If you changed the password, does that mean you can still access the account? If so, you should be able to have the current pin send to you (which can be done using the link at the bottom of the pin preferences page, where there's also a link to change the e-mail address associated with the account). I would also assume that whomever has been using your account can't access it anymore now that you've changed the password. *Edit: having read the page where you can change your e-mail address more carefully, I realise I have to enter my pin to change my e-mail address. Are you stuck in a Catch-22 situation where you have to change your e-mail to get your pin, but have to enter your pin to change your e-mail address? ?

(I'm sure a lot of perks are working just fine right now, but I always wait a while before activating any perks, both because I want to know all the glitches first, and because I take forever making decisions. XD) But my problem is not with this year's perks, but last year's. ? (I still had about 11 months left on my 2018 CC bank bribery perk, but it's gone. I've already found some people on the neoboards with the same problem.)

I think I'll wait with buying perks until all the glitches have been identified. (But maybe not as long as I did last year, because I got the 'bank bribery' perk right before last year's shop closed, and it stopped working once the new perk shop opened. (Even though the description says it'll be active for a year, not "until next year's perks are activated".) I've already sent in a ticket about it, but we all know how many tickets go unanswered. XD)

Lol, I can definitely relate to that feeling! I didn't really mind TM doing poorly the first few years I played - I like being the underdog. I think we got another (smaller) ASG or ACG (I genuinely can't remember ?) a few years ago, so I'd hoped we'd be free of them for a while. XD Here's to hoping they'll stay away from Shenkuu!

True, although I have to admit that looking at the scores/brackets sometimes, I can't help but wonder how on earth they're determined. ? Anyway, this, in combination with the ASGs and ACGs, is why I don't really care about the teams standings. I have no idea how they're determined, and being helped by a group who randomly picks a team every year kind of takes the fun out of winning for me.

It sometimes takes a while for prize shops to open (especially with another event (the Altador Cup) going on at the same time). Once it does open, it'll probably be open for about a year (until right before the next Charity Corner), so you definitely didn't miss your chance to collect your perks. Don't worry, there will be posts on here as well once the shop opens and people are collecting their perks, so you won't miss it. *Edit: I just read on JellyNeo that the perks shop has been open, but has closed again, because the perks aren't working correctly at the moment. (My bank bribery perk from last year's CC (which I only activated a few days before this year's CC started, and which is supposed to last for a whole year) has suddenly stopped working as well, so I'm guessing that's related to this issue.)

It seems like no one really knows exactly how those points work. It probably has to do with the size of the team, the amount of scores sent in, and the quality of the scores sent in (higher scores are said to help in making your team win), but I don't think TNT has ever really commented on the exact process of determining scores. One note on our win though: it appears Terror Mountain got stuck with SOTAC this year. (In case you've never heard of them: SOTAC is an "All Star Group" (ASG), meaning they're a group comprised of players who always make All Star and who all band together and pick a team each year.) This year they picked us. I think they might've started with these kind of groups to even out the effects of the "All Cheater Group(s)" (ACG), but personally, I'm not a fan, as it just leaves all the teams without an ASG or ACG without a chance of winning. ?

Yeah, pretty much, I think. They obviously want everybody to know how good they are (while keeping the air of "mystery" by being a "Secret Order"...), and they probably think a lot of people actually like having them on their team. (I'm so glad that winning/losing the Cup only affects the shape of your trophy, and pretty much nothing else.)

You can also use this petpage, which, in addition to telling you the amount of games needed for each rank, will also tell you how many prize points come with each rank. Ughh, really? I mean, I know "we" (as in, Terror Mountain) were bound to get stuck with them at some point, but I was really hoping they would just... stop? The whole "All Star Group" concept is so annoying. (Better than the cheater groups, but still.)

Hi guys, a little update: I've had a super long day and I'm a little too tired to put up the thread today. (Pretty sure I'd mix up titles, links and stories. I'm going to stay loyal to Team Terror Mountain. Some "warnings" for those first-timers ?: - You'll get very, very frustrated with all of the games. (The Jelly Chia's grin will haunt you.) - The brackets make no sense. (So while cheering for your team and trying your best is definitely a good thing, don't be too disappointed if your team doesn't do well. Your prizes will be based on your individual scores anyway.) - Just reaching the highest rank (All-Star), usually isn't enough to be able to afford the most expensive things in the prize shop. (I really wish they'd change that.) This petpage will probably be available again soon to use to track your rank, and see how many prize points that rank will grant you. (You can check last year's prizes here, to see how expensive the top ones usually are.) - Stay off the neoboards if you want to maintain your sanity. - If Make Some Noise is giving you trouble (as in, it's lagging a lot), try playing the low resolution version. (I have to play this version if I want to get the qualifying score.) - Each game has a minimum score you have to reach for it to qualify towards moving up in rank. You can check out last year's minimum scores here. - Always participate in the Staff Tournament - it's an easy way to get prizes. - Seriously though, don't visit the neoboards. (Unless you love drama, because then they'll be the perfect place for you to hang out. ? )

I interpreted it as "being twice as likely" to get it; so if you'd usually have a 0.5% chance of getting it, you'd have 1% chance of getting it now. But I might be wrong. (I'm considering getting this perk, as I'm getting frustrated with that stupid Lever of Doom, but I'll wait a while before picking perks like this, to see what other people's experiences are.) @Robin Hood Just so you know, this event has been known to change quite a bit over the years, so there's no guarantee it'll be the same next time. (Not that you shouldn't prepare, if you want to, but it's a good thing to remember there might be different requirements next time around, to prevent disappointment.)

I don't know what dictionary you've been reading, but that is not what the words 'nerd' and 'geek' mean at all! I think a 'nerd' would be best described as someone who loves studying all kinds of topics, and a 'geek' as someone who loves a specific topic in particular (which can be something scholarly, but it can also be a television series, or a comic book series). But being a nerd or a geek says nothing about whether you are a good person. It's just something used to describe your interests, not your entire personality! So of course I care about my family and my friends (they wouldn't be my friends if I didn't care about them)! And I definitely don't want to insult others based on their intelligence or their hobbies or anything. Yes, you can call me Nielo. And everybody's welcome here, we've got people from all over the world on here; we wouldn't discriminate against you based on where you're from! Your English is already pretty good, but posting on message boards is actually a great way to improve it! Just interacting with people from all over the world, reading their posts, has helped me a lot to improve my English over the years.

While I'm not American (I live in The Netherlands), I do think there are some differences in how the West and the East view scholars. They're probably treated better in China, but while I think it's true nerdy kids might get bullied in school, being nerdy is seen as a good thing more and more often these days, and I don't think scholars have a bad reputation at all. But even if some people don't like nerds, or even bully them, that doesn't mean being a nerd is a bad thing! That just means the people who bully nerds are mean, and they are the problem, not nerds. So if the Seekers are nerds, that's not a bad thing at all! Being a nerd just means being really into studying, it doesn't mean you can't also be funny and kind and brave. I think each person has a different definition of what's "cool". I personally think the Seekers are pretty cool, but I'm probably also a nerd. And a geek.

B-but we were done... ? That's what I'm going to do too (although I think I'll stick to 10 points a day), just in case.

I think the art of the wheel was actually revamped quite recently? (My definition of "recently" might be a bit off though: JN mentions Faerieland getting a revamp in 2009...)

I don't think there's a way to gift someone boxes (I would if I could, because I have tons of them and don't really use them at all.) I occasionally use Chrome for Neopets (mostly when I do stuff on my side accounts), but I just checked my settings, and I have pop-ups and redirects blocked as well, yet I have no issue getting the pop-up to open as a pop-up, instead of a tab. ?

Yeah, that'd probably kill the toaster. XD Grilling them does sound good, but also like waaaaay too much effort. I'm lazy & they taste good cold too. (The best stroopwafels can usually be found at market stalls where they're freshly made though. ?)
