It's just been sooo long I can hardly even remember....almost 12 hours now...
 
Ok, kidding...my SDB is largely junk that I have no good reason to keep. I basically pile up stuff in my inventory and then quickstock it all into my SDB. I only take stuff out if I'm going to use it or sell it, otherwise pretty much everything I get around the site just sits in there. I have old advent calendar prizes, daily dare prizes, lots of jelly, underwater fishing "prizes", yeah, everything.
 
Maybe eventually I'll do a big discard or 1 NP item sale at my shop, but I don't know, it can just be in there, it doesn't bother me - I'm pretty good at just ignoring 90% of it and getting to my codestones/restocking stuff/valuables

When I was little I imagined it was like a balloon, and that the inside was actually just flavored air that you "ate"... not sure what I was thinking! Now I too imagine a very thin membrane that you can bite through but that holds its shape once you do, allowing you to suck out all the yummy sugar goo and then eat the chewy/gummy outside. Mmm, now I want one.

I had my Habi up when the transition began and I am too sad to close it! There aren't any stones being generated but they just look so happy there working.

I have soo much homework and two exams to study for. This timing is a blessing in disguise!!

Oh my gosh, that's crazy that BOTH prizes were so valuable!! I'd be torn between using the maraquan and selling it... eep. I'd probably just hang onto them for a while because I'm so indecisive!!

I'm excited too for some reason. The downtime will be a good reason to stay off my computer for a couple of days and catch up on some projects that I've started and never finished. This week the weather is supposed to be nice so more time outside with the kids before we get winter. Before habi goes down I want to take a couple of screenshots to remember my little Mootix p3s. :)
 
Now that we know when the downtime is coming everyone can relax and stop worrying about it. :)

Update: The site is now down.

The transition to Jumpstart will begin tomorrow, September 17th. The downtime is not expected to start until late in the morning.

Reminders:
The site is expected to be down for two or three days. During this time, you will see the Down for Maintenance Pteri or a notice that Neopets does not exist at all. Rest assured that your account data is safe and will return once the transition is complete. For NC or Premium users, any lost time or items affected will be compensated in some way after the site returns. More information will be posted when it is available. Habitarium and Petpet Park will not be a part of the site anymore. Key Quest may be down for around a week after the site is back online. To follow Neopets through their transition to Jumpstart, visit their Facebook or Twitter accounts.

Nooo, today is our last day D; I was afraid of an update on the transition! I'll see what to do with my Habi tonight...maybe start a party for them or just put them all in their houses so they can die in their sleep. :sad02: RIP little guys.
