That's very generous of you! It's not against the rules as long as you don't exchange the FFQ for neopoints or items. It's totally fine to have someone transfer you a pet, you paint it, and then transfer it back to them. I'm sure there's someone on the Customization neoboard who would really appreciate it! Or if you don't find anyone, you could adopt a Buzz from the pound and give it a cool new color before repounding it, maybe that would make it more desirable for someone else to adopt. 

I just got a Fountain Faerie Quest and I'm only after the avatar; I was wondering if it's permissible to paint someone elses Buzz then give it back? Or does this break some kind of rule?
P.S If it's not against the rules and if anyone wants a Buzz painting holla at me

I'm pretty sure Steampunk will win by a HUGE landslide. I don't think it looks robotic at all, however I've been to alot of anime conventions and have cosplayed A LOT including Steampunk outfits and have seen a lot of Steampunk cosplay's so I guess I've just been around it alot to see it looks great? The toy one is pretty cute, but I didn't see anything about it that reminded me of "Toy" just looks shiny. I wonder if a wind up screw on it's back would of been better, or more of a Rubber Ducky look? 
As far as Origami and Burlap Sac, simply hideous! Gross! I do not like them at all. I'm really hoping Toy and Steampunk win cause I am not looking forward to seeing a bunch of Burlap Sac and Origami pets xD
All I can think about is the movie Nine when I see the Burlap color and that movie was just creepy and ended bad IMO, so seeing that just gives me bad vibes. xD
 
Fun Fact; I'm actually allergic to Burlap in real life xD

Discarded Magical Blue Grundo Plushie of Prosperity is cleared by Potion 7 (VII): 1x Wraith Blood , 1x Wraith Fur , 1x Wraith Claw Coltzan's Shrine is cleared by Potion 8 (VIII): 2x Wraith Blood , 1x Wraith Fang Tombola is cleared by Potion 9 (IX): 1x Wraith Fang , 2x Wraith Blood , 1x Wraith Claw Fruit Machine is cleared by Potion 10 (X): 1x Wraith Ectoplasm , 1x Wraith Fur , 1x Wraith Claw , 1x Wraith Fang , 1x Wraith Blood So in total, you will need 6 Wraith Blood, 2 Wraith Fur, 3 Wraith Claw, 3 Wraith Fang, and 1 Wraith Ectoplasm to clear these.

The issue I have is the inconsistency. First we could farm ecto to our heart's content, and many of us did. Then we were told, no, battling extra doesn't help and some ppl laughed at all the effort we'd gone to and ppl donated ecto to the Money Tree (not me; I'm not as green as I'm cabbage looking ::g:;). Then the caps, followed by the vague hint that donating more would get you...something.
 
Now prices are sky-high, everyone's confused, and the slow, repetitive drag of the plot is depressing. We're going to have to do the spinning circles one more time, I know it, and it killed me last time, battle again for the wraith blood, cure 4 pets... It's taking forever and it's not much fun.
 
Sigh. It's had its good moments, but it seems poorly thought out.

I thought it was marble too! It looks a.maz.ing. but it's gonna be REALLY difficult to customise!
I'm not sure what candy that's meant to be, either. Here in the UK seaside rock often comes in multi-striped patterns

this is what sprang to mind for me. But rock isn't a US thing, is it? I could totally see Adam and Donna having used rock as an inspiration back in the day. But JS, now? Not so much.

@maypls I find the new Aisha's eyes to be . . . how on earth do I say this in a way that's acceptable by Neo standards . . . um, distinctly feminine, yeah, that covers it.
The water everything is lovely. Though once again they make a very nice item hard to use year round by adding seasonal decoration. The ice shard ears are great, but the snowflakes are a step too far for me. Though if this is another outfit inspired by pop culture maybe that's how it looks on whoever this hair belongs to.
 

I got a reward for ending up in the Holiday issue of the Neopian Times: a White Paint Brush!
It was really cool since I wasn't expecting to get anything at all. I feel a little weird about selling it, but I don't think I would have used it on any of my pets, so the money is much appreciated!
… is this still an achievement if I technically didn't do anything today, I just got the item today? :~p

I'd love to think that Neopets will be around forever but realistically at *some* point it has to come to an end. I had a quick Google about the worth of Neo and it's come back as $45,630,000! So hopefully that won't be happening for a very long time :)
Despite the glitches and the shoddy ticket system, I personally still love Neo. JS seem to be addressing some concerns of the players (petitions for the return of the Random Contest and Lenny Conundrum being taken seriously, for example), so I have faith they'll put the work in to improving the parts of the site that need attention eventually. That being said, I love the nostalgia of the site, and I imagine they'll probably have plans to update the really old content in the near future. I just hope we don't lose a lot of the stuff that's been around for donkeys that I used to play when I was a kid - that's a lot of the reason I still play, reminds me of a simpler time! Haha.
