Finally, got this one today. It was a pain in the butt. I really suck at Flash games - which is odd because it only seems to be the Neopet ones that I'm horrible at.

I think the Stealth Chomby is so cool. I'm trying not to have a side account full of pets.

The Island Mystic and the Inbox avatars are a couple of my banes. I've only woken Turmy once. I keep trying but nothing ever happens. I also have been blasted many, many time by the Snowager and still no avatar. I got this today but I thought I already had it. Can you get it more than once?

I sent in my first entry. I really thought I wouldn't be able to think of a good idea but inspiration hit me. I'm very pleased with my entry. I can't wait to see what everyone else thinks up.

So the Reddit feed has been sucky. When I was betting using Sir Hatter and Hugo's guide, I won some money. I tried following over that Reddit (using the same person as suggested) and I've either lost or broke even. This article is excellent but I'm still not getting some of it. It's not you, it's me. This is math based to some extent, which I struggle with, and some of this just isn't clicking with me. I have some learning challenges (Dysgrapia is one which causes me to drop suffixes when I'm typing and I swap letters when writing even though I see them correctly) so sometimes I can see an explanation, I read and understand it but I don't get the "lightbulb" that makes everything slide into place. I know we have a Food Club discussion thread and I wonder if I should continue the discussion over there. I feel like I'm betting blindly and picking bad bets because I don't understand things. I found another guide that I'm going to read but I'm still not getting everything. I'm stubborn so I'll just keep reading and trying until I get it. Also, is Garet an example or someone you are following? It would help me to look at his page/post while I reread your explanation. (Which I've done 3 times already and will probably continue to do. Thank you for taking the time to try and explain.

Today's avatar achievement has gotten me to 200 avatars!

Welcome back. Long time player but new to TDN. I've been playing about 16 and 1/2 years myself.

I'm happy to hear that Bomber's going to be fine! Makes me think about the toys we have around here. We had a scratching post with a giant pompom-like ball on the end that didn't last very long. The kittens broke the string fairly quickly. Because it was very large (About the same size as a large tangerine) I just trimmed the string off and let them play with it as is. They've been batting it around. Now, I wonder if I should throw it away.

So not only did I get the avatar but this is the first time I've every gotten anything from the Symol hole. Today has turned out to be a lucky day for me in the avatar department. Maybe, I should try refreshing my inbox for a while.

I am so sorry to hear about Bombur's troubles. (Great name by the way. My boys are current reading The Hobbit and loving it.) We are a cat family as well so I can imagine the stress you are going through right now. He's a beautiful ginger. We got a ginger named Oz. He's 14. (We tend to get cats in pairs so they keep each other company.) Oz had a litter mate named Shadow - yes he was black but he also always stayed by Oz's side. They even walked in tandem.) We lost him last year to feline epilepsy. He had a massive seizure and passed. (We now have 3 new kittens (all littermates) that are rescues we adopted. We only wanted to get two (to keep Oz company) but the people set to adopt Jinx and Hudu's sister decided at the last minute they didn't want her. Their foster mom offered her to us and we couldn't say no, so that is how we got Queenie. You got Bombur to the vet really quickly and I'm sure he is getting the best possible care. I have hope that he will be home with you very soon. I know it's very stressful but try not to worry and make yourself sick.

Another somewhat expensive avatar under my belt. Today is my first time wishing for stuff at the Wishing Well. I went for Bags of Peanuts because need to feed those to an Elephante. I need one of those too.

I'm doing FC for the first time ever. Spent the last few days reading different guides. I settled on Hugo's guide which is a modification of Sir Hatters. I guess today is a bad betting day but here's hoping. I've been reading various articles about FC and I've found the Reddit feed. I've been betting the last 3 days. So far I've made money and not lost any. I need to find a good article or reference that explains all the lingo/acronyms.

So I went for the Illusen's Day avatar (which I got) but I got notified that I had completed quest level 32. So apparently, sometime in the past I had started working my way up her questline - probably for a trophy?!? - and then completely forgot about it.

Today has been a productive day in my avatar collection quest: I was never a big Battledome player so that's why I hadn't gotten this one yet. I always forget to screen shot these to post here. *sigh* I'll admit, I freaked out for this one because I didn't see the notification. For a split second, I thought it was broken and I wasn't going to be able to get it. One more book toward the book trophy.

Half Price Day is my jam. I spend the entire day in several stores restocking. I work from home and homeschool so it is easy for me to arrange my schedule around it.

That is just crazy. I've never been able to do restocking. I have the internet speed but trying to memorize what to get and stuff is daunting. I just figured out how to do stock this past month. Food club looks daunting. I can't imagine having 2 billion. It's taken me forever to save up 9 million that I have in my bank.

Both my husband's and my accounts went back to where they were before the DLS glitch. That's good news at least, though I wish they would fix it.

Congrats on the Grarrl Keno avatar. For the Graveyard. I watched a couple of shows back to back on my PC and while I was watching it, I just kept pressing F5 - kind of slow and steady because I was afraid of being frozen - then I checked it once it was done. I wrote down where I was on my userlook up so when I checked it, I could see it the number went up or not.

The ray is fired at Black_Bery_... ...and she changes into a Blue Scorchio!! Doesn't help me for any pet avatars but we shall carry on!!

Whoo Hoo!! Look what I finally got today. It took about 2 hours of steady refreshing. I missed the notification but it's in my list now.

I can't find it on the new site either. I used TDN avatar checklist creation to navigate to be able to check my numbers. I'll keep watching here to see if anyone else knows. In other news, I have to figure out a way to get some of the game avatars if I even want a shot at the trophy.

It's not just you. Both my husband and I are having the exact same trouble, so it has to be an issue with Neopets. Update: I just check the Neoboards and speculation there is that it's a Daylight Savings Time glitch that resets everyone.
