Chocolate Ice Cream is probably that expensive because it has a very low drop rate. Our BD prize testing team doesn't have a ton of data for the Central Arena, but what we do has shows a drop rate of less than 0.5%.

This is a time of wait and see. While change is the only constant in the universe, slow change is lasting change and not all change is for the better. I want to see new and exciting content but I don't want the site to turn into something so different that I no longer want to be here. Games like Key quest has appeal to those of us who don't play the flash games as much because you just don't have the time to perfect it enough to get a trophy or even make the maximum np. It allowed for greater interaction on the site as well between players other than offsite fan sites and the neoboards. The chat feature needed help frankly and once glitches were resolved, Key quest was a keeper IMO. Some site events guarantee that people come back year after year such as Advent Calendar or Altador Cup.
 
I think part of Neopets' problem in the past has been marketing and advertising and a certain level of iniquity directed to international players. I first discovered the site in 1999 through a banner ad. These days, ad blockers block banner and side ads. Even I block the ads on the site because they take up valuable page space and slow down page loading plus can be vulnerabilities that leave you open to malware attacks. Neopets and their owners needed to find other ways to advertise and market the brand beyond internet ads. Zazzle, occasional team ups with McDonald's and others just isn't enough. If you didn't know what Neopets was in the first place, you wouldn't have been interested in Zazzle merchandise or even the toy in the McDonald's kids meal. Those approaches were basically preaching to the choir. Hopefully Jumpstart understands how to market and advertise an online game site like this if their aim is to increase membership and revenue from it. They also need to understand the membership on the site... a lot of players have grown up so this site has many adult players and so there's a lot of brand loyalty. That's something they need to consider when they are making changes. You want to attract new players; what demographic are you going to target? Do you want to build on your brand loyalty; lots of considerations and planning for the way forward. They also need to prioritize the basics such as a site that works with minimal glitches and interruptions. You want a smoothly running, efficient network where your're maintaining and expanding as needed and not fighting fires every five minutes. I hope all goes well and we end up with a Neopets we all can continue to love, play on and enjoy.

Guess people can't say too much, but some of us here definitely knew before JN even announced it. We just chose not to say anything to keep the person who informed us private and to not start some mass hysteria like you are trying to do.
 
Yes, it's true. Most, if not all of the TNT members we have known for years are no longer working for Neopets as of Friday, March 6th. If that makes you uncomfortable then you can choose to stop playing. But if that doesn't, you can continue to enjoy the game as you have for however many years you have been playing.

Neo's always had the different language options, so it's going to have been something implimented in Adam and Donna's time. I guess it's just that Jumpstart's the first of its owners since that time that don't see it as a viable option to keep, maybe because the online numbers are so small compared to what they used to be. :(

My stockmarket portfolio loaded very quickly, it's not done that before (I've only had stocks for a month or so).

Yes, until you fall out of the trophy spots. Which happens when someone beats your score, or on reset day (which is supposed to be the first of the month, but it didn't happen in February or March).
 
Man, I should really take the time to get a super-high Spinacles score; had I done it in January, I'd have raked in the NP for at least 3 months!

I much prefer the grand winter wings because the icicle wings look flat and rather two dimensional to me. The angle of the grand winter wings is miles better, I think, it fits in with her existing wings, where as the icicle wings don't even look like they're attached, to be honest. More like they're flat on a wall and she's standing in front of them.

The WoE gave me pet chickaroo today, yay me...so I was doing other dailies in the hope of gaining enough onhand funds for the herbal scrambled eggs. Instead of giving me anything the grundo said visiting the plushie makes everyone feel better, my pet seemed better already, and so he was!
 
Is this something that regularly happens if your pet's sick when it visits the grundo, or was it just happy happenstance?
