Wow, I was going to come here and put my two cents in, but it looks like you don't need it.  I think I am going to vote instead.  LOL.  I really LOVE @jessodey, that is great! I love #2 from @teukkie with the bandana too. To me it has sort of a piratey feel to it (IDK why) and I love pirates.
@Nielothe background does look fab and the lantern with the top hat, spot on.
Everyone has done a great job, but those are my top three, in no particular order of course.  LOL

This is my idea for if you keep him the same colour :) I have a few items that suit the background in the editing version so you could edit it yourself if you wanted. I usually just try to figure out what I can afford now instead of a goal. I should figure out my dream and go for that, since i've been in a bit of a rut lately without goals! Thank you both !

AHOY. My name is Kaitlin, I'm 23 and got back into my 12 year old Neopets account over the summer. I've spent the last year trying to accumulate neopoints to fulfill the neo-goals my child-self could never achieve. After coming onto Neopets somewhat regularly for this long I figured maybe I should meet some people  
IRL I'm a recent college grad, work in IT, and am trying to revive my old hobbies like drawing! I love to make music and I enjoy anime and video games.

I don't usually play Zurroball much, but I found this helped me beat AAA's score (I got 113 using the energy ball and on a laptop with a trackpad lol :) )
1. Count in your mind after each time you click the ball - I know this sounds odd, but it really made a huge difference. It helped me set a pace and rhythm to the clicks and I got the score pretty quickly. It also had a calming effect that helped with focus
2. Play with the sound off - again less distractions to be had.
3. I positioned my cursor around the red line where the combos you do get posted. Although it took longer than going for grounders to get the score, it helped set that rhythm and made where the ball was going to go more predictable and controllable. 
4. I slowly moved the ball towards a wall once the score was reasonably high (around 60)

I'm glad they resolved it already, but just in case it happens to someone else or in another game and it leaves people wondering:
I've heard that even if your score is being reviewed it will still count for DD and you'll get your checkmark and prizes. The NP you won will be rewarded with the review.
Being reviewed doesn't mean you cheated, every game has a cap, every score above that cap will go for review. If they deem the score legit it will go through. If it's high enough to get in a high score table or to get an avatar, you'll get that too after the review.

About today's game, Snowmuncher, and the prizes. As of right now, it shows the Abigail prize, Snowmuncher Snowglobe , as worth much more (about twice) than the AAA book prize. Do you know the reason for the difference, and do you think the globe will stay higher in value than the book, How to Avoid Bloating: Snowmunchers Guide

I am SO underwhelmed by the Lulu on Vacation aspect of this event! There's quite literally nothing to see, each day is just a gate to open with a tweaked version of the same boring background.

i actually just got a neomail from the staff saying that my score has been approved, apparently its been happening to a lot of people scoring over 1290 :)

I don't know the answers to this, Jess. All I can do is say I'm sorry and hope it works out for you. I did notice a few small glitches while playing, like some brief visual lags. I'll be curious to see what happens and what others have to say.

i just did Lost City Lanes daily dare, took quite a few tries because i haven't played it before. When i got the score i needed, i sent my score and i got told it was being sent for review? I'm confused as to why and if they don't review my score before todays dd is over will it still be counted? or will i lose my progress for dd?
Do they think i cheated or something? My game was glitching a showing a full set of pins when i only had like 2 or 3 to knock down.

I hadn't played Lost City Lanes since the last time it was part of a DD a few years ago. It showed my high score from then as 1248, so I decided to try to beat AAA. After at least 8 attempts, and learning a little each time, I finally did it and got 1261. Whew! The stamp is worth over 300K now so it's well worth the effort. An extra tip that may help some: you can adjust the ball's starting postion left or right before you roll it, if you'd like to avoid certain obstacles. 

Rough start for DD! Ice Cream Machine seems to be one of those games, for me, that the more I play, the worse I seem to get. I think it is a fun, yet frustrating game, and the avatar still alludes me. Anyhow, I managed to get exactly 7800. Good thing it is not like "Better Than you", where you have to beat the score and tying doesn't count.
TIP: If you aren't sure if you want to challenge AAA, play the game BEFORE choosing/challenging AAA or Abigail. If you manage to get/beat AAA's score, DO NOT submit your score, just yet. Now, go and "challenge" AAA. (Important! Open a new browser tab, if needed). Once "challenged", go back to the game screen and submit your score. You should get credit for beating/matching AAA.
Caution: Be careful playing any Daily Dare game (or any Neopets game, at any time, for that matter) before and a little after midnight NST. Remember, most games plays reset at midnight NST. If you start playing a game before midnight NST and finish and try to post your score at, or slightly after midnight NST, your score may not take. You might receive the error message "There was a problem submitting your score to the servers.", or something similar to that. Only thing you can do at that point, is to start a new game. Would hate for anyone to get a good game score, and not have it take, after all that hard work.

Wraith Resurgence, Daily Faerie Quests and now Daily Dare all running at the same time? Does anyone else think that this is a bit much? Slow down JS. We get that you are excited about the transition and having the opportunity to bring back the fun stuff, but I think you need to slow down. I've got three little guys. Managing all of these things on a daily basis is no small task.

I'm in NZ too and we are 19 hours ahead of Neopets time. Therefore Neopets Lutari day starts at 7 p.m.  19th and goes through to 6:59 p.m. 20th NZ time.

I have 2 level 50 pets UFA, named ReverendSunlight and Kysarfish. They could both have throw pillows, but their stats are not super high - ReverendSunlight would be the higher one, with Strength around 80. You could borrow either of them, or even adopt one permanently if you're interested.
