I don't want to accidentally run afoul of the rules, so I'd thought I'd check first.
I have a petpage, /~Philomela74, that is a directory of pet stories and profiles, for those who want a larger audience for their carefully crafted pages, or those who enjoy reading new pet stories. Is this something I can post about here, try to widen the net, as it were? Thank you.

Is this what happened to your sister's account?  Does that mean they finally told her why she was frozen?
 
Seems it has happened to a few other people that I've seen while googling, but the TNT says VPMs are allowed.  Maybe suggest she start sending in tickets with a link to this saying "hey, you banned me for doing something you said was fine."

Sorry for completely disappearing for so long! I hadn't intended to quit TDN (and Neopets) completely, but I guess I really needed a break. (I abandoned my Animal Crossing island around the same time and haven't dared going back since. 😆)
I did see all your messages come in, but I didn't really have the time or energy to answer them. My apologies!
I don't really have a concrete update on the future of the Runway yet, but I'll see if we can work on getting it up and running again, perhaps in a slightly altered form. I'll (try to 😅) keep you all posted!

Hello! As some of you may know Nielo & I were talking about the future state of The Runaway toward the end of last year.

With some discussion we agreed that I would start running the contest again & Nielo would hop in and help here and there whenever she is available!

That being said some new things are coming to the Runway! 🙂
 
We are allowed to give out prizes now! Back in 2018 TNT changed the rule they had which did not allow for anyone to give out prizes for contests ran. This meant that prizes were now allowed to be given out. I also had personally spoke to Alice back in that year to clarify and ask some questions about the announcement made in that editorial & she answered with this; because the Runway had started in 2015 this was something that developed many years after the start of this contest. So we're excited to announce that the winner(s) of each round will be receiving a NC item prize. This may change to being a mix of NC item prize and NP Wearable item prizes in the future, but for now we're sticking to NC
I would like to try to keep the contests more anonymous to keep it fair so I will be finding way to make the contest fair & fun for everyone that wants to participate 
 The contest will be ran essentially once a month, with two weeks for submissions & two weeks for voting.
I've also created a poll above regarding the "story" option for the runway. I wanted to see if people would still like to keep this as an option going forward with The Runway in 2024. I do think it's a really neat option, but with only so many people actually using it & everyone having different writing styles I think after awhile you'll begin to know who is writing what & the contest would not remain anonymous. If we'd like to keep that story option available another thought is maybe turning that section into a "Winner's Story"; in which you can submit a story to be displayed/showed on your entry if it places.

I'm loving these quests. My conspiracy theory is that they are overloading the site on purpose to justify new spending for servers and stuff. Maybe they have to get everyone online to show their bosses how much traffic we are REALLY capable of, or they just need accurate high-traffic numbers to plan the next scheduled upgrade. Just a guess!

Neopets has announced big changes in the works, now that it is home to a brand new company. Players won't have to wait long as changes will begin on July 20th with the launch of a brand new Home Page. The next big release will have 50 Flash games re-instated on July 25th. 

Other changes include: finishing conversion of the website, a brand new plot, more transparency from the team, new mobile game and more. For more detailed information of what is to come, click here.

The one about finding love when you're not actively looking for it. If you are in the mindset of "wanting a relationship" then you are more likely to ignore red flags and incompatibilities in the name of "making it work." I met my fiance on tinder, both of us were just looking to rebound after bad relationships and it turns out he's my soul mate. I was able to see him for who he really was (my perfect partner) because I was actually looking at him instead of constantly watching "the relationship." I hope that makes sense and helps! Previously I had only dated men I had been friends with before, but I wasn't getting the princess treatment I wanted (because I was "one of the guys") so finding someone I hadn't met was actually better for me.
