Conversely I've done better today, just done maxing yyb, and I might play another game or two of yyb yet I've not kept count of how many games I've played today, nowhere near maxing, but pretty sure it's over 20, and seeing as I could barely manage 1 a few days ago that's pretty good.

I need to play 12 games of yyb to be able to rank up by maxing sosd, so a quarter of the way through my first goal. ^.^;; I wonder why people are struggling THAT much with yyb. o.o There's no way I can play msn, it would destroy my cheaply constructed laptop, and I have zero ability for time-management games. Mine slunk away a few days ago xD Mostly because I'm doing seriously badly at yyb, I'm finding it really hard to do better than 8-2, plus having hit rank 12 I can no longer rank up in a day by maxing out sosd and then topping up with minimal yyb, and because my yyb game's so bad I don't really want to be playing it at all. ^o^;;

SOTAC is a group of roving all-star players - the Secret Order of The Altador Cup. The hubris of that name might give you a little idea about the issue with them >.<;; They choose a team to play for each year, and that's basically the team that's gonna win. I've always dreaded them choosing Shenkuu because the victory we gained would be so hollow, but because of this previous drama it's hopeful that Shenkuu's blacklisted forever in SOTAC's eyes. xD What I didn't realise was a wider-reaching impact SOTAC has, they recruit all the best players they can from all teams - sending NMs to double/triple/quad all-stars hoping to lure them away from their own team; thus weakening all teams. : / SOTAC's said to be with Meridell this year, hence them being in the lead...

Yes indeed! Many people mourn the loss of the original incarnation of CC; with gaining a different item for donating five of yours and I did enjoy that, but I like the year-long benefits of the stocks and banks perks more. Those two perks in particular will hopefully remain always, but it's rather fun seeing what others they dream up.

If you want to reassure yourself, just play a game of sosd and see if your count increases. It'll only take the one so just a few seconds of your life lost. Just play 3 of any game today for the NP.

@Secre here you go https://items.jellyneo.net/mywishes/jellysundae/ They're sorted by CC points to make things as easy as possible. @berriganify I guess with them starting the year-long perks they basically forced the event to be at a different time each year. Spring definitely is the most apt time, but then the second one I participated in (which was the last one with the original format) was in Autumn, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Maybe it more that we, as a whole, just feel it should be a Spring event because of the clearing out aspect, lol. There's definitely more time available during the summer though.

Ah, this isn't AC history, as in neopets history, but drama on the boards involving SOTAC. ^o^;; I learned that I probably don't have to worry about Shenkuu EVER being picked by SOTAC after what happened the first time they were many years ago. A clash of agendas, and personalities, of epic proportions.

Good luck with this! I'm still convinced Moltara must have less players than all the other teams as they're a younger team so will always have struggled against those already established with loyal players. I wonder what TNT did at their introduction to try and help with that, if anything. Was anyone around at the time and can shed any light?

I've done the same as last year; given one new player a chance in the first round. I've picked Gutterfoot because pink hair. B) I usually choose Ehlo Froyo as goalie, but she didn't do quite so well last year. I'm hoping Raven does well and I can switch her out with Scrappy, simply because I don't like Scrappy xD Though gotta admit, she's not so annoying now that she's not doing NT stuff so is out of our faces. xD Ideally I'd like an all-girl team, but I'd also like the best chance at good points... Agog's pretty good... do I switch... CAN'T DECIDE!
