I've had to resort to the Throw Pillows method as well... Yesterday I used
Sword of Malum + Thistleberry Pingrenade + Warlock's Rage
Sword of Malum + Blazing Embers + Throw Pillows

and today Sword of Malum + Blazing Embers + Throw Pillows again. She's down to 54HP and I almost considered not waiting for tomorrow, but I have 382HP and I heard she can take down a lot more than that with one hit D:

I mostly only spot pop culture references in the pet day outfits, when they're clearly based on some character or other. Several of them have been based on Game of Thrones. I'm pretty sure there are at least two Jon Snow outfits. Or maybe one is supposed to be Robb? Another item (not pet-specific) they even went so far as to name it Danys Dress. I like when they do these references in a punny, clever way, but a lot of the time they just completely rip off other ideas, which is annoying and unoriginal to me. But anyway.
My bet would be that they added in new molding and paneling to give it an antique feel

How I discovered Neopets is a bit odd to say the least. Instead of finding Neopets through the site, I discovered it simply by being exposed to the merchandise. When I was around 6 years old, my mom got me a starry Gelert toy as well as a voice-activated Scorchio. I had no idea what Neopets was, but my older brother who was 11 probably did and that's how I assume my mom found the toys. The starry Gelert had been one of my favorite toys throughout childhood, and sometimes I still wonder if it is in storage or I sold it with many of my other toys. As I grew into a small child (8-11) I was exposed to the Nickelodeon era of Neopets, so it was impossible to go into a toy store without seeing the merchandise. I remember I bought a rainbow Wocky and Chomby with a code on their tag, and that's when I made my first Neopets account. I probably ended up making 10 different accounts over the years playing off and on, each time after about a month I would get bored and forget about it.
The reason I am into Neopets as much as I a am now is due to a post I saw on an anthropomorphic facebook group. Someone posted “What is your favorite Neopet species?” It felt like I had a lightbulb go off in my head, I hadn’t heard that name for so long I honestly figured it died out. I googled “Neopet star dog” and found a Starry Gelert. I commented saying Gelerts was my fave, and then I started to think. Why not try Neopets again? I have a lot of spare time now since I am healing from a foot surgery and my classes are online.. I can just play it when I do not have work due. I did a password reset on one of my old accounts and as I started to play, I realized that Neopets was actually pretty fun. It wasn’t just for kids, in fact, many things in Neopets would anger parents today.
Funny thing is about this whole story.. is now that I regularly play Neopets, Jetsam and Hissi are my favorites!

Welcome! I'm glad you decided to join TDN and enter The Runway!
You can create your entry at Dress To Impress, where you'll find a tab 'Sharing' at the right side of the page. There, you'll find 4 links, the first is the animations link, called 'Outfit page' (it'll look something like this: http://impress.openneo.net/outfits/1162906). This link will lead to the animated picture of your customisation, like the one you just worked on, unlike the 3 links underneath that, which just show the static image of your custom (in 3 different sizes).
Here's a screenshot to make things a little clearer:

And yes, you can send your entry to me. :)
If you have any other questions (about The Runway, or in general), don't hesitate to ask!

When I go through my SDB, I look at the rarity labels to have an idea of what range they fall in... For instance, r101 items are (special), r99 are (super rare), r95-98 are (ultra rare)... And items that are below r75 don't have a label.
Edit: here's the full list of item rarities and their corresponding labels.

@Yuiina HOLD UP. Are you saying you own 11 real life goats???

I like you even more now!!!
I think Biscuit is a great colour to customise, since its pretty neutral. I'm actually going to paint my pet (Elynsi) Biscuit very soon (I recently morphed her into an Acara!). Anyway, out of all those colours aside from Biscuit, I think Pink is probably one of the best options, since the pink eyes don't stand out so much (same thing with Red, but I personally prefer Pink). Plushie and Royalgirl are great colours in and of themselves, however a lot less versatile when it comes to customisation.

@Duma my work is done then Glad I could help. Keep us updated about her :)
@deboratibi Exactly my reaction when I read from TNT they were created based on deer.  For me they were always goats and always be!
Goat is also my Zodiac sign!!! Did you know I have 11 goats as pets?

I'm glad I was able to help, I had lots of fun with Elvithia to be honest
We had the same thought about the lime green part on the dress but maybe for you it wouldn't make a difference.
Biscuit has an amazing eye color, that I love, but I am afraid wether it'll look good or not on the 3 outfits and why can't Biscuit Ixis be like this

    With FEW chocolate chips!!!

I'm really going nuts trying to figure out the best color for her
Biscuit Christmas Pink Plushie Purple Red Royalgirl Speckled White

As for the male, I'll probably go for pirate. It's a neutral color, wanted the eyes to have another color but maybe in the future I can get him some contacts or something :)

    My future female Ixi color

    http://impress.openneo.net/outfits/1589371
I want to create a female Ixi because I find their specific species outfits very pretty! And even though Ixis are "supposedly" created resembling dears (which I don't think so), they're very similar to goats. And I love goats! So I need this Ixi ASAP

There are 3 major outfits I'm in love with
     and the one above.
And I need help to find a color that looks good with all of them!!!
I like White but it is bothering me a lot the color of the eyes when I use the Folk outfit on her. I know there are contacts I can get but they're NC not NP. Yuina does not have NC.
    My future male Ixi color

    http://impress.openneo.net/outfits/1564876
Same as the female, I fell in love with Ixi's male outfits

And same as female.. I'd like to choose a color that'd look good with all of them.
I was thinking on purple or pirate but would like to hear your opinions :)

To give everyone a chance to realise the Runway is back (and to allow me to figure everything out ) both the entry and voting periods will last two weeks this time. I plan on going back to one week again later on, but we'll see how it goes.
The same rules still apply, so be sure to read up on them if you've forgotten them.
    Current theme: Easter Cybunny
Description: Dress up a Cybunny in celebration of Easter.
Entering period: Sunday, March 11 - Sunday, March 25
Voting period: Monday, March 26 - Sunday, April 8

    Thanks again, everyone!
I just wanted to let you all know that my mom got surgery yesterday, and everything went well! I had a little moment of panic at the hospital because my mom's surgery was supposed to begin at 1 pm, and I went to her room at 4 and she wasn't there. Her roommate said "Oh, are you looking for the woman who was here? She's in the operation room" and I was like WHAT, because this kind of surgery is supposed to take about an hour and a half, at most. I asked a few nurses where she was, and they said they would call the people at the surgical centre to make sure she was okay, but no one was answering the phone. I kept thinking, that's not a good sign. Every 5 minutes or so I'd ask the nurses to try again, until one of them said, a bit too quickly "they answered, and they said she's okay". I thought, maybe she just said that to make me stop asking  lol But then I saw my mom arriving on a gurney, and she was already having a giggly chat with a nurse, so I immediately knew she was alright.  Turns out the surgery actually began a lot later than scheduled, because of course it was. It's a hospital. I should have figured that out, but in my defence, no one made it seem like that's what happened, lol.
She came back home today, and right now she's in pain. I'm hoping it will go away soon, or at least become a lot more tolerable. The doctor gave her some strong pain medication, so I think she'll be fine.

Yes, I second what Nielo said.  Of course we worry about our family members.  Especially our moms.
Yay!! I'm glad your mom is getting around fairly well now.  That just goes to show her determination.  I am glad she doesn't want to use a wheelchair, although it might be better for her for longer stints.  By the sound of it, your mom will do great.  As far as the anesthesia goes, the problem is usually an allergy to it.  If your mom has already had previous surgeries, she should be fine.

A lot of your mum's fears are fears of the unknown, aren't they. Same with most of us when faced with something we don't have experience of; we populate our minds with all kinds of fears because we don't know what to expect.
I'm pretty sure that once the op is done she'll manage better than she expected, just because things are actually a reality at that point and hopefully not the agony she's maybe imagining now.

deboratibi reacted to rntracy1 in Nay for stitches in my hand
My doctor told me to do that with the Ibuprofen/Acetaminophen.  I am not a huge fan of Tylenol but I think in this case, if it keeps the pain at bay, I am willing to try anything.  My hand is so swollen it looks like a balloon. It is warm, red, very tight, I can't bend it.  Not to mention the deep ache from the bruising.  I wish smacking their bottoms would work, lol.  My Rotti weighs more than I do.  He pins me against the wall and licks me.  He is taller than I am when he stands on his hind legs, and he weighs 125-130 lbs.  The pitbull is 60 lbs.  They are almost 200 lbs of pure muscle.  Let's put it this way, they BETTER protect me if anyone comes into my house.  lol.
You don't sound rude at all.  In fact, I thank you for your concern and I welcome your questions.  Now to answer them.  You are absolutely right, I do not want my dog to die.  Most likely the pitbull.  I FEEL that I know their trigger now pretty well.  Like I said, she can take ANYTHING from him, except his tennis ball.  We have removed the tennis balls.  Like I said before, it isn't fair to the Rotti to take his toys away from him.  And I will not do that.  He will have them outside in the yard by himself.  But when they are together, we know they cannot have them.  You are right, if we don't take the proper precautions, it will happen again.  We have to be responsible owners and recognize that.  That is why we are going to get professionals involved at this point.  This isn't the worst fight.  For THEM, it was the LEAST for injuries.  Neither one of them had any wounds.  For my husband and me, it was the worst for injuries, I think because it was the hardest to break up.
When we do separate them, even over night, they whine and cry.  They love each other.  That's why I don't get why they fight like that.  I mean, MAYBE if we let them fight it out, they would stop on their own, but I don't see that happening.
So again, thank you so much for your question.  I don't feel it was rude at all.  I totally understand where you are coming from.  In fact, I am grateful for all the love and support from everyone here.
Unfortunately, being a large, very strong breed, when they bite, even when unprovoked like my situation, they can inflict a tremendous amount of damage.  This gives them a bad rep.  You aren't going to hear about all the little dog bites that don't do any damage.  And honestly, people don't report them.  I wasn't going to go to the hospital with mine!!!!! lol.  How ridiculous, right?  The reason I did is because it wouldn't stop bleeding.  It just bled and bled and bled.  My husband said, "If the police came, they would have thought someone was murdered here."  Even after the stitches, it kept oozing.  It's STILL oozing.  I had no choice, and I really didn't want to go.  I knew I would have to report my dog.
I really feel bad when I read stories about people abusing animals, and when it is a pitbull people make comments such as, "good, the only good pitbull is a dead pitbull.  Every pitbull should be abused."  It is such a horrible thing to say.  (I know you aren't saying that Angelo).  I am just speaking about people being misinformed about the breed, because they really are sweet dogs.  If you raise any dog to be mean, it will be.  Just like what happened to me was MY fault, it has nothing to do with her breed.  Only the damage she inflicted due to her strength.
    Thanks for your well wishes.
LOL. You did it AGAIN!!! That was funny. (I guess I did spell Chihuahua incorrectly too, eh?).  I suppose you are right, it WOULD be the biggest deal ever, hence you have made my point.  Pitbulls, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Dobermans, etc. are BIG, STRONG, dogs, capable of inflicting a lot of damage when they bite. That doesn't mean they are mean, vicious dogs.  I know some small, annoying yappers that are mean and vicious, but because they cannot inflict the type of damage a larger dog can, they don't have the reputation.  I will guarantee you, if every SINGLE dog bite, I mean EVERY ONE, was reported, even the ones that do not inflict major damage, I bet you would find that the major of them are NOT large dog breeds.  However, those are the ones that make the news because, well, like you said, if a little dog could inflict that type of damage it would be the biggest deal ever.  It's the ones that do the damage that you hear about, but you rarely hear about the motive behind it.
OMG, NO WAY! I would never put my dog down for something that she did not do on purpose, that was MY FAULT.  I take full responsibility that they fought in the first place and that I put my hand in harm's way.  I did that to HELP the situation, but I ended up making things worse.  I would have a hard time relinquishing my dog if she outright attacked me!  I would probably try to make excuses for her.  I was afraid that everyone would say, "you are crazy for keeping your dog after an injury like that!" I am glad that people understand that she wasn't attacking me, she was doing what animals do and I got in the middle of it.  Actually, I THANK YOU for your understanding of dogs and realizing that it was MY fault and not hers.  LOL.  I did not feel you were mocking/insulting me at all.  In fact, I feel much more than partially responsible. I feel mostly responsible. I honestly expected way more criticism regarding my sympathy for dog and for keeping her.  Everyone here has been amazing.
I think for the most part, dogs are pretty tolerant with children.  They seem to know.  When they maul children or attack, I think the child is doing something to antagonize the dog(as you said your child was- although your child was just a baby- some of these kids know better).  My dogs have always been very tolerant with my kids.

Wow, 16 stitches! I can't even imagine how bad that hurts.
I don't have dogs, but if I did, I wouldn't blame them either if something like this happened. If anyone thinks your doggo deserves to be punished or whatever because of this, well, I hope they don't have pets of their own. One time my cat hurt me because he got his paw stuck under a door, and he was so desperate that he didn't realise I was trying to help him. He bit my finger several times - I still have the scars today (that happened at least 5 years ago). I got 0 stitches, so I can't compare to your injury, but the point is, I 100% understand why he bit me. The nurses at the ER certainly didn't, so they made fun of me. They were like, "how did you let a cat do this to you?"
Anyway, I hope the pain becomes a lot more manageable soon, and that your hand heals as quickly as possible!

She's a bit worried about the surgery because of anaesthesia and the fact that her knee will hurt more afterwards (because right now she says it doesn't hurt, unless she touches it). The funny thing is I'm not particularly scared of anaesthesia (even though I know it can be dangerous), so I'm not thinking about it that much. But I'm very concerned about pain...

Thank you so much, Tracy!  I'm glad to hear your mom did it. My mom is also kinda heavy, so I'm impressed with how she's been moving around using a walker and her "good" leg (I put good in quotes because of her arthritis haha). I thought she'd prefer a wheelchair. Yay for moms being such troopers!

@Nielo I think you're right! That makes a lot of sense  Thanks, Nielo!
