I don't know if it's just me or if Neo is being super nice to people lately, but I got a pirate Draik morphing potion last week and this week I zapped my Ogrin and it turned into a blue Lutari.
 
I think I win Neopets, I should probably sign out and never return. I don't think it gets much better than that. :woot:

Well, Okemirushi didn't come up with much on Google, but there is a game for Nintendo DS called Okamiden, also known as Okami. One of the characters in the game called Kuninushi was renamed to just Nushi in the North American version of the game. Your pet's name could be an accidental misspelling of that... that's one of my best guesses.
 
Also, according to Wikipedia, Ōkuninushi (大国主) is a divinity (kami) in Japanese Shinto. His name literally translates to "Great Land Master", and he is believed to be originally the ruler of Izumo Province, until he was replaced by Ninigi. In compensation, he was made ruler of the unseen world of spirits and magic. He is believed to be a god of nation-building, farming, business, and medicine.
 
I'm leaning more towards that game though for the inspiration.

After my search for the perfect N64 my mom found one. Its in mint condition! I don't have games for it yet, but we're possibly going to a flea market and I would think that they would have video games.
 
I'm so happy! Its in my favorite color too.

I also used the TDN guide while playing Wingoball. I had to start using it around level 19 when I got stuck. I eventually got the score I needed, but it wasn't exactly Wingoball I was worried about at the time. Anyway, I'm still golden now, but only because the guides on TDN really help a lot!

I'm really good at puzzle games, but sometimes my memory can be... selective. I like that some games on Neopets can strengthen one's mind when played on a regular basis.
 
And I'm glad there's a lot of adults on Neo. I get picked on all the time for playing Neo, but it helps me relax, and when I'm relaxed, I'm in a good mood. Me in a good mood = other people in a good mood.
 
I also think the majority of active users are veterans. People who have played consecutively for 5 years or longer. Those who grew up with Neopets!

I'm pushing 28 on my next birthday and I've been playing Neo at least 5 years. I have all sorts of ages on my NF list, but I heard of a user one time (and please don't ask me her name because I've totally forgotten...) anyway, she was over 70 years old, retired, and unable to do many everyday things, so she used Neopets to keep her mind in good shape. I heard she uses games like Kiko Match to help her retain and strengthen her memory. :)

feel free to add more, but I will start us off with the first:
 
puzzle toys. When you play with one of your pets, it should open a screen with a jigsaw puzzle. Solving the puzzle would earn you a few neopoints or something actually useful.
 
 
or, of course, the obvious: clothing items and accessories (looking at you, hair chopsticks) should all be wearable.

I've had severe clinical depression over half my life, so I know all the symptoms very well. You may want to speak to a counselor or to a physician about your condition because depression has many forms, and the longer it goes untreated, the worse it will be. Depression is something extremely difficult to overcome, but it is possible for some. I hope everything gets better for you, hun. Stay strong.

Way back in the day, when my account was new, my short attention span got the best of me while I was stocking my shop with codestones, and didn't realize that my price wasn't but two digits long. By the time I submitted the price and realized my mistake, my computer browser crashed, and the codestones were all gone when it worked again a minute later. I lost a good 25k profit that day, and it made me mad, but when a user Neomailed me shortly after saying "Thanks for selling your codestones so cheap, I really needed them!" I just pretended like they were donated to the Money Tree and left it alone.
 
Whomever got the codestones had their day made, so it wasn't a complete loss. :)

I was invited to THREE dinners, and had to attend them all today. I never want to eat again...
 
Menu for dinner 1: Ham, turkey, creamed corn, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, dressing, cranberry sauce, turkey gravy, turkey giblet gravy, green beans with whole potatoes and ham in them, deviled eggs, cole slaw, fudge cookies, rolls, pumpkin pie with whipped cream, cherry pie, homemade blueberry cobbler, coconut cake, and individual homemade pineapple upside down cakes.
 
Menu for dinner 2: Same as above, minus the pineapple upside down cakes, cherry pie, cobbler, and cookies. This dinner had coconut cake, sweet potato pie, pumpkin pie, and fruit bread for dessert. Everything was homemade.
 
Menu for dinner 3: Turkey, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, dressing, cranberry sauce, giblet gravy, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, deviled eggs, buttered biscuits (the southern kind), pumpkin pie, apple pie, and chocolate cupcakes.
 
Not only do I have leftovers from all three dinners, two additional people came to my house and dropped off leftovers. My new landlord was one of those people. He and his wife made a 37 pound turkey (2.67 stone) and fed 33 people with it. They had about half the turkey left with a whole pan of dressing, a jar of giblet gravy, and an entire pan of strawberry cake with fresh whipped cream and strawberries on it.
 
The second person to bring leftovers brought a myriad of a combo of dinners one and two, plus banana nut bread, chocolate fudge cake, and a Coca-Cola.
 
Did I mention I didn't want to eat ever again? Wish I could share all this food with my neighbors, but they have as much leftovers as I do already, lol. My brother went into a convenient store earlier with a friend of his to get a soda, and the person working in there gave them 3 plates of food to take home from their own dinner, as much as they said they already had enough. I wish I could have cooked some food for the needy in our community, but a local church was already doing that.
 
In short, in words of our Neopets, "I'm too full, NO MORE food PLEASE!!"

No! I used to love watching the dog show every year... Unfortunately I can't find it online anywhere, and I don't have TV. I miss watching the parade and dog show.

The new pets are so cute and they kind of remind me of a Pokemon! I created a blue one on my main today. I wasn't paying attention on the cupcake (I was trying to get the pink one for the health) but somehow I got a blue cupcake instead which gave Sandrea a defense boost. I don't plan on giving Sera up to the pound, but I hope people don't just create the new pets just to abandon them later.

Well, Sandrea, my Aisha was my "first born" so to speak, and Casura was my second, so naturally, they are my pride and joy on Neo. Casura is mainly the one "looking pretty" as my dream pet was a Faerie Ixi. Sandrea is a jack of all trades, and my first pick for everything. Sandrea has the highest stats, making her the sole major battle pet (unless I wish to lose a battle quickly for a plot achievement or something), she also has the highest intelligence, the highest fishing skill, the most faerie abilities, and the most desirable resume in the Faerie Employment office. Naturally, nearly every outside story I get inspired to write is about Sandrea in particular.
 
Casura has the second highest fishing skill and intelligence, but the weakest stats. She's not really a fighter, and she's only done a couple of jobs at the Faerie Employment office, but I believe Casura to be the most easy on the eyes out of all of my pets, however, Casura's petpets are the main ones that get zapped with the petpet lab ray before heading back into Grave Danger.
 
Alu was adopted from the pound and is considered to be the "break-even" of the pets. Alu has higher stats than Casura, but somewhat less intelligence, faerie abilities, and job experience. Alu is formally my lab rat, as when she turned into a female Xweetok, I decided to stop and keep her that way. In a sense, Alu is still a "lab rat" because Alu is always the active one when I do anything regarding the Coincidence. If Sandrea were to lose any battle stats, I would seriously flip tables. Under no circumstance is Sandrea to lose any stats, so it's a toss-up between Alu and Casura, mostly being Alu as far as that goes.
 
Alu also is the "break-even" when it comes to other areas of chance. For example, the wheels, apple bobbing, and the Expellibox... those places offer a chance to where hit points could be lost or illnesses can be had. Alu is usually the one on the line for this as well because it's a point of keeping Sandrea as healthy as possible in order for her to do her battles in the BD. Usually, Alu is fine during these events, but should she get sick, she gets cured as soon as possible. I just avoid Sandrea from it because I have a bad habit of forgetting to make sure she doesn't get sick as my most likely active pet from day to day. Nonetheless, I dislike it greatly if any of my pets are hurt, sick, hungry, or anything less than delighted.
 
Look at it like this. Casura would be a district office manager of a corporation, whereas Alu would be the office President, but Sandrea would be the Executive CEO and absolute boss of the corporation. It's like that. :)

I was playing Sakhmet Solitaire and received Dried Ummagine as a prize. I just normally throw everything I win in my shop (saving up those nps). I went to retrieve my daily till total and price some things I've gotten in some random events. I couldn't find the Dried Ummagine on the SSW, which I thought was strange, so I went on over to Jelly Neo's Item data base and nothing. I went to the trading post and the lowest price people are asking is 350K! What the what???

Thank you everyone! I did really well in high school and graduated with honors, so I don't see why I wouldn't officially be accepted. I got a chance to visit the library to print out a form I needed and I was a little overwhelmed because of all the books and the students in there. I hope that when we get a working car that I can be in that library too, and inside a classroom.
 
I want to do everything I can while I am there. I always had an obsession with knowledge, and if things work out, my brother (whom I raise by myself, whom will also turn 18 this December) may get to attend with me someday.
 
I had never applied to this school, but I had a shock in the financial aid office today when I had to fill out an online form. I had to create a pin number or something, and the website asked me for my mother's maiden name, and I wondered why since I had never done this before...
 
I WAS ALREADY IN THE SYSTEM.
 
My old address was there. An email account I KNOW FOR A FACT I did not create was there.
 
The ONLY person who could have done it was my mother, who died 9 years ago. I had no idea. She must have done it after I graduated...
 
I guess it was a sign from her... I miss her so much, and I always wanted to make her proud. For once, I feel like my life is going in the right direction...
 
I am excited and can't wait for the day when I can officially call myself a STUDENT again! :D :D

I applied for college for the first time since I graduated high school 9 years ago. Things happened and well, I just never got my chance. I always wanted to go to college and make something of myself, but life and circumstances always got in the way. Today, I had the chance to apply for a technical college. It's not my dream school, but it's an education. Beggars really can't be choosers.
 
Anyway, I went down and applied and talked with some people. I have to pay a fee for my application, fill out some more financial aid forms, and take a placement test. I'm otherwise awaiting an acceptance letter.
 
I'm very excited. I've wanted to do more with myself, and now it seems it may happen. If things go well, I could be starting in January, at the beginning of next quarter! I'm proud of myself for still having the initiative to try, even after all these years, and I just wanted to share that with you all.
