I still have my heart set on Ice for this particular guy, but i'm still pretty pleased with this zap. I wouldn't mind if he stayed like this for a day or two!

It's something, at least! I've been getting absolutely nada from all my various rays for a few weeks now.

not a fan of the plushie except in the 'dear god that's terrible i love it' sense. it looks like the artist drew 10 different mockups and then asked their supervisor which one to use and their supervisor just said 'yes.'

seriously though i'm thinking that might be JUST the thing for Doideag if I decide to commit to an all-vandagyre account! could go nice with grey... although tbh the red looks really nice as is? and i have no other pets that i intend to be basic, could be something unique... or maybe white? that would twin well with my christmas vanda!

Most colours have one or two outliers (like the spotted vandagyre or the speckle usul). I do agree that consistency is nice, though, especially with the colours that have shifted their direction over time. Sometimes I like it (with the Toy colour, for example.) Other times... *cough burlap cough* not so much.

I had to do a double take for the outfit.  It's fur.  Okay.  WEIRD.  But at first it looked like old cartoons where someone is sweating over fur that they wouldn't actually be able to sweat over.

They don't put NC on sale - although I'd advise buying from the outside sellers as you get more bang for your buck and they sometimes run sales. But items do go on sales - GBC's, and cookies usually and pet slots were on sale earlier this month for the birthday.
40 FFQ's gave me just shy of a year at 360 days worth. So 41 if you want to be really thorough. At 50NC a piece, it's... 2000NC for a years worth in the sale and they are something I've been using frequently. 
I'm gonna have to buy some more NC, I fear. I have bought baby capsules as well, and I'm definitely running low. Probably won't partake in Christmas stocking thing though as the items were lacklustre last year. Didn't do Halloween either...

I partook (is that a word?) in the pet slot sale, but while some of the fortune cookies would be nice... I kinda just wanna save the rest of my NC to put towards new pet slots.
Out of curiousity, how many FQCs is enough for a year?

Ah congrats - Mutant wouldn't be my first choice either but he does look very cool! Haha if only there was a salon you could go to to customise his tongue! Is there any particular pets you are aiming for or just going where the lab takes you?

Oh.  Um.  HECK.  Um.  Well then.  Looks like I might need a new lab pet, because while I typically don't like mutants (and this poor former grundo has been through a lot of transformations lately, lol.  Nimmo, including mutant, skeith, then grarrl, now this) this one is kinda neat and sorta looks like a dragon.  HUH.  Would be a bit nicer with a forked tongue, but you take what you can get, eh?  Wonder if NC is gonna be on sale for black friday this year so I could grab a couple extra pet slots >_>

After many weeks of spending several lab ray cookies, color, gender and species changes I finally have a (male) Ice Hissi! Context: I got Kaskafil (his name) on Hissi day and wanted to get him ice since he'd look cool and like the Snowager, which is my favorite neopian monster. But since I didn't have the money for a potion to do that I tried my luck with the lab ray. When he (or she at the time) became a species that couldn't become ice I used a Starry Grarrl Potion to raise the ice-zapping chance. And finally after quite a (long) while my pet turned ice and I used a premium perk to change him into a Hissi. I am VERY happy that my patience and effort has paid off in the end. Just wanted to share this with you all.

That Plushie design sure is crowded haha, but I like it, in an odd chaotic way, it's cute! The fuzzy pompoms for the ears are adorable, and I also like the feathers that make it look like a peacock.
The outfits are lovely! The books on the hat are marvelous, as well as the design on the skirt. It's perfect for a fancy, old timey librarian! The other clothes are nice too, not too bland with the feathers, but they keep a simple design.
It's what the Vandagyres deserve on this wonderful day!
