When I started back up playing Neopets in March of this year VTPS was at 1100, now it's at 1300+ So I guess if you have the money to spend it's a wise investment, as months from now it will easily gain you 200k, I do remember a friend saying he spent 10,000,000 NPs when the stocks were 500 each and he made over 10m from that.

TnT has always been forgiving on this subject, they realize people who do it by accident as it will only be once, but the people in an attempt to gain NPs will do every daily on more than one account, which IS against the rules. Mistakes happen, and even if anything did happen it's an easy ticket and I'm sure they would understand human error, as let's face it the TnT staff is full of that ;)

The altador plot doesn't really give anything besides an avatar worth mentioning. I just thought I'd point that out. On a side note from start to finish I did the whole plot in 2 hours, but then again this account I'm using now is the 4th time I've done it.

Haha named pretty much covered the other stuff I didn't go into XDDDD

 

In 2 posts we covered almost every single thing besides.

 

5. Participation in site events, AC, wars, puzzle plots. The rewards at the end are massively rewarding, and even with a good battle pet or weapons you can usually get prizes worth 400k+

I started playing neopets when I was 10 Years old! I have never really left, just drifted back and fourth, I was frozen a couple of times to things not even my fault, "Like people changing codestone prices in their shop for 10x what they are actually worth after setting them really low. And TnT choice froze both of us... :/

 

But in any case, welcome back and welcome to the forum, if you need any tips on getting back into the game to enjoy everything about it i can point to you some fun things to do, just send me a message on Neo or here :)

Congratulations on your first million!

 

I am in the works of a in-depth money making guide as you can flash game all you want but there are really easy ways to make tons of money that people don't realize, but my main ways are.

 

1. Dailies (Although this is obvious) The main ones to make money are, (Forgotten Shore, (Pirate PB, Draik Egg) Anchor Management (Same Pirate Stuff) Fruit machine (Random Paint Brush) Coltzan's Shrine, (1 million neopoints, King's Lens) Scratchcard Booths (Jackpot scratchcards, including the one from Haunted Fairgrounds is worth millions.) Grave Danger (You can get a mootix from what I've seen, worth quite a bit and other stuff) Aboard the Coincidence (Can get any r99 petpetpet) Test your strength, (Halloween PB and many prizes if you hit high up there)  Coconut shy, (Hitting a coconut off can net the prize coconuts that range from 200k+) Battledome, (Even with a low level pet you can kill my favorite target "Pant Devil" and get like 5+ codestones a day sometimes, most of which are red ones;; if i didn't keep them and sold them, it's easily the best income, I make like 30-50k~ a day average.)

 

2. Stock market; buy a 15NP a share stock from http://www.neopets.com/stockmarket.phtml?type=list&bargain=true

basically you get 1,000 shares a day, and once you get 100,000+ stocks you can sell stocks to get more, as some of them will be 45NPs+ a share, so you sell one of those and buy more 15NP stocks, it starts to pay for itself, and the more stocks you have the more income you make.

 

3. Restocking; This is literally the hardest one, but you can make millions of NPs a day (I would know, trust me, I'm a very experienced restocker if I put my mind to it, I'm still living on the NPs and items I restocked LAST YEAR, to which I am down to my last 30 items or so, all worth over 200k.

 

4. Reselling; people do it all the time, "buy items low, sell high", it really works, especially for ETS, all you do is look for people making auctions for stuff like, "Pbs, codestones, nerkmids, etc etc" stuff you know sells for a lot, but you offer a lot less, so for example, offer on a paint brush thats worth 150k, but offer 100k, sometimes people will do it and you can make an easy 50k, if they decline, neomail them up and ask them the lowest they will go. Reselling is a very up front and requires you to do research on an item, NEVER buy HTS or Hard to sell items or it will be very hard to sell, and you will not really make quick profit like you want.

 

5. Investing; Investing in rare items that will become retired someday, like usukicon, event items, etc etc. The profit is really slow, but if you tuck it away into items that just gather value you eventually will come ahead, (it's like stock market, but more risky because items can deflate even if they become more rare or retired.

 

 

This is really all I do, but there is many many more, and I will get very in-depth in a guide I'm creating in the future

When neofriends was up it was a huge thing that was keeping the community connected and keeping players on the edge of leaving to stay, much like it is with other games for me, if the game becomes (I only come on to talk to my friends) I will end up quitting eventually, but with the neofriend section being completely useless now, it got rid of all the people who were staying for their friends.

 

It's actually quite depressing, I'm slowly seeing less of the people I saw every day on the RS & Chat boards, and more new people. I feel that eventually there will only be people talking when they are trying to sell something, and no interaction and then it will just die down.

 

I really don't see how Jumpstart doesn't see that neopets was always a neofriend oreiented part of the game, you customize your pet and to get those items you have to interact with friends, if we stress that fixing the neofriend section of the site might boost their sales for the NC MALL, MAY be the only way to get them to SADLY. x.x

I don't have anything over 100, which is my sell point, I sold all my NATN when they were at 101.

 

I wish my old account greenblink722 didn't get permanantly silenced, because when i cashed out all my stocks I had 35k of NATN stock, because it was always the 15 cent stocks :U Oh well x.x

I have too many items that having a skeith for makes me REALLY nervous in having, like Leaded Elemental Vial, it's already a hassle to not accidentally USE it to equip it to your pet, but say you got didn't realize and read it wrong or thought you did an option to where you fed it to your skeith too, that's just asking to be crying for days (it took me several years of restocking to get enough to buy LEV)

 

In any case I wouldn't have one, I'd only get one for the avatar XD

I used to do Lava Ghoul to get 5~ or so Codestones a day, but when I was silenced on my old main my new account still does not have him, I've tried around, I did do Ghost Lupe, but i keep getting no Codestones consistently, so I did Pant Devil on Max difficulty and I get 5 codestones again. I've done it for a week and the lowest I've got was 3.

I got All-Star on the 26th, I played a little bit more than All-Star to make sure that I got an All-Star trophy because there has been a Rank 19 bug before for some people (Showing Rank 19 on Lookup, but when you click into the AC trophy it says All-Star)

 

The only way to not go insane through this thing is to watch movies and listen to music, I literally finished 5 different hour long shows while doing AC.. XDD

She definitely is no easy battledome opponent, thank you for helping out.

 

Without 250 Strength Boost or Higher, Muffins no longer cut it, because you need a (Thick Smoke Bomb, Jade Elixir) Basically, you have to beat her in 3-5 turns of battling without dying, which means you can only use 6 muffins total, If you have two constant 13+ icon weapons you can beat her in 5 turns, (3 of them she will be frozen "with level 200" or 2 of the 5 "without level 200" That means you have to tank 2-3 rounds with her.

 

My strategy would be,

 

Strategy with a 100% Freezer + Level 200;

 

* Note: Muffins are only Viable with One Non-Single Use Weapon or 300 Boost.

 

Turn 1: Two 13+ Icon Weapons + Lens Flare

Turn 2: One 13+ Icon Weapon + Thick Smoke Bomb + Icicle

 

* Note: At this point if she has not used her Jade Scorchstone, you are in good shape!

 

Turn 3: Two 13+ Icon Weapons + Warlock's Rage

Turn 4: One 13+ Icon Weapon + Your 100% Freezer

 

* Note: After Turn 4, on the 5-6th Turn you have to hope she does not use Jade Scorchstone as it's random when she uses it.

 

Turn 5: Two 13+ Icon Weapon + Burrow (She should be defeated if you are the correct Strength Boost) but if not..

Turn 6: One 13+ Icon Weapon + Jade Elixir + Icicle

 

I will not go past Turn 6, as if you can make it even further past that you don't really need a guide.. XD

 

Strategy without a 100% Freezer + Level 200;

 

Turn 1: One 13+ Icon Weapon + Icicle + Your Freezer (Like Randomly Firing Freeze Ray)

 

* Note: If this round does not freeze, admit defeat, UNLESS she used her Jade Scorchstone OR you are 250+ strength & 300 hp, otherwise will not beat her.

 

Turn 2: Two 13+ Icon Weapons + Lens Flare

Turn 3: Two 13+ Icon Weapons + Warlock's Rage

Turn 4: One 13+ Icon Weapon + Thick Smoke Bomb

 

Note: Her max hit is somewhere in the mid hundreds, with 200 Defense, my pet was hit for 153!

 

Turn 5 Variation 1 with 200 HP: Two 13+ Icon Weapons + Icicle (You are tanking a full hit, DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE 200 HP)

Turn 5 Variation 2 without 200 HP: Two 13+ Icon Weapons + Burrow

Turn 6: If you still have burrow, use with your Jade Elixir and a weapon, if you do not have burrow, use shade or icicle, either way if she isn't dead by this turn, you probably will not win.

 

For this last one, I recommend having at least Level 100, without burrow, you will have to tank 2 FULL hits.

 

* Note: 100% after this point is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, unless you don't mind losing.

 

Strategy with Level 100 + 100% Freezer;

 

Turn 1: Two 13+ Icon Weapons (If she used her Jade Scorchstone, thats good, you want her to do this early, and not later)

Turn 2: Two 13+ Icon Weapons + Lens Flare

Turn 3: One 13+ Icon Weapons + 100% Freezer + Icicle

Turn 4: One 13+ Icon Weapon + Jade Elixir + Icicle

Turn 5: One 13+ Icon Weapon + Thick Smoke Bomb + Icicle

Turn 6: Two 13+ Icon Weapons + Burrow

 

I will not go past that, really if you don't have 15+ Icon weapons, realistically you can't beat her without 200 Strength, 100+ Level.

 

Recommended Weapons;

Altador Cup Throwing Star/Bow of Destiny/Wand of Reality/Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy/Stone Foam Finger/Anagram Swords

Ghostkerbomb (To push out a little more damage later in the fight, or during one of the freeze rounds)

Jade Elixir (100% Heal)

Thick Smoke Bomb (Blocks all Icons of Damage)

 

Faerie Abilities;

Icicle: (Level 25, does 6 icons)

Lens Flare (Level 50, freezes an opponent for that round making them unable to use weapons)

Burrow (Level 100, Blocks 3 Random Icons)

Warlock's Rage (Level 200, freezes an opponent for that round making them unable to use weapons)

As a collector and investor in items that can only go up, SFF can only go up.

 

The last items that were even close to the rediculous amount of constant icons 15 (the heck?) was the Maraqua war prizes (Runed Maractite Bow, Trusty Hand Cannon)

 

Those were like 4m~ start price and did 14-18 icons I believe. for 2M SFF can only go up as TnT only comes out with a good plot prize every 2-3 years it seems or even longer.

 

Plus since it's pretty much retired, it will continue to rise, even if it gets outclassed. But since it LOOKS cool, and it's functionality is pretty good, it will NEVER decrease. Trust me.
