Oh my goodness, please don't feel any pressure to rush - I think it's amazing that you take it on to do in the first place!! We appreciate all your hard work, that's for sure!

This is technically a TDN question and so is in the wrong forum, lol!
But yeah, I find this jelly hysterical, but I'm also wanting to hide from its judgement. ?
Shade should NOT be thrown by a gelatinous dessert!!! Certainly not at someone with the same name as it!
And now I'll go back to seeing what other jelly images Dr. Sloth has that I can make use of! ?

I'm sure the guide will be out soon but in the mean time, you can check what items the Negg gives here in our database:

I got the beautiful Springtime Negg Snowglobe first try, which is awesome as it would have been my first choice ? Next I'll be trying for the Eau de Negg.
I am happy this years prizes are cute and springy again... I can't quite recall last year's prizes except for the fact that I didn't like them as much as previous years.
I'm also looking forward to seeing what NC items there are once the guide is out!

Last Monday, I was cleaning out my purse, and put a healthy $3.86 in change in my change jar that has the old Florida Panthers logo on it. I went to put the lid on it, and the unthinkable happened! It slipped from my grasp, and shattered into a million pieces on the floor. Most would tell me to deal with it, and get a new jar. It's not that easy. First my dad bought that for me. He's no longer here, and the jar is no longer made as it's 20 years old. Fast forward to tonight. I was at the game, and looked for a similar jar. Not one single thing.
I'm using a generic mason jar until a replacement can be found.

It can be tough to have to let things go. I know that the hardest for me was an engagement ring that was my great grandmothers - given to my mother (who passed when I was six) when she was 13 and then given to me (by my grandmother) when I turned 13; and my grandmother's wedding ring. I had asked my grandma to keep the engagement ring for me, as I couldn't wear it with the job that I had at the time. She passed, I took them off her finger when we viewed her body at the hospital. A few months after that they were stolen from me - long story short I was going through a pretty rouch breakup and the man that I had been with for ten years pawned them. The most comforting thing that was said to me concerning all of it was - "Serves you right, that is what you get for coveting objects. Learn to let go and find love in the memories." Sounds crazy, and angered me at the time - but it's nothing short of right. Material possessions are literally nothing, it's the memories that we associate with those things that we should hold in high regard - not the stuff.

    Hardtotame said they'd be rolled-over.

What they're saying in the news is this is your last chance to use any points on last year's perks, not that they've recanted on left-over points being rolled-over.

My perks have expired today, I need to pay full price for my stocks!! ? ??

Seriously???! I can reuse my points? That's great... except silly that last week I spent 1000 to fed my pets thinking I had to use them or lose them (and had no idea what else to use them on). Oh well, I'll get over it. I still have almost 3500 left.
I'd love to see the bank bribery and cheap stocks again. I also think it would be cool to be able to upgrade the size of your gallery for points considering how expensive it can be.

Oh boy I have had so much stress lately, this is very relevant haha.
Exercise - Joining a gym this year has been the best decision for a long time. It's a nice quiet one not a big chain, and I go at off-peak times.
Today I wrote out what major things have been causing me stress were
(things like putting off phone calls due to anxiety, or cleaning that needed doing)
and tried to tackle a few of them to lessen the burden. It definitely helped.
Going to the cinema alone helps sometimes!

I am a master procrastinator for deadlines and things that make me anxious, eventually taking a step, however small, towards those things feels so much better than the short term relief of not doing them.
Also when your mind is going a million miles an hour, focus on trying to calm your physical body. Whether that's with a bath, a nap, exercise, a comedy, anything to try to relax your body and send the message that your adrenal system can calm down.

I like to grab my portable CD player (yes, I still use physical CDs) and grab a good book. I then go outside and look for a good tree, climb my self up in there and lounge on a good branch for several hours. I don't always take a book. I find being up high in a tree to be extremely relaxing.

This method might not work if you have a fear of hights...
I also recently threw away my cell phone. I can not describe how much better I feel without that thing on me. I have a land line at home for emergencies, but I leave it on mute. I check the answering machine once every couple of days and use e-mail for communications. If it is an external emergency (family member in the hospital or something like that) people can contact my husband and he will pass along a message.
Neopets is the only "social media" type of thing that I do. I just got rid of as much negative stuff as humanly possible.

Stress I think has a lot to do with how you choose to see things. Some peoples idea of busy is someone elses idea of lazy. The most important thing I've learned for helping with stress is time management. Idk about you but I am a full time student and still use the same methods I used back when I was a part time student with a full time job and a weekend job. 1. Exercise/meditation/ stretching.  It releases a lot of tension and your body will start to crave the feeling you get from it. 2. Better eating habits. I didn't have time to cook so I would throw a bunch of veggies, meat, and broth into a crock pot and let it do the cooking for me over night.  3.  have a to do list. I have my reminders app with 8 weeks worth of things I need to check off daily to keep me on track, and also to remind me where ever I am of what I need to focus on next. I also spend the first couple hours of my morning with Neo and doing dailies. I know that once thats out of the way I can focus on the important things instead of being distracted or wanting to head towards the unimportant. 4. Cut out what is causing  you to be stressed for time or over things. I just deleted my instagram app because I waste time on it, and for what? Nothing valuable.  That time could be spent reading a few extra pages of my textbooks.
These might not work for everyone, and i'm not stress free. But they help me a lot.
Last I just want to add that think of what stress does to you, what sort of bad habits or vices have developed over stress?  Sometimes we are so very automated that we dont recognize them. See if you can point out some of those vices and turn them into virtues by creating some new good habits in your life.
  15. Haha
charelan reacted to Rayd1978 in how do you get rid of stress?
Well, first step would be to find the sources of stress and try to get rid of them.   Sledgehammers work nicely, but aren't always an option.
For general stress I'll often just take and nap or listen to music.  Simple, but effective.
I also find video games work for me.   Specifically resource management games where I'm building a city or in charge of a fortress or something like that.   The actual management of the game is more stress, but the accomplishment of beating a level or hitting a goal goes a long way to making me feel better.

I have 6k shares. I don't know what my new 'sell number' should be though. Right now at 66 (though Duma's post indicates yesterday was 68)...
Any advice? Do you guys typically offload it all in one go? That's what I always did... but I am trying to be smarter about it, so let me know what you guys think.

I was pleased when I saw an old feature had been returned, then got a bit cynical when I realised it was an NC thing, lol. Judging by the previous items JS are going rather basic! The items DO looks pretty good on most of the pets though.
Here's my Draik modelling the pink sweater courtesy of DTI.
    without her scarf
Doesn't look so good on critters with no neck, gotta say.

    That's one bad-tempered Meerca. ?
I'm SOOO lucky that the Angry Meepit eyes make Draiks look adorable, but still, I'm glad that Meerca's not my next-door neighbour. ?
Here's Gen in head-to-toe Maroon, she looks cute, that shade works great with her skin!

OH, annddd, for people like @Angeló (though not because he doesn't buy NC!) The boots on a Peophin look sexy.

See I really made an effort there to create an outfit to compliment the slightly kinky vibe the boot creates? ??

I'm not sure if there is a list of backgrounds per se, but I frequently use the site Dress to Impress. There you can type in 'background' and it will pull them all up and you can test them out on your pet. The limitation obviously is that the word 'background' would need to be in the item name. There's probably a way to search items by category/ zone but I'm afraid I've never tried that so I can't say for certain.
I am also pretty certain that TDN itself has a wearables database... but I am one of those ppl that doesn't like changing the way I do things unless I have to, so I haven't tested that out yet.
