Current theme: Daily Dare Description: The Daily Dare is coming up - show us what AAA (a Yellow Blumaroo), Abigail (a Blue Aisha), Lulu (a Red Cybunny) and Chadley (a Green Zafara) are up to. As far as I know (I haven't actually tried to get the Robot avie yet), you need to have Petpet that's been painted with a Robot Petpet paint brush attached to your active Neopet, and then you have to view the look-up of the Robot Vandgyre.

Probably because she was chosen as star player because... most people chose her as star player, so there's bound to be a ton of her keyrings out there.

I think there might be, but I've never had the patience to check. (There is a difference in speed depending on which table you serve the slushie to. The table in the back is shorter, which should be perspective, but does in fact mean that the empty slushie cup that's send back to you will be at the end of the table faster than the one on the table closest to you, even if they were discarded at the exact same time.) (And I think the most goals I ever managed to score in one match, is 14.)

I think there is something like a "keep team" button, right below your current team? I don't really remember the exact name of the button, but you definitely don't have to drop and re-select players.

They are extremely rare, so getting 3 in a year means you've had a lot of luck! (I've had 3 in the past 15 years, with the help of the faerie quest event & cookies.)

Another Oil Paint pet has been added (the Quiggle), but DTI doesn't seem to have added them as a customisation option yet. If they do so before Monday, anyone still looking to enter can of course use this pet as well.

It's very annoying, but yes, some of the random events either do nothing or have a negative effect. JellyNeo has a list of possible random events in their Perk Shop Guide. (Things like this are why I usually wait a few weeks (or months, because I'll forget) before choosing perks/prizes. You never quite know if you'll get what TNT promises, so checking guides like JellyNeo's is a good way to prevent being (too) disappointed.)

Interesting, KL's npc's didn't give me much trouble at all; Maraqua's players, on the other hand... ?

(I've updated the link in my post. ^_^) I think I'll stick with my team for next round; the only difference between my team and the best scoring team is that I chose Agog instead of DJ Skellington.

I think you might be confusing Oil Paint with a different paint brush colour, as it doesn't exist for the Shoyru yet. ? (Or did you mean Scorchio?)

To be honest, I would've been as lost as you were, @jellysundae, had this been a theme back when I still entered rounds. (It could've been, as it was on the list I got from Deb when I took over.) We don't have Renaissance Fairs over here either, and all I know about them, I've learned from random references on shows like How I Met Your Mother and Gilmore Girls. ?

The Darigan Yooyu is definitely the most annoying/unpredictable Yooyu, but it's possible to get it and still score and keep playing, instead of having to wait the game out. If you run sideways past the goal, and throw it, you might get lucky, as a pet will usually throw the Darigan Yooyu to its left or its right. This is how I usually manage to score, sometimes in one try, sometimes in 20. Sometimes the other team will throw it into their own goal. And on rare occasions they'll get hold of it and manage to actually score a point. When I get the Darigan Yooyu, it's often as my second Yooyu in the game, so I prefer to keep on playing, as that's a long time to wait (and a rather low score to send in), but we each have a strategy we prefer, I guess.

My team's the same as @Duma's, except that I picked Agog as star player. (For those interested in how well the staff members did last year, you can also check their scores for each round here.)

@jellysundae That's also the quote that's shown when you actually pick him for your team*, but the quotes that show up for the team you picked always seem to be different from the quotes that are shown on their 'profile'. * I didn't end up choosing him, but I did want to see what his quote looked like:

Shenkuu just scored against me by throwing the Darigan Yooyu from halfway across the field, facing forward, in a straight line right past my goalie. What voodoo magic is your team using? ? ?

I was picking my players for the staff tournament, and couldn't help laughing at Kakarot's quote. Was it like that last year?

One of Kreludor's players was still covered in ice after the power-up was supposed to have worn off, and stayed that way for the duration of the game. ? (She could move and grab the Yooyu and everything, she was simply covered in ice while doing all of that.) (They managed to score against me while I was distracted by trying to get a good screenshot of the moving lump of ice.)
