It's been a while, but this was a fun surprise today: Holy crap, it's a lucky day, I guess!

I just learned that the Opera browser doesn't give the "are you sure you want to refresh" prompt, and Dice-A-Roo suddenly became possible. I didn't even notice I got it, since the jackpot was tiny. Now to try refreshing some more for the Neomail Addict av.

Got lucky with a robot petpet zap! I'm trying to power through NeoQuest II right now as well, so will hopefully get a couple more in the next few days. It's a good thing it's been slow at work. Edit: Yeeeesssssss, except I forgot to die to a plains lupe, so now I have to finish the game and start a new one just to die. Haaaaaa.

My relationship ended over the weekend and I'm pretty torn up about it, but this honestly cheers me up. Thanks, Neopets! Edit: Decided to treat myself today on hidden tower discount day.

I'm pretty sure I'm just never going to get the Chocolate avatar and I'm trying to make peace with that. For now, I put some time and NP into this. I've been dreading working on the Usuki one for ages, so I guess that might be next. Edit: I need a nap.

Today is a good day for busting out a couple avatars.

I totally mangled my screenshot somehow, but I was on a faerie quest I didn't even know I had and then Dr. Sloth handed me a Jetsam Transmogrification Potion in exchange for my eternal servitude. The rude old man didn't bother giving me the Dr. Sloth avatar, though, so I know he doesn't really trust me yet.

I did a little more research a couple weeks ago and learned you don't have to wait for the page to load before refreshing again, which I didn't know and made me feel reaaalllllyyyy stupid. I spammed F5 while scrolling Instagram on my phone for 5 minutes then checked my avatar count and saw I had finally gotten the cursed avatar. Still no luck on the neomail addict one, though. If TNT sees you fast-refreshing on the graveyard page, they won't flag you as a cheater, since they know that avatar is a pest. I'm pretty sure they'd be able to see when you got the avatar, so if you got the avatar the same day you were refreshing, they'd be fine with it. However, if you've had the avatar for 2 years and keep going to the graveyard to try to 'get away with' refreshing for REs, that's trouble town.

After two avatar goldmine perks expired without getting this, I resigned myself to it never happening. Sold some stocks this morning and felt wealthy, so I gave it a go and ... yeah, that feels good. Now I just need the wheel of knowledge to stop giving me windows and ~helpful advice.

Knocked this out after getting Illusen today. Woooo! Almost makes up for how many NP I'm losing on the Wheel of Extravagance. Almost. Loljk that's still horrible and I'm sad about it. I'm on my second Avatar Goldmine and keep getting the "you get nothing, soz" square. Except the time it leveled my battle pet into 4-codestone training territory--that was good too.

You guys are rock stars. I hit rank one today and was well chuffed with myself.

I had this fully blinged-out Aisha jacket in my closet, so I just made him a movie star. Pretty happy for now.

I'm not mad at all. Aishas are way easier to customize.

Yesterday I finally got a quest from the fountain faerie (!!!!!) and after trying to think of what the heck I wanted, I realized I could knock out a couple avatars and give my #1 pet a makeover in one go. Sooo I bought a ghost buzz morphing potion and used it on Te (Magical Kauvara avatar), took my temporary bug to the fountain and painted him white (Buzzin' avatar), then used my premium perk to turn him back into a Xwee. Of course now all I want to do is customize him and I keep getting a plugin error. Still feels like a really successful day. Plus I got Blumaroo - Fire yesterday thanks to the ALP, and should be getting Mootix today.

Struck out on Snowager and the Wheel of Excitement today, but it feels really good to have these two taken care of. I also got the second Korbat - Royal from In a New Avatar. EDIT: I had no idea CC counted towards this. Just threw out a soggy old box to seal the deal. I'm so happy!

Apparently today is my newest account's tenth birthday! New shield coming up, woo!

The problem is, I'd rather nuke my Neopets account than play 1500 games of SS, or 8800 games of MSN/SSDD. Oh, my gosh. I don't know how you guys do it.

Wait, I have to play that many GAMES to rank up, not just earn that many points? Hahahahaha! Wow, I'm gonna fail the team so hard. I do not care enough for this. I'm sorry, guys. Shenkuu deserves better than me. (Also, yes, I'm freaking TERRIBLE at YYB.)
