I did not suggest Tanizard because in that colour it did not look good (for me), but now being pink, that is a different matter, it goes much better with you Neopet.

Haunted Woods ftw, always! I usually only end up playing Make Some Noise though, and the one where you just shoot goals.

Kind of feeling 'meh' about the colors but they aren't terrible. Really liking the wearables though

After reading that a few people have returned to Neopets after being away for years and the recent topic about Key Quest, what's the one thing you miss the most about Neopets? 
For me, it's definitely Key Quest. I would play that game every day, always on 2 player mode to ensure I got 1st or 2nd place. I had gotten so good at those mini games! I do also miss TNT releasing new avatars on a more regular basis. I feel like I'm slowly reaching that point where most of the one's I have left are near impossible for me to obtain. 

Something like if they read a BattleDome guide for their species, it would increase their strength and defense levels? I would love that!

Big smile to TNT, it usually looks like they do a mediocre job (at most) with Neopets' designs lately... but I think this one is really good, and I do not even like the "candy" style. Well done TNT.

I never really thought about it that way, however I do wish they REALLY WORKED on the pets.  For example, How to be a cheat champion, Secrets of the money tree, or Maths nightmare tips.  When I first started neopets (and I wasn't a child- lol) I really thought that reading the books would make my pets better at those things.  LMAO.

I've gotten a few interesting books from Kiko Pop lately (My newest one is How I Lost Me Leg), and I often find myself wishing that some of these books were real. Cybunny Down is another one I'd love to read if it were a real book. I'm sure it's a Neopian take on Watership Down though. Truth be told, I'd settle for an e-reader format. Does anyone else share my sentiment?

Unfortunately, that "trick" no longer works for "new" books - books created since 2015? (2016?) (Not 100% sure exactly when). Neopets stopped translating books/items into other languages, which is why the trick does not work. If you change the language on Neopets, and the book keeps its "English" title, or the book completely disappears from your inventory, then it has not been translated, and your pet won't be able to read it. Kind of a bummer. This Neopian Times Editorial may explain it better (Neopian Times Editorial, Issue: 704, 23rd day of Collecting, Y17):
"Hi CQ, since certain books and foods can't be read/fed to our pets, and you stopped us from changing language to do so, getting a trophy is now completely impossible for most pets. Is there any way to change the trophy system or to make sure every pet can read/eat every item? Many of us love to read and feed, and to now know that our efforts will never be rewarded makes me (and a lot of other users) really sad. Is there something you guys could do about the avatar HS list as well? Since there are so many retired avatars it's almost impossible for new players to get anywhere near the top. Also, CC was absolutely amazing, loved it! I really hope it's a yearly thing. Much love :*~ cinnamon_girl"

Now, as for the quirk of your pet not liking certain items, we will discuss changing those restrictions to make it fair for all pets. Also, we're glad you loved the Charity Corner!"
So, there is "hope" that the restrictions will be changed (but not holding my breath).
And, as far as the book disappearing from your inventory, when you change the language back to "English", the book should be back/appear.
EDIT: I think the avocado socks are neat! Better than a fence...

I chose the Avocado Negg today (it's really cute, by the way!) and got the socks. I'm glad there's a new book to try for! 

That is a great idea, I keep opening Willow Neggs hoping for some more books... but it seems I'm out of luck.

Unless I'm mistaken, the only prize still worth more than a few thousand NP is the book. So, I keep picking the Willow Negg. So far, just the dress and the foreground for me. I was looking at the past festivals on Jellyneo. Is it just me, or do the past prizes current values seem much higher than ones from this year's event will likely be in the future? Also, if more people play this year, does that increased supply depress prize values, or increase demand and raise their values?

But yeah, I have to agree... I actually wouldn't mind Clay if they had released a second colour to go with it - preferably something more interesting like Marble or Candy, as ladycanary mentioned. But as a single release, it's absolutely boring.

When I first saw the items on DTI I was like YESSS GIMME THAT JULIE NEWMAR REALNESS, but after I saw them on the Krawk I was a bit disappointed. First of all, I'm not a big fan of the species so I kind of wish they would have done this outfit for a different one, but that's neither here nor there. The biggest issue is THAT EYE MASK, which doesn't look like it was designed for the Krawk at all. I feel like whoever came up with the outfit idea sort of forgot that Krawks only show one eye, and only realised this when they were about to draw it. They were probably like "well, now I have to make it work somehow". And it didn't  I'm not too happy with the wig either, I don't like how the Krawk's spikes aren't hidden and the shading is slightly confusing (and it's a bit too blonde, but now I'm just nitpicking). With all that said, I still appreciate them doing an oldschool Catwoman outfit, it was a nice surprise even if it isn't perfect.

Why don't we trade our "extras" when the Festival is over? I am thinking 3 fences is enough and want to try my luck on the Nesting Negg now. 

Does anyone else miss Kari? I always thought it was more creative to have the Negg Faerie hold the festival rather than a Cybunny

I know, but I like to choose just one, unless the time is almost over and I cannot decide no matter how much I try. But I think that only happened once or twice.

I agree, sometimes the boat will make jump your pet, and lose it, but if you have 2, there is a chance at least 1 will stay on the boat. I try to have as much petpets as possible, that way I have more chances (apart from more points), unless I have 4 petpets, 2 on one side of the boat, and 2 on the other, in that case it is best to lose 2, or you could lose all 4, at least in my experience.

25!!?! Seriously? I've been dreading this game the entire event..... and they give us such a LOW score... I feel like my trophy this year wasn't really worked for at all. I beat EVERY game in about 1-5 tries..... *sigh* I'm hoping that won't lower the price of the items gold trophies get..... kind of sucks....

This was definitely the easiest Daily Dare I have ever participated in, but I still haven't managed a gold trophy (Barf Boat!), so you can at least take comfort in the fact that many of us still failed to get gold. I know it probably means less than having to work super hard for it, but for many of us, this DD was difficult enough to still have to settle for silver, so it's not like the gold trophy is completely meaningless. They just changed the difficulty level this year. Perhaps AAA will be back next year, and I'll be back to never even considering going for gold, because as an average gamer, gold usually simply isn't an option for me. (It was fun to think it might've been possible this year though. And while I know that this was the easiest DD I've ever participated in, I still struggled with several of the games. The only reason I feel it was too easy, is because I know that I'm average at most games, so good gamers would've been bored during this DD.)

I did not mean that everyday had to be that hard, I do not have the time either, but at least once on the weekend. It is just that I do not feel happy about getting a gold trophy if it was not much of an effort... Last year it was more difficult.
