  1. I've been following the IDNQ guide and maps.  They've been down for about a few days now.  I don't know what to do!  I was following strangefire420's guide for skills.  I was able to track down a partial list of his recommended skills order, but not quite the full list.  I was wondering if anyone has a copy for levels 45-50.  I'm sure I can muddle my way through the last little bit, but I followed his suggestions for my first two run throughs and it worked like a charm.  Luckily there are plenty of maps on other sites and I found another walkthrough guide that I think will be adequate.

And on another note, if anyone is stuck in the same boat as me I can give you a copy of his skill list for most of the levels 4-44.

  2. I liked NQ2 better than NQ1.

That being said, I'm currently playing NQ1 on insane difficulty and I'm on level 31 now, so I'm feeling the grind.  I finished NQ2 on all three levels already.  I started in January and have been playing intermittently since then, though over the last week I've been playing quite a bit every day.  I think when I get out of the Temple of Roo I'll take a break for a bit again.  I've followed strangefire420's guide each time and so far so good.  If you play NQ1 on increasing difficulties, remember that there's one boss at the end on the easy game and 2 bosses on medium and 3 bosses on insane.  So save yourself some healing potions.

  3. I just got another double bonus this morning, so I feel like something is definitely up.  I'm training at the Secret Ninja School with 3 red codestones, so saving an extra 80k and 8 hours is nice.  It took me way longer than it should have to find out that endurance can be trained to 3x the level instead of just 2x so it's going pretty quick now since I don't have to train level anymore for quite some time.

  4. Has anyone else noticed that getting extra stat bonuses has increased at the training schools since the Faerie Festival stuff started?  I've has three times it went up 2 levels instead of one level recently.  That almost never happens.  It might be wishful thinking, but maybe there's battling coming up in the plot so they upped the training bonuses to help people train faster.  Any thoughts?

  5. I'm hoping for some battling.  My trained pet just reached 900 stats and 1000 hit points.  I've been training fairly steadily since the obelisk war when I couldn't beat anyone on hard.  I hope the red codestones don't skyrocket though.  Yeah, pretty much anything that involves the battledome would make me happy :)

  6. This is my first year actually successful at Yooyu ball (and I'm currently not working) so this might be my one chance to make All-Star :)  I just got to Rank 3 so I'm done for the day.  Good luck my fellow Faerielandians!!!

@singittome: How did you put the Altador counter as you signature?  I found the page to create one, but I can't get it to work as a signature.

  7. According to the rank levels from last year you'd need 42 Slushie Slinger games to rank up to level 1 or 21 Yooyu ball wins to rank up.  You'd need to pretty much rank up one rank per day to get to All-Star in time.

Slushie Slinger takes about 5 minutes per game.  It looks like it would take about 3.5 hours of playing to rank up per day on Slushie Slinger (5 minutes) while it would take just over 1.5 hours of play (figuring 4 minutes per play start to finish) to do the same with Yooyu ball.

Another thing to take into account is that its 21 Yooyu ball games difference between Participant and Rank 1 while its 63 Yooyu ball games difference between Rank 19 and 20 so that would take 5.5 hours to rank up that day on Yooyu ball (or 10.5 hours on Slushie Slinger).

All that being said, don't let this discourage you, just have an idea of what you'd need to do starting on Day 1 to get there.  I made it to Rank 4 just playing Slushie Slinger before and I've never been super dedicated about the AC.

My trick:  Start Slushie Slinger in one tab and Shootout in another.  Hit start on Slushie and then tab over and play 3 games of Shootout.  Tab back and clear all the tables back to front.  While waiting to collect the last of the cups on the bottom row, tab over and play 2 more games of Shootout.  Then alternate between clearing Slushie top to bottom and 1 game of Shootout.  I usually get 6-9 games of Shootout in during one game of Slushie which is great because that means each game of Slushie + Shootout essentially counts as a Yooyu ball game (thus cutting your numbers needed in half).  I know I'm not the only one who does this but there might be some newbies here.  Also, on Slushie don't worry about the color, it's quicker to just fill from the end of the row.   EDIT:  DON'T DO THIS, IT'S APPARENTLY CHEATING!

    Good luck!

  8. So I can't believe I've only just figured this out, but all this time I've been playing yooyu ball using just the arrows instead of a mouse.  I managed to get 2 goals on my first game and 4 goals on my second with the mouse.  I've never gotten more than one before!

So I wondering if there's anything you high-scorers can tell me that I might not already know.  Such as....is it possible to end the game early while you're ahead?....are there power ups I should avoid?....

I figured out that a left click throws the ball but sometimes I drop the ball when I'm not expecting to!?!  what's this about?

Also, I need help with good technique for the angle to go for when shooting for the score.

Any and all pointers/tips are greatly appreciated.
