Old, slow pc's actually work better for that game. Congrats on your trophy Angeló!

Never Ending Story is a must see! My picture came from Pete's dragon though.

Mine is at 6 too, should be seven though. We'll see if they ever update it to the right number.

wow, one handed typing! It's not that I can't do that but not as fast and not blind! I've been drilled since I was 10 years old into the two handed, blinded, typing that I just can't any other way. I can type pretty fast too as long as it's with two hands. I -should- clean the house and work some in the yard today as I have an extra free day and I strayed of my routine of cleaning on Saturday but I've started playing Guild Wars 2 since yesterday so I hope I can get myself to do those things lol. Lately, because of the no school, my neighbor's girl and her friend come over to my place all the time to play and pet my cats and I want to be there since they're not the most gentle and my cats are still very scared of new people, situations and things or loud noises (read: Kids ) But it sometimes messes up my plans. I did manage to get them to move some of the gravel. They decided the pile would be their "tree-hut" and they wanted it bigger, so I told them they could move all the gravel in the yard onto the pile as long as it stayed on the root cloth. I gave them little containers and even though it's not much what they moved it's still useful. hahaha.

Congrats! I just kept telling him "Never trust" to get the avatar. Maybe King Hagan is too trusty towards others?

My guess is it's a bit of both. Because of cheaters taken down for maintenance so they could change the code so abusing the game wouldn't be possible. Then that turned out to be a lot of work, more than they had time for. And it got put on hold and is now on the list of "we might get to them some day, maybe".

Too funny. My friend actually wanted the stamp and picked the Charming negg each time he could but even today he never got the stamp so he ended up buying it. He kept getting the comb (5x) and the background (4x). I was lucky enough to get the stamp the first day so I didn't need to pick the Charming negg anymore. Did pick it if I only got 2 neggs with no items of my interest and that one. Hoping to get another stamp for my friend but unfortunately I never did again after that first day.

Nope, I still need them as well. It's been broken for years and we have no clue if they will fix it or if they will, when that will happen.

That commercial just made my day! Thanks @jellysundae

I believe Lutari's are inspired by beavers or otters and are very much aquatic in real life. ^ beaver v otter

OH, the real live version is totally adorable too! If I ever get a "fish tank" I'm getting one of those XD! I love this artwork! Lutari lovers are having a great day!

The current batch has aloe vera in it instead of limonell. I'm not sure if they'll be sensible enough to just leave out fragrance. At least aloe vera is good for the skin too. Being allergic to rapeseed must be horrible! Luckily I'm only allergic to spring trees like birch. Once it gets to July my allergies are way milder or even completely gone. Worst time for me is (depending on the weather) March/April to mid June. @ those pictures though! That is hilarious!

Sure, that's why I said if I would start coughing I'd stay at home. But at the moment, except for the headache which is really local above my right eye, all the symptoms go away when I take my anti histamine or when I'm in the shower. Even in the car, with filtered air, there aren't any symptoms. I'm taking more anti histamine pills now than I normally do just to make sure I'm not mixing it up with COVID symptoms while at the same time I'm trying not to go overkill in anti histamine so my body can still react when there is a problem, since anti histamine basically shuts down your immune system telling your body everything is fine. I really am trying to be as careful as I can be, not just dismissing it. I keep "checking" myself. If at one point the anti histamine wouldn't open up my nose I would go straight home or stay at home! I'm not taking any risk or being one of those ppl that say "it's just a flu". I have hay fever since I was about 16 or so (always thought it was a cold until I got tested a few years ago). Anti histamine sure has been my spring friend since about 8 years ago or so

LOL @Mouseykins You would think if he enjoyed it that much he'd come running back for more. Not run away from it! I went to work as usual but because of my hay fever my nose is really annoying and giving me sinus headaches. I suspected some of the products we use at work to keep everything save made my headache worse because of the scent they added to it (They make it themselves with alcohol, wax and a scent, to disinfect your hands). So last Friday I went to my manager asking who made it and explained my situation/suspicion. We now have a different scent in them so at least they listen. I'll have to wait until the old one is all used up and then see if my suspicion was right or not. I still think they shouldn't add any scents if that's all they do, some ppl (we have a big company so they don't know everyone) might be allergic to artificial scents. I even have friends that are allergic to them. Anyway, today my manager asked me how my head felt and I told him I bought a nasal spray this weekend and that seems to free up my nose and helps a little with the headache. I've only used it since Saturday afternoon so it needs some time before my sinuses are opened up since it's just salty water (I get a nose bleed from most other kinds, so not much options for me). So he tells me if it gives me a runny nose I should stay at home. On one hand I wouldn't mind staying at home just for the allergies, having some extra days at home would be nice, but on the other hand I just know he'll take away free days or demand to work overtime later in the year without being payed to compensate. He won't say they'd do that but I know how this company operates. I told him last week I have a lot of free days left (we get 20 days a year and if you didn't spend them all you get to take most of them to the next year). I wanted to have them paid out but that's not an option right now because work is a lot less right now due to the pandemic. I don't want to use them just to sit at home not being able to do anything I like anyway. So now I'll have to hide from my manager for a few minutes after using the spray I guess. If I'd feel sick in any other way or would start coughing I'd stay home right away, he wouldn't have to tell me. I wouldn't want to risk infecting people, but when I know it's just my hay fever I'm not planning to stay at home in exchange for my saved up free days. I live alone and the only people I see are the ones at work

I spotted a Cheetah! Cheetah's are my number 1 as well, it's not like I picked the nickname Duma for no reason (Unless dragons count, if they do they're sharing the first spot as I wouldn't know who to place first ), and number 2 goes to jaguars. But I love all felines. And I like animals in general, I'll even save the worms when working in the yard.

All the kitties! So much adorableness

Welcome back, depending on how long you've been gone, there might be a lot of new stuff to enjoy too!

That just reminded me of a show and I can't quite place it atm. "Me! Me! Pick me!"

*Lurks in the shadows awaiting a good moment to reset the count* Oh, snap, I posted without realizing it didn't I? I need to be more patient

Welcome to the forums! I'm glad you found the courage to make an account and post! I too hope this pandemic will be under control soon enough. I just want things to go back to, at least semi, normal. I want my routines back, just like most people I suppose. Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy neopets and this forum and will feel a little less trapped.

It's not unusual. It happens and it's not a glitch either: So be careful what pet to pick when playing Count von Roo if you don't want to lose your avatar again!
-
Yeah, even though I love the cheetah avatar I wanted to change it to the avatar I've been using everywhere. Funny enough I've never played Guild Wars (I should, I really think I would like it, I even have the DVD for Campaign one with the female necromancer on the front, found it at a garage sale) but ever since I found the picture, years before I had the dvd, of the female necromancer i've been adoring it. I was just googling for pictures I liked when I came across it. Didn't even know the game Guild Wars until then.

You have a pretty good and strong team already! Nice! I still have a lot of leveling to do. My current team is Ryuu, Earth element Draik as Leader (51/75), Nuria, Fire element 13/40 (Damage All), Nabile, Water element 14/40 (Like in your team, my healer with Heal All), and Thogrin, Electric element (Damage All) 15/40. My second leader is a level 34/40 earth element Ixi (Heal All) Although I'm regretting buying it. I also have Hannah, electric element 15/15 (Target enemy damage) I really am leveling too many at a time, I already have 2 fire cards up to 3 out of 4 stars to ascend Nuria once she's max leveled and two earth cards 3 out of 4 stars to upgrade my Ixi. I think I better start focusing on maxing out my current main team and maybe go one at a time so I don't lose track of what I'm doing lol. I might decide to buy some legendary tokens to replace Nabile and Thogrin with 5 star cards. Unfortunately there's no healer in them so Nabile will probably have to stay anyway. Hmz. Changed my mind. I'll buy them once I'm creating my single element teams since there's no healer and only two Damage All cards (One of which is Nuria, already in my possession). Target Enemy damage cards are better against the monster anyway since there is only one enemy. I don't bother with keeping a maxed common hero, I'll pick which ever is in my deck. There's always a common one, and if not just by playing an easy level I'll have one soon enough. I'll make sure the common hero stays with the same element type in my team and place it as the last card in my party, so furthest on the right when forming your party. My other characters are strong enough to make up for it, the enemies will attack your party from left to right (they will attack the element weakest to their element first but if there's two characters of the same element, the one on the left is picked on first, hence placing the low level one on the right). That way your common hero will only be picked on when your strong one is defeated. Plus you can always play the easy levels. For the self healing challenges I probably should keep one in my deck so I wouldn't have to rely on the helpers (That's what I do now). If there's no self-heal helper I'll just either check again later or refresh the challenge and hope for something better. This depends on the situation. If you already know what element your enemies will be, like with the Monster but also the already played levels, you could form a team that is strong against them. That is mainly why I will build a full team in each element, to battle the monster. A team of only water against the fire monster, a team of only electric against the water monster etc. It will take a lot of time to form 4 strong teams and I already messed up buying my second leader (I hadn't really though of a strategy yet at the time and made a second earth leader) For the normal levels it's harder as you will always have multiple elements. But still, if you know 3 out of 6 enemies are earth and 3 are water, you could adjust your team to have 2 electric characters, 2 fire characters and pick a fire or electric helper from friends or other players (Or if you still need a healer, pick a healer helper). That does mean you'll need to have some decent characters for each element and a lot of switching the team around though. If your team is strong enough already that even your water elements can defeat the electric enemies it doesn't matter one bit for the levels and switching around might even be troublesome, it only matters to get higher up in the Monster Leader Board. If the levels are new/unknown I would go with a team with one of each element too, just to make sure I can handle it no matter what I encounter.
