memepolice
I've been thinking about this recently, I have learned quite a few useful things while playing Neopets. I think one of the best things I've came across is being benevolent. (donating to the Money Tree and giving gifts to friends/helping them out)Take some time to think about it, what's a life lesson or something you've learned from Neopets? ^_^ midnight_spell360, tabachu1 and jellysundae

Aquamentis12
I don't know about life-lessons learned from Neo, but it's certainly been fun helping people with their battle-endeavors. Been doing that most of my time on Neopets, even long before I found TDN. lol So that's more, affirming something I already liked to do, try to help people with their problems. On the flipside, it bothers me when you're looking at items on the TP, and there are no prices or wishlists mentioned, and you write to one or more of the people wanting to sell, to get a price quote, and they are either rude or flat out ignore the NM because there is no offer. Not EVERY trader is like that of course. Met a few new and good people/friends that way too. ;) I suppose the life lesson COULD be that you never know until you try, but that's an old one I already knew too. LOL But it makes for a good reminder. ;) memepolice and midnight_spell360
firaplays
I think persistence is one of the most important things I've learned from my avatar hunting. There's nothing quite like finally getting one of those random avatars, or even just getting one that took a lot of effort.
Naamah D.
Neopets has such a variety of foods and has inspired me to branch out of my comfort zone when ordering at restaurants and try new foods and drinks.
rraspberry
I feel like it taught me about saving and goal-setting in a way! As in there were a bunch of expensive items I wanted when I was a kid, and since I was kind of a nerd I made up plans for how I was going to make a certain amount of NP each day until I reached my goal, so I could predict how long it would take me to get it. It also helped me not to be so impulsive in buying other things ;)
twilight790
I agree with firaplays and rraspberry. I have learned both persistence and saving/goal-setting from neopets. I am an avatar collector as well and I have found that, when going for game avatars, trophies, or high scores, persistence is key. I have learned not to give up and to keep trying until you get it (taking breaks of course). It is possible (even though it seems impossible)! As far as saving, I finally have the most np that I have ever had in my history of playing neopets. I learned how to run a successful shop and I have been doing my dailies every day. It really adds up. midnight_spell360
Micaylaw
Not sure if it's a life-lesson but all the time spend on the neoboards helped my typing more than any typing class ever did :)
