This could take some practice - but I have a score of 360 so I should be able to get there - and the pircrust tip could prove very useful.

 

EDIT: First try 460...with any luck this should be doabale...I just need to not run out of time and to get the freaking custards before they hit me!

 

EDIT 2: That was SO much easier than I thought - did it third try! Thank you for the tips - piecrust was a life saver!

The Indiana Jones clothing is really cute - I'm not sure about the pink one - I'd avoid that with my life!

It does state in the rules that if you beat Abi but didn't challenge her and didn't manage to beat AAA you get her prize - it doesn't say anything about what trophy you'll be going for though.

 

The public computer idea is a good one though.

Because that's how Abigail's prizes usually are. Her prizes are usually toys, books, and junk (like the broken board), while AAA's are usually wearables or Neohome furniture. And there are very few wearable plushies. :/

 

 

Here's hoping tomorrow's plushie is an AAA prize. It's a rather cute plushie.

 

 

But I don't even use the wearables - as soon as I have the packrat avie they'll go straight into my shop - whereas I collect the plushies...annoyance!

 

EDIT: And this is more difficult than I thought it would be - I keep winning at 23,000

 

EDIT 2: After hours of trying NOT to win the game I have finally got it - 26,600 - I am NEVER playing that again!!!

Should be an easy enough one - just rather boring! And why are all the plushies on Abigail...not happy! I'm challenging AAA but it's the second time I'll have to buy Abi's prize.

Owie Spritzie - hopefully you'll manage to get it again as that was really foul luck!

Are there any sites or pages which give lists of items relating to certain figures in Neopia - for example Jhudora, Dr Sloth, Vira, Balthazar - basically the evil guys. It's just I think I've got a fair few by just repeatably refreshing for hours on SW but I don't don't know if I've got them all and that's what I want my side's gallery to be based on.

I literally just came across this and was about to ask on this forum - I'm glad someone else asked first! I went to add an avatar and it told me I had only one 1 avatar...I only just did the one click update a couple of days ago as well.

 

EDIT: And yep, my neoavatar counter is now at 1.

You can always offer in neopoints, but you know that they want neopoints in particular when they state it in the wishlist...

Lol, I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who has spent an excessive amount of time on this. I think I'm on month 5 now! Although I didn't play it for a month because I got so fed up with it!!!

 

By the way - that's 5 months up to the end of act 3!

Thank God that it was such a nice one for a double dare - kind of makes up for my steadily growing Abigail score! The guides were particularly helpful after Lv 20!

I'm going to give it a shot using that walkthrough...but my highest score is 19k...looks like daily dare has started to really push us! If I don't get near enough in practice then it's going to be another Abigail!

 

EDIT: Abigail it is as I will never get the hang of that technique!

How long did it take you to complete neoquest 2? I'm curious because I have spent SOOOO long on this game and am only on act 3...just wondering if anyone else has this or if I am just spectacularly slow!

Lol, that's actually quite funny - I don't know why they've nabbed the ideas, but they must have been impressed with the idea to have nabbed it.

I've been on neopets for a fair while now, and I'd probably agree with the majority/ I won't complain that neopets has gone massively downhill because it hasn't - it's still a fun and interesting game site. I enjoy the new plushies, books and stamps that they come out with as well as the games. I do my best at collecting said items above! I enjoy looking at the clothing but I have not really got into the customization side of neopets.

 

Daily Dare and GMC - I've thoroughly enjoyed both of these contests, although the GMC was more appealing because you could win more than one prize and really had to work for some of those scores! Daily Dare I enjoy, but nowhere near the same extent.

 

NC - I can see why they have to have it, it is an extra profit boost in a declining economy. However, I believe they are pushing it too far and it often feels to those of us who will not spend our hard earned cash on pixels that we are being left out of much of the site. What with it's incorporation into GMC, DD and the most recent plot as well as other minor niggles, it does seem a bit unfair. Although, again I guess we can't really start to complain unless they include Faerie quests where you have to get NC items - now that would really hack me off.

 

Plots - The last plot was the first one I had ever played so I can't really comment on declining plots, although I've heard alot of people do so.

 

Battledome - Really unless they release a war plot their isn't much point in it. Defenders of neopia and a couple of avatars are the only point for the battledome atm. And just for that it is ridiculously expensive to train your pets to any decent level and with high defence and everything else.

 

There are pluses and minuses, but there always will be in such a large site. The only way to deal with it is to find the areas you enjoy and use them whilst avoiding those that annoy you!

Did you check both your pets or just your active one? As the Light Faerie can bless either of them...

I did go through a phase of going through the time thing, but it didn't seem to work any better than me just clicking at a random time and not paying all too much attention to it. There might be a certain amount of truth to it, but it's never worked for me.

I thought it was only considered cheating if you put and left an item on the F5 key as then you are not doing it yourself...

Lol, I wish I had read this before challenging Abigail, as from the sounds of it I could easily have beaten AAA...drat. Well at least AAA's prize wasn't fantastic either.
