Please double check your votes before submitting them, to avoid mistakes, because they can't be changed afterwards. Current theme: Friday Nights Description: Dress up a Neopet to reflect what you* like to do on a Friday night. (Or what you would like to do, if the world wasn't a complete and utter mess right now.) *It doesn't have to be something you actually (like to) do, it's not like I can check up on that. Entering period: Monday, April 19 - Sunday, April 25 Voting period: Monday, April 26 - Sunday, May 2 Be sure to check out the links to the animated entries, although with Flash gone (and pre-HTML5 conversion) you'll only be able to see the still image. (Still worth checking out, as it'll be bigger than the one in the thread, so you'll be able to see more details on it.) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Voting is now officially closed! @Angeló It seems like King Hagan is not the sharpest tack in the drawer! Just "the" ? And you got a 642 out of 1000? And for not trusting a robot (I think Will Smith would agree with you & maybe an "I, Robot II" movie coming to Neopia") -a lower B 606 out of 1000? I think the King is hitting a potion too hard these days.2 points -

"It's a sad day when you can no longer trust robot ," you exclaim astutely. He ponders all that you have said. It seems he is not displeased. That's good. King Hagan Says: Well you're not the sharpest tack in the drawer, but that wasn't too bad. I give you a B! (606 out of 1000) Here is something to help you study. King Hagan hands you: King Hagan2 points

We all know he doesn't get a great deal of what we say to him, and just says he knew that already. I feel he spends a good 75% of his time entirely bemused. xD1 point -

I'm often a book a day/every other day depending on length and heft, which is why I decided to only include the highest of the high recommendations in it. So rather than being a full journal of books read, it's more like a book of recommendations. Out of 160 odd books last year, I suspect 10-15 will make it in. I'm not going back much further than that and am only including books from 2018-2019 that made such an impression I remember them clearly two to three years later!! I also collect quotes from books in another set of notebooks... so it does take up an extra amount of time, but I think the fruits of the efforts are worth it! It's actually quite helpful that I'm so far behind on quote taking - it means I get a refresher of books in 2019-2020 before Book Journalling them! As I said, I'm no artist by a long stretch, so my pictures are more like simplistic representations either of the whole book or of a specific scene. So this one for instance was just a single scene where she's getting married after getting pregnant out of wedlock but her husband to be has been conscripted, so instead of being present, they just had a hat on a simple stool to represent his presence. I'm not sure why that image had such an impression, but it did! And in complete contrast you have Dune... and a very 'abstract art' (read, could be drawn by a child!) of the world and the sand worms!1 point

No problem, thanks for sending it so quickly! (I think you and I are in the same time zone, so I didn't know if you'd still be awake/online. XD) I was going to post the round right after I received your entry... and then there was a power cut in my neighbourhood, so I didn't have wifi. It's back on now, and since I'm still awake, I might as well finish/post it now. (Thankfully tomorrow's a national holiday over here, so I can sleep in. )1 point

That looks wonderful! I'm a book a day reader so I wouldn't have time to do this (and it would not look anywhere near this good if I did) but I'm so impressed by your creativity.1 point

*shakes head sadly* I didn't follow protocol, and look what I got... King Hagan listens contently to your words of wisdom... "Never trust boring ," you declare knowingly. He ponders all that you have said. Erm... have you been keeping up with your reading? King Hagan Says: That didn't make any sense at all. Preposterous! If I could go lower than an F-, I would. (252 out of 1000) You best be on your way before he calls the Castle Tutor.1 point
