There's a gallery board?  Wow.  Who knew.  I have to say that I avoid the neoboards like the plague.  I never know what anyone's talking about (there seems to be a lot of board slang or shorthand that I just don't get) and when I have ventured to post I get few, if any, replies.  Maybe I should perservere.
 
I don't have a lot of experience with HTS items.  I have a habit of burying stuff back in my SDB and intending to try again at a later time and then not getting around to it.  *shrugs* Story of my life.

Hey guys, Zulia here. I returned to Neopets a month ago after a few years of hiatus. I missed the JS transition, and several site changes. Now I'm back and more serious than ever about improving my account. I collect weird and gross foods/items, avatars, trophies, and neopoints by way of the stock market and food club betting. I just fought in my first Obelisk battle with the Brutes (yay! they won) and got interested in battledome for the first time ever. I love TDN because they have the best resources for Neo users. I rely on TDN to help me collect avatars, get great scores on games, do my dailies, figure out how battledome works, and know whats going on in Neopia.

I've been registered for these forums for long enough, I figured it was time to come out and say "hello!"... so... Hello! 
 
While I might be new around here, I've been on Neopets since basically the beginning. (Wish I still remembered the original account!) I'm mostly active, but occasionally take a brief hiatus when the real world gets hectic. 
 
Over the years I've been playing, I've never really focused on account improvement until recently. I've got a decent start on my stamps and neodeck, a few easy trophies... currently, my main focus is on collecting avatars. I'm also working on collecting my dream pets. 
 
I collect "Alice in Wonderland" themed items in my gallery, which is also a work in progress... Always interested in new things that might fit well in there!

Well. I'm back for my yearly return to neopets for the AC! :D As you can tell from my name, I'll be support Lost Desert for my 9th year in a row! I'm as always going to try and break my record from last year. So Lvl 17 this year. (Dear gosh please help me lol :p) and also going to run my own tournament cause brackets are back . Anyway. Go Lost Desert and good luck to everyone!!

It's going to be tough this year for me to do AC as hardcore as last year. Ramadan starts in June and my folks will be limiting my computer time and we spend most our nights at our place of worship (how else can we read our Book in one month's time?). So, I guess KI will just have to pull it off without my help, right?  :laughingsmiley:  So, good luck to everyone and their teams, may we have the best AC ever even with all of our challenges. I've always liked the "Eventide" color, on any Neopet. Looks good on the Moehog, too. Only criticism I have would be on the Moehog's mane. The red, yellow, orange colors look good, but seem out of place, since those "Eventide" colors start at the bottom of the Moehog. Maybe a mid-night blue fading to black, at the top, with more stars would look a little better? But, overall, I think it is good.
 
EDIT: I like the camo color, too. It is different and it fits a Moehog. Did they not release an outfit?

Hello all, I'm a brand new user here on the forums. Not new to neopets though; between the lost forever childhood account and my old main I've probably been a neopian for 10+ years now, but I've got a terrible habit of playing a lot for about 3-4 weeks and then not playing for 1-2 months at a time. I miss events and plots all the time and it's awful because I also miss out on their exclusive avatars.  :sad01_anim:
 
However, this is not my mistake. The mistake I have made is that I looked up a username I wanted on the site (the username I have across most of my internet accounts) and...it wasn't taken. Flash forward ten minutes and I've made the account, after an hour I'm debating whether this is worth it, and many hours later I've decided to make it my new pet project...a full overhaul and slow, painstaking, uphill transfer from my old main to my new one, followed by the slow, also painstaking journey of trying to reach the level my old account was on.
 
I am suffering, but at least it is by my own choice.
 
Anyway, as for why I'm finally joining the forums after all these years:  I've been a lone player most of this time, and I have some friends in real life that have accounts, but they play very casually...if at all. I feel like it would be kind of nice to have neofriends to talk to and maybe sometimes spoil. Also, just reaching 219 avatars on my own took about five years (again, I play very hard when I play, and then completely walk away for months at a time...) and I've never been lent or traded anything in that time. All my own sweat and tears, and now I get to start all over again. It's exciting! And painful. This decision will probably be referred to as "the incident" for many years to come.
 
Either way, I can't promise to always be around or always be responsive, but I play semi-regularly and collect avatars, so I'm here to help others with that as best I can!

Hello everyone - I have been on Neopets on and off for more than ten years across a few accounts, but have recently started playing more regularly. I'm racking up some avatars (149 as of today) and trying new games (I've been playing Faerie Bubbles, Snowmuncher, and Sutek's Tomb without really engaging with the site for years). I'm running a really bad plushie empire in my first game of Plushie Tycoon. My first color change with the lab ray got me Maractite, which is rad - I don't have a dream colour so it's a fun ride rather than stressful.
 
I'm a long time user of TDN articles and guides and look forward to being more involved with the community here.

So, today I decided, "Hey, how about I enter Formidinem into the Beauty Contest?"
The only problem was that drawing Aishas are so hard because of their antennae-ears(?)

Here I am, just doing a daily faerie quest, a quest for the grey faerie. Poor little thing, no magic of her own, and all she wants is a little Mallard. So, I go to Neopia Central and buy one for only 268 np. I rush back to her, and she gets help from another faerie to repay her debt. What faerie does she get to help you ask? The Fountain Faerie! I can't believe it, people have gone years, YEARS, without getting a quest from this particular faerie, and I get her reward. I hear she has expensive quest items to boot, and I just paid 268 neopoints.
