So I missed the original battle plotline. I've read TDN article but wanted to ask a clarifying question. Is the new prizes points for the shop or random other stuff?

It would be nice if they fixed all the broken things that have collected over the years. I miss the old neohomes. Some of the stuff that people did in them was so cool. The way they would use stuff to create new things. I really wish they would do more for holiday events on Neopets. Negg festival is one of the rare ones where you actually get to scavenger hunt and "play". It would be cool if they did a trick-r-treat event where if you visited different areas you'd get prizes or gift bags.

I didn't know about the Faerie quest event either. I do like the Negg festival. I miss the old storyline events we would get so I look forward to the holiday stuff.

My achievement for today. It was a pain to get. I don't think I'll go for the trophy.

The link that I went to had step-by-step instructions and it included a link to an Adobe Flash file that didn't have the end of life timer built in. Because of security concerns, I would only use this to try for avatars. I'm in a bit of a pickle, I don't have over 200 avatars (I suck at Flash games). You need that plus over 100 posts to start participating in the Avatar Lending program for pets here. So I was hoping that Pale Moon might be a quick fix.

Are there any more updates on the Pale Moon method? I'm thinking about installing so I can work on some avatars but I don't want to mess with it, if it's not going to work. I did find an addon for Chrome called Ruffle. It enable some stuff: Coconut Shy, Qasalan Expellibox and Test Your Strength specifically.

Well this was not as painful as I thought it was going to be. Took me about 30 minutes.

I grew up in a haunted house. No actual ghosts but the house itself seemed to have a life of it's own. The house was over 100 years old and had been many things in its life up to that point including a dentist's office and a brothel. Because of the things that I experience while living there, it has actually made me more of a skeptic. Having experienced real paranormal activity, I often look for mundane explanations before I settle on a supernatural one. I have seen two different ghosts before at two different times/locations. One, was while I was stationed in the military during an overnight shift at the base hospital. The second, a residual haunting, happens at my current home. From the first time we realized we had a residual haunting, we decided we wouldn't talk about it to anyone that comes over. Over the past 23 years, over a dozen guests and/or roommates have experienced this particular haunting. It's always the same. Many of these people never met. Almost half of them were skeptics and could not find a mundane explanation for the experience. So yes, I do believe in ghosts.

The NES was my 3rd gaming system. My first was Pong. My second was an Atari 7800. My third was a NES with Zelda. It became my favorite Nintendo series.

I have both adult and children's coloring books. My most recent favorite acquisitions are an adult Day of the Dead coloring book and a children's Mandalorian coloring book. I use crayons, coloring pencils and Sharpie markers. I'm trying to learn how to shade/highlight properly. There are a lot of fun Youtube tutorials that help a lot.

My hobbies include writing - both original and fan fiction, playing video games - casual games like Neopets but also RPGs, Minecraft, farming games like Stardew Valley and survival games. I sometimes do crafting & sewing projects. I am currently make masks for people, dice bags and I'm working on a Tarot bag design. I love tabletop RPG gaming but I've sadly not had the time.

I don't know that online dating sites are any different than meeting someone at a club or bar. That's how it was done before dating apps. I met my husband at a LARP Vampire game. We will have been together for 25 years on March 15 of this year. You really never know where you are going to meet a person you will make a connection with.

Congrats on winning! I've never actually made a wish at the Wishing Well because I thought it was such a rare change to win.

I really like both outfits. I don't have a uni but the Steampunk look makes me really tempted.

I've finished The Dark Command and have moved on to Dark Force Rising (final book in Thrawn trilogy). I think I'll put Star Wars on hiatus once I finish and start re-reading The Dresden Files. I never read the last 2 books which came out last year and it's been 5 years total since Skin Game came out.

I'm not a huge fan of Gelerts but I must admit the Toy Gelert is really cute.

I'm slowly working on my dream team of pets. I make backstories for my pets which help me decide their looks/clothing. I also work in the things that I collect and activities that I do on Neopets. Hopefully you'll enjoy: Pim Truenote – My first pet. He was named/is based on a tiger-like creature that was a familiar for one of my tabletop RPG characters. Pim was silver and got in a fair amount of fights with her. So he is my Battledome pet (still training/figuring that out). I have a Pirate paintbrush that I need to use on him, since that is the closest look to the original Pim. He is the captain of the sky-ship Scimitar, which is manned by a crew of petpets. All of my pets fled there when the Flash Catastrophe destroyed both their original and new Neohomes. Kia Truenote – Kia is currently a Lost Desert Kougra. I got her from the pound not long after I made Pim. She was a regular Kougra who I painted. I also ignore the Kougra14 after her first name. She will be repainted as a Daragan and I will be giving her a librarian look, which means dipping my toe into NC trades. She's is my book trophy pet, I'm currently working on both. She and Pim are happily married. She collects backpacks and interesting school supplies – mainly Kougra and Faerie ones. Cutter Wolfking – Cutter was the second pet that I made specifically for my oldest son. He wanted a Cloud Kougra named Cutter (our last name) but was too young to have an account. We compromised and he agreed to a pseudonym for our last name. He promptly lost interest and is now a surly teenager who doesn't care. So Cutter will be getting a purple paint job. He will be my food club pet and is the financial manager for my pets. His favorite thing is investing in stocks and collecting interest from the bank. He's got a lengthy backstory involving shady criminal organizations in Neovia, his rise to power in one such organization and his success at reinventing them into a legitimate corporation but that is a tale for another day. He likes to read recipe books, collect posters and t-shirts. He's gonna have a nice Gothic look. Kahmaat – Kahmaat is my new Lost Desert Kougra, created for my now side account. She was created as a result of the “Frozen Account” incident that hit Neopets several years back. I've moved back to my main account (a long story involving how to move a Lutari) and she has moved with me. She runs the pets' Neostore where she sells all the treasure they collect on their adventures. She will stay a Lost Desert Kougra but I will find some new clothing for her. She collects stamps and other collectibles. Tikka Tokk – Tikka is my Lutari who currently resides on my side account. She is an archaeologist and tinkerer. She loves discovering treasure and inventing robot petpets. The current plan is to morph her into something else, move her to main account and then morph her back into an Island Lutari with a potion. I have the potion but haven't done it yet. Mostly because I'm scared it won't work. She collects snowglobes. Black Bery – Bery is a pound pet that I got when I belonged to a now-defunct adoption guild. My intent was to zap her into something cool and adopt her out. She is now my labray pet for avatar purposes. However, if I end up being able to collect avatars using TDN, I don't know what I will eventually do with her. She may live her best life on my side account or if she is zapped into something cool and someone wants her, I may still adopt her out. Thistle (Last Name Unknown) – Thistle will be my Christmas Vandagyre. She's going to be my witchy pet. I haven't made her yet and I'm still working out her backstory. I do know that she will collect plushies and toys. I also have a rather expensive outfit put together that will require NC items. She also likes gardening and reading spell/magic books. I'm kind of waiting to see what I will do with Bery before I make her but will collect her costume and gear while I do. Unnamed Draik – So while investigating what I need pet-wise to collect avatars, I looked at Draiks and fell in love with the Woodland Draik. He will be Thistle's partner-in-crime so he'll need an appropriate backstory and name. I think he have something to do with the fairies. He will also love apples. It will be fun putting all that together. I really need Neopets to let us have more than 6 pets on an account (not counting premium). I also wish TNT would give us renaming scrolls or tokens or something. I played a dragon pet game where you could rename them but you had to pay for a scroll. Helped with cool looking but badly named adoptions.

So I went to start Neoquest to try for my silver trophy and evil mode wasn't an option. It the game pet specific? I don't mind doing it again on normal to unlock evil but still.

My anti-achievement for today. I spun the Wheel of Misfortune (trying to get sick for an avatar) but I'm tired and forgot to take stuff out of my inventory. He stole my Imposter Apple (trying to get the Apple Bobbing avatar). Sigh, I've replaced it and it wasn't expensive, but still.

It's one of those things that is horrific yet you know will be oddly satisfying once it is done. I keep putting it off but I really should get started. For NQ, Strangefire420, has probably the best guide. Sadly, she never got around to writing one for NQII so I don't know where to begin there.

In all the years I've played Neopets, I've never woken the Turmaculus before. I collect plushies so this is particularly awesome! You have awoken the great Turmaculus... and he has given you a Turmaculus Plushie!!!
