I haven't gone to Bart/ apple-bobbing at all bc I carry 300 in Dubloons-trying to "catch" the Pirates at Smugglers' Cove to buy a weapon...which hasn't happened yet.

I have so many superstitions around Bart, lol.
I try to make a point of visiting him before doing anything else, because I just KNOW he'll either take some of my NP or an item if I don't. Sometimes I try to fob him off with a chunk of obsidian (if only I had as much obsidian in Minecraft as I do on Neopets ?) in the hope that he'll take that if it's there, rather than anything else, like making my pet sick. I always wonder if apple bobbing with no NP on-hand won't actually stop NP from dropping out of my pocket, I'll just end up going into negatives (I imagine him cackling madly if that happened). Of course none of my elaborate preparations make a whit of difference, but they kind of make me feel better. ☺️

Oh, I have a ton of those! Although to be fair I'm fairly superstitious in every aspect of my life. Like if I close my eyes and let my mouse "guide" or "sense" to the right spot on buried treasure, lottery tickets, or keno type things.
I also can almost swear I know when I'm not going to receive anything from a daily or get something really great (tombola, coltzan, grundo, etc.). It's probably all in my head, but then isn't everything all in our heads? ?

I won't go to the snowager within the first or last 15 minutes it's sleeping...

I was a bit nervous about her account info being shared as well. I've chatted with her and she seems ok with it though. I met my wife through another woman I met in an online game as well. It's amazing how common these stories are becoming!

I was sorting my neopets collection when I realised I dont know many people irl or online who collect as obsessively as I do. If you're a collector, keep reading, this may interest you ;D
I hadn't seen anything similar done before, so I decided earlier that I wanted to make a facebook group for Neopets plushie, figurines, card, etc collectors to post and talk about their collections, but also most importantly focus on the ability to trade, sell and buy from others.

What do people think?

I can't be the only macdonald's toys collector who has wound up with heaps of doubles and is looking for a way to get rid of them. I thought starting a online trading community would be awesome.
I've already thought about the risk and repercussions that selling and trading online has, but I guess it just boils down to all members being honest and using legitimate/trusted ways of trading/selling. (Like always using tracking numbers on your parcels, paying with paypal, ebay etc.)

I started wearing makeup when I was in eighth grade. I think 14 and up makeup should be allowed. One of my reasons behind this is what if the teen has acne? Would the parents rather let them wear concealer or let them be called names like pizza face? I know, I know the whole beauty comes from within thing is important but come on! Or what about if they have a unibrow and the mom says "your eyebrows are beautiful" and doesn't let them wax?
Basically, that's setting the kid up for bullying and depression. If I was a mom and saw my kid go through what I went through in school I'd let her wear what makeup I wear. That's the fair thing to do.

They just have to be a bunch of things, there's no indication of unique things.

I'm a stay at home mom but one child is at college and the other finishing high school (both still have accounts here but I play the most!). I'm also a professional writer of romances but I'm addicted to Neopets, heh.

I'm also a stay at home Mom. My oldest will be 6 next month and starting grade 1, my middle is 3 and my youngest is 3 months old. If I could work instead of my husband I would, but I wouldn't be able to bring in the kind of money he does. Plus he doesn't have the goods to feed our 3 month old.
 

Hi! I'm getting back on Neopets after a long hiatus. More, like on off on off... And now that I'm staying at home taking care of my daughter, I've got some time in between naps for neopets! Anyone else?
