Neoquest 2 is much less painful I promise... it’s NQ1 on insane I can’t face ?

I don't even want to know how many hours I put into this. Luckily I got paid for the time, since it is SLOOOOOOWWWW at work. I never want to quest a neo, ever again. Except Monday when I'm sure I'll start NeoQuest II. Sigh.

That's awesome! And is pretty consistent with my experience too.
Based on my observations, interest groups composed predominantly of women are generally much more cooperative, respectful, celebratory, supportive, and community-oriented: a rising tide lifts all boats. Of course lots and lots of men play Neopets, but I'd wager the player base at this point is majority female, and probably by a lot.
Since I picked up Neopets again, I've spent almost no time in HearthStone because, like ... yeah, toxic. The feel of the Neopets community honestly reminds me a lot of that amazing decade I spent deeply entrenched in the Harry Potter and Merlin fandoms, back in the days of LiveJournal before Tumblr came and ruined everything (meddling kids / get off my lawn / etc). Neopets is still nicer, though, maybe because we're mostly all just dressing up our wee animal paper dolls, and who really wants to go from combing their anthropomorphized dust bunny and feeding their dinosaur to ... well, what we've all seen in Twitch chat. 
Idk why this became a novel, but apparently I have thoughts on the topic.

I remember actually reading the first 4 pages or so and then thinking to myself, "Wow, this really isn't ever going to become interesting, is it?" The click-click-click-click of vapid dialogue with no way to interact with it, no scavenger hunts, just ... eye-glazing nonsense.  I posted on the Avatar neobards about being loaned an FQD. I didn't ask for it outright. Just how much collateral would be needed. Someone loaned me the doll, no questions asked! That's the third time I've been given something without asking. Only for inquiring about it! I'm so shocked! Thank goodness she neomailed me, or I would've lost her username.
I am definitely not rich, but if I ever get the chance to loan or give someone what they're seeking, I will forward to the kindness! I've been in several fandoms before and had to leave because they proved to be toxic, so Neopets is really the nicest community I've been part of!

I just collected my food club winnings then decided to use it to play wheel of extravagance for the 1st time ever... AND GOT THE AVATAR!!!

Mine is really just Ghoul Catchers, Trudy, and Food Club. Stocks for long game. My SDB is full of crap I should sell, but I'm too lazy. Plus my battledome drops have been crap the past week. I think I got 2 red codestones, 2 neggs, and a bunch of rubbish fodder over the last 7 days. Oh, well. It be like that sometimes. I've never attempted restocking, and I doubt I ever will. Sounds just awful to me.

Just got the Kelp avvie! So glad I never have to go back there again....

4th place... On the one hand, yay! A silver trophy for my profile! I'm terrible at games, so this is exciting! On the other ... really? I couldn't get just a feeeeewwwww more points to luck my way into gold?

I always feel a wee bit disingenuous when I say I like post-hardcore music because that MOSTLY just means I am deeply, desperately in love with Thursday and enjoy other acts of the genre when I hear them. I'm also a huge Cursive fan and saw them live in November. I have a Placebo tattoo (the first one I got at the tender age of 18), so they're another of my all-time favorites, though not post-hardcore in the slightest. Other musicians/bands I have on rotation: Tame Impala, Fight Like Apes, Animal Collective, Coconut Records, Say Lou Lou, Tori Amos, The Submarines, Of Monsters and Men, The Mars Volta, and various trashy pop music that helps me get through cardio (I hate cardio). What music moves you?
I just quadrupled the 50k I put into Food Club today so I'm feeling pretty smug. I also got an adorable striped Poogle from a lovely zapper today, so I feel like I'm here to stay, at least for a while!
I acknowledge that the world needs Gryffindors, but that doesn't mean I won't grumble the entire time I'm cleaning up your messes. ?

I have confused memories of Battlestar Galactica, I used to watch it at my Grandad's on a Sunday afternoon and I remember liking it, but as I was 11 at the time I don't think I understood what was going on at. all. hence the fact that I really can't remember it very well, lol.
