Plot Prize Shop Update: Select Items Leaving After Plot Ends

The prize shop reopened on April 28, 2026, and will remain available after the plot ends. However, several powerful Battledome rewards are planned to be removed two weeks after the plot concludes on June 30, 2026.

The items scheduled for removal are Void Blade, Extra Loud Techo Fanatic Megaphone, Thunder Sticks, Gemmed Sword of Light, Sword of Reif, Wand of the Dark Faerie, and Grapes of Wrath. Additionally, non-plot collectibles (such as stamps, charms, and other album items), morphing potions, and paint brushes will be limited to one purchase per account.

And of course I've lost the link to the battledome am I good post, ha!  Are any of the weapons good?  I still don't really understand a lot of the lingo surrounding them....

Basically, yes, the weapons you can earn from the void within plot are very good. Some are a matter of preference or maybe fighting style, but the Wand of the Dark Faerie is considered one of the top weapons to have.

As for the lingo, damage done or blocked is measured in icons (there are several kinds of icons), so something that does 10 icons worth of damage is probably better than something that does 6. The reason icons are used instead of numbers is the actual amount of points of damage you can do depends on your neopet's strength level.  A low level neopet will just do 10 points of damage while a higher one can do 150 with the same 10 icon level weapon. So winning battles depends on your equipment plus the training you've done with your neopet.

There are plenty of minute details and rules to entertain/bore a person for days (just like baseball or the stock market) but that's the basics.

I would recommend at the very least Wand of the Dark Faerie and Thunder Sticks.

 

For reference Wand of the Dark Faerie is still sitting at a value of 20m even after it became more accessible, before that the item was floating anywhere between 300m-500m and is a great attacker. The Thunder Sticks was a weapon that was available from a previous Altador cup and their value was getting up there too! Before the plot dropped they were worth 300m+, they're a great weapon and considered one of the best if not the best freezer. (A "freezer" is a weapon designed to freeze an opponent, preventing them from making any moves during the following turn. This allows you to deal damage or heal without taking damage in return, essentially giving you a free turn)

Ooooops!  I thought I'd replied to this!  So the thunder sticks are similar to lens flare then?  So I could have two rounds of them not being able to do anything if I got it?

Yes, but, as Musical Shoyru said, they only freeze after the round that you used it. So, attack with Thunder Sticks along with lens flare (and a weapon), then you can attack again with two weapons as they remain frozen for the round.

And if you get Warlocks Rage you get a third turn they can't do anything at all.
