I'd say it's worth the occasional visit; I've gotten some pretty good stuff from it (including NC items). It's mostly down to luck, but it's great when you manage to get a rare/valuable/useful item from it.

Well, my theory was based on the assumption that only one person, or at least a limited number of people can win the treasure. You're probably right that TNT wouldn't do a daily where only one person can win the jackpot per day and have the jackpot be 1-3k plus a codestone.
I haven't had any luck with Geraptiku at all, though! I only won the treasure once years ago. I'd have desisted by now, but I really want the avatar .

I guess only a limited amount of people can win, but only because your chance of actually getting to the treasure chamber is small. Would be interesting to know if it IS a 50/50 chance of winning once you're in that room. I'd imagine not, but it IS a bit of a piffling amount to win when the chance of actually winning is so small, isn't it.
I got the avatar without even realising! It was one of those stealth ones that didn't tell me I'd won it.
I gave up visiting once I realised that everything apart from the treasure prize is r.101 stuff, but I do it again now. Seems the bit of my brain in charge of thinking about Charity Corner hoarding is currently over-ruling all others!
 

Oh! I don't know, interesting theory! I've never seen any chatter about that, normally there'd be some kind of myth in place if enough people think something like this happens, wouldn't there, but I've never heard anything like that.
What someone did say, on here I think, is that only one person per day can win the treasure, that doesn't seem at all realistic but that's clearly an existing rumour. I've won it twice in one week, if only one person per day could win it the chances of me winning twice within a few days would be infinitesimal. Plus it's just mean, and that's not old school TNT's style.

It's been two days. You don't quite know how, but you've managed to elude many of the traps mysteriously strewn around this tomb. Maybe it's a good thing you're so clumsy. 

You happen upon a flight of stairs that leads down into the darkness. It seems to go on forever, but you finally reach the very bottom and enter the dimly lit room you find there.

You yell out in disappointment. This room is the treasure chamber you've been looking for but you discover that someone has gotten to the treasure before you. You could devote the rest of your life to finding this person and writing them a stern letter, but you have to get out of here first. 

I hope the bluetooth mouse will work for you. 8000 points is pretty good though, considering gathering points is just really slow the first few levels. If you happen to luck out with enough lives, and you're on a roll, you'll find that the points really climb up fast in the later levels. Good luck!

I prefer to play with a mouse, but I'm not a fan of the trackpad in general, so there's no way I'd be able to get an even halfway decent score using it. Depending on your love of/experience with the trackpad, it might be a good choice for you.

I personally don't think an older computer would be a good idea, although it depends on its state. My old laptop used to lag a lot, which is the last thing you want while playing Ice Cream Machine.
I posted some tips earlier in this thread, although I don't know how useful they are. What eventually worked for me was just a ton of practice; I kinda need to get in the zone and not think too much when playing a game like this. I also needed lots of luck; so I'm wishing you lots of luck as well! :)

Nope! I don't play the Food Club, the reason why I got money so fast was because I traded a Spotted Paintbrush from the Desert daily Fruit Machine for 500k and a silver paintbrush, and then I found a Sec. Lab map and traded it for 222k. Then I played the games that I was best at and restocked until I got 1mil. There were a lot of guides involved...and a lot of months were spent trying to get to that milestone.
I got my other two dreamies, my Silver Kougra and my Brown Aisha. :)
 

Aww, I love Schoolhouse Rock's "Number 8" with the little girl who skated. Turns out (my mom actually has a book about every Schoolhouse Rock video) that the little girl was Bob Dorough's (sp.?) daughter, who grew up to be the second chair violinist or cello player (I don't remember, it was a long time ago when I listened from the backseat of the NPR interview they did with Bob (a co-creator of Schoolhouse Rock) of the Houston Symphony, which he visits every year. This is one of my favorite math videos and a tribute to your Rank 8, Riley! Congratulations! 
 I got All Star, probably bc I don't have a job. Congratulations to everyone, bc the AC changed up the rules a little & took away the Jelly Days that helped many of us rank up, so kudos to us, we are the Champions of ...not the World, but of AC XII!

Rank 17 for me. What's 2 more than last year. I'm gonna go for the 20 next year (again).

Rank 5! Same rank I got in the last Altador Cup I participated in, which was actually AC IV.
I got a bunch of the cheaper stuff on the prize shop, as I anticipated, so I'm okay with that. I was just four YYB games away from Rank 6 but I was too busy and distracted to grind through that final rank though. Grrr

I'm new to these forums but I've been on Neopets for 8 years. I've been there since February of 2009. 
I have two of my dreamies. A Halloween Cybunny and a Chocolate Xweetok. (My Xweetok was from the Rainbow Fountain Faerie, my Cybunny was from a Gray Faerie quest.)
I'm working for Darigan C. in the AC. I don't like how they're getting dragged through the dumps, but at least they're not as bad as Faerieland.
I finally hit 1,000,000 neopoints yesterday, which was my goal ever since I got my account.
What's up?

I got to rank 8. At first I was frustrated for not making it at least to 10, but then I like 8 because it looks like infinity symbol, but I still want to get a higher ranking next year. Anyway, I only got to 1 last year and this time I was able to get everything I wanted from the prize shop, so I'm happy.

I made it to All Star this year, however it still wasn't enough to buy the background from the prize shop - I was about 300 measly points short grrrrr! lol
