single one of their points? I bought 6 Crumpled Gift Wraps and I'm not entirely sure why.
