Obelisk guild's going for Awakened this time around!

Once you've got the avie this wheel positively delights in you landing on it again, and again, and again... close to weekly tbh. x'D

The ray is fired at Burfin... ... and he loses 2 defence points!!!! Nothing looks different about Lunch but you can sense something happened. It becomes evident later when it tries to climb a tree but breaks off the branch instead. The ray has increased its level to: 5

The ray is fired at Burfin... ... and he goes down to level 1 Your eyes recover quite quickly after the giant explosion, but that's more than you can say for your Petpet. The Kookith is kind enough to sweep up Lunch for you and you head home. Cute l'il Hasee dint last long! x'D

Some of the pets just don't have a sad-after-a-zap image. I'm always surprised when mine do to be honest. Grasse_ being a less common colour they're one of the many whose artwork never got drawn I guess. The ray is fired at Burfin... ... and he gains 2 defence points!!!! Whoa... did it actually work? Sure looks like it. Your Petpet has been transformed. Imagine that. CUTE!!!

Returning after a long hiatus!
jellysundae replied to Ashley Rose's topic in Introductions & Welcome
Welcome back! How cute to make an account for your daughter! :3 Yeah, really hoping there'll be more games converted soon! Some more stuff popping up when the Festival of Neggs starts would be nice. -
So happy the surgery went well! I don't suppose cats learn the way babies do to not eat things they shouldn't! Good luck with tracking down of anything else.

Hahaha, Neo's always been a great source of irony. x'D

It certainly is! The ray is fired at Burfin... ... and he loses 2 defence points!!!! Gettin' very tired of Burfin being a Buzz! Gettin' awfully tempted to use my premium free species change. Nothing looks different about Lunch but you can sense something happened. It becomes evident later when it tries to climb a tree but breaks off the branch instead. The ray has increased its level to: 4

Ooh! You guys posting in here has done some reminding for me, too! Thank you! I'm now continuing on my Cellblock Quest! I can NOT play this game, my poor brain just can't do it, but that doesn't matter, does it! JN says the avie's awarded after 300 games; win, draw or lose, and I can lose like a champ! I can consistently lose in 3 moves. Oh shucks, did I lose again!! How embarrassing, where do I put my face! What's funny is that the game seems to get so annoyed with my ineptitude that it forces me to win sometimes, so I'm progressing through the challengers, despite being completely and utterly useless.

The ray is fired at Burfin... ... and he gains 3 maximum hit points!!!! Your eyes recover quite quickly after the giant explosion, but that's more than you can say for your Petpet. The Kookith is kind enough to sweep up Lunch for you and you head home.

The ray is fired at Burfin... ... and he gains 3 movement points!!!! The ray produces a giant flash of light, but Lunch doesn't look any different. When it can't even climb the Multi-level Scratching Post you bought it, you realize that malfunctioning lab ray actually decreased its level to: 3

Neopets taking me back to primary school!
jellysundae replied to jellysundae's topic in General Chat
I'm jealous! I wonder if my basic dislike stemmed from the rather toxic shaming habits of British schools at that point. Far more likely to be told off for not being good enough, rather than encouraged. Gotta say I enjoyed the volleyball we learnt at my second secondary school, that was what we played on wet days and in the winter, a VAST improvement on the hockey at the first school, I detested that. Mostly because it was only played in the winter; nothing quite like being stuck outside in a little gym skirt and t-shirt, having to run around on rutted and frozen solid mud... All character-building, right?! @Angeló saying about basketball reminds me of them trying to teach us that, oh my the confusion that ensued. x'D For girls who'd spent years playing netball, basketball was just so wrong, like: WHAT? You run with the ball?! But that's not allowed! We used to do this run, it was kind of exciting as we got to leave the school, oh my gosh!! x'D I shall draw the route for you! That long bit's along a narrow footpath on the bank of the river - a river that's a foot deep at best and a good pole vaulter could clear with ease - no worries about anyone falling in. x'D The crossed out part before we got back onto that path didn't exist at that point, the bigger bit was a field, and the smaller a little bit of woodland. Oh and who's ahead of me with guessing what some people thought was a good idea... Yup, takin' a cheeky shortcut through the allotments? You betcha! And was there a teacher lurking on the far side of 'em? That'd be a yes too. -
!!!!! Of course it is! I went looking for Wallace quotes, but got side-tracked by this. x'D

I've just answered the Daily Puzzle and I spotted the March artwork on the calendar... !!!!!!! They COMBINED the sack race with the egg and spoon race?! What kind of monsters were Adam and Donna?! I always hated sports day as I was never the fastest runner, and I'm completely non-competitive, the very thought of those two horrors melded into one is making me want to go hide in the girls' toilets. Are those of you who are not Brits wondering what I'm on about, or are these kind of races held in your country too? What sports did you do at school? I was universally meh at all sports, apart from tennis, and the javelin, I enjoyed that and was quite good at it. I like me a nice big pokey stick! But they didn't do it at the new school I went to after we moved, so no more of that, just netball and rounders, and like so many girls I don't think I ever managed to hit the ball in rounders... Did you like sports at school?

Waiting for the Negg Festival and Faerie Quests
jellysundae replied to jennoying_sparkle's topic in Neopets General Chat
OH!!! Yeah now I'd not thought of his shop till, so unless the character limit doesn't allow it that means you could, theoretically, max out at 3 x 2,147,483,647 NP... @___@ -

Good point! So even less of a big deal when you have 2 billion in the bank! Yeah this RE is the best NP sink ever. I know I'm intending to try for a trophy one day. Me on the first of some upcoming month: -

Gotta admit, the massive irony of the situation really amused me. x'D I suspect it went over the heads of a lot of the hugely entitled though, sadly. HA, I can think of someone who probably definitely complained... the person who made a board recently complaining about losing millions to an angry tax beast RE as they'd had a big amount of NP on hand. And why did they have so much on hand? Wait for it, wait for it.... Because... THEIR. BANK. IS. FULL. Their flippin' bank is bloomin' well full, do you know how much that is?! It's the computing magic number of 2,147,483,647 - the 32 bit integer max (please don't think I know what I'm talking about because I typed those words ) 2,147,483,647 NP That's 2.147 BILLION, and they're complaining about losing a few million, and wanting to know if they can hit TNT up for a refund... Ok ok, I've dug the board out and it was 200 mill they lost, but that's still pocket change compared to what they've got. At the time I commented to fellow ninjas that it was like Jeff Bezos getting mad when he discovered he'd left a $50 bill in his pocket and it had gone through the wash. If there was an entitlement trophy that guy would definitely win it. Some people on that board did call him out on his grasping attitude, but only a small percentage, which was sad to see. I need to go do something nice now, remembering about this guy has got me riled up. x'D -
The ray is fired at Burfin... ... and he gains 2 movement points!!!! Snarkie shall now be known as Lunch. How nice.

Waiting for the Negg Festival and Faerie Quests
jellysundae replied to jennoying_sparkle's topic in Neopets General Chat
Nah, the one in the autumn fools people every year because we all confuse it with the quest event. x'D but it's basically nothing at all, kinda like the Winter Starlight stuff in December? It wouldn't be such a bad thing if they did merge the two, I think, but only because the autumn one's basically a waste of time, I don't think it'd be beneficial to lose the Spring event though. *looks at last sentence* that's a large bit of euphemism from me there! xD Looking on JN, the Faerie Festival seems to have only had participatory elements once? https://www.jellyneo.net/?go=faeriefest09 I wonder what they're doing to the quest event for it not to be able to run at its usual time. @_@ Ah, maybe it's because pop up stuff, like faerie quests, isn't working yet on the converted pages... Let's not forget the hot mess that last year's was, too! where they'd clearly tweaked things and everyone was getting multiple FFQs, so much so that people were complaining about it because of all the stat increases they were missing out on. That's Neopians for ya! -
@hrtbrk I couldn't agree more! That's a fantastic outfit, I love the way the hood fits, and can we just have a moment to especially appreciate that cute l'il kiss curl? That mosaic though... *chef's kiss* I'm finding it really visually pleasing, it's not as loud as some of the other busier mosiac pets. Interesting seeing the difference in colour saturation between 'em, isn't it! That Yurble surely wins the prize for the hardest pet to customise, EVER. This is the first time the tile placement seems to be intentionally mimicing armor, I rather like that.
-
So mostly this is fixed, that's interesting. If it now does only happen when the clocks go forward (two people being kinda sorta sure that's the case totally makes it fact!) and if you miss a day now but it doesn't completely reset, then that's a vast improvement. Let's see what happens next spring!
