Hi @GillyTook, so you're still using this same set as before? I would say that Illusens Staff might not be AS useful for you as it would for a pet with higher HP. But it could still save you under the right circumstances, especially if you participate in the upcoming battle-plot that TNT is planning. Since some opponents will probably be at your strength level or higher. Illusens Staff can also be obtained from completing the last of the 50 Illusen Glade quests. But this way is probably much cheaper to obtain it. Damage-wise, it's 13 earth icons and about 0.5-6 physical icons. So a maximum damage of 19 icons. Your Sword of Malum is stronger than this. However, it also blocks all dark. Also, if you receive both light AND dark icons at the same time. If I recall correctly, it should reflect 75% of the dark damage. You will still take light and 25% of the dark damage though. Lastly, and probably it's most useful ability. If your pet falls below 20% of it's max health in battle, it will heal your pet by 20% of max health. This can keep you in the battle much longer than otherwise. So, if your HP falls below 27 HP, it will heal you 27.8 HP. Which is 20% of your ixi's current max health. This is a multi-use weapon. I've never had one before, so I can't say I know exactly how it works. But I think it should heal you each time your HP gets below 20%. That being said, I joined Illusen's team to get it myself. For power I would've preferred Wand of the Dark Faerie, but Illusen's staff isn't bad at all. In fact it cuts Wand of the Dark Faerie's attack down quite a lot from what I've read about both weapons. On a side note, if you get it and don't like it, you can always sell it. Current pricing on the TP is around 200-225 million NP. Overall, it's got more attack icons than Hanso Charisma Charm, which also blocks 100% dark, it also can reflect sometimes, and it can heal you. So it's definitely a weapon you'd want to consider hanging on to. I hope that helps.

This is older. Either way, with Illusen's Staff being part of the prize pool in the charity corner, would it be worth getting for single player battledome fights to replace any of my current gear? It's the same as it was last time I posted. I tend to stick to fights I can win in a single round (or try to) because my pet is not very highly trained, if that matters at all, though I've never really tested to see quite how far she can go.

1: I see good and bad. They started this to reduce clutter that was slowing the site down, right? The limit makes it fairer (sort of) to newbies, BUT the point system makes it unfair. Instead of being able to donate 30 items of any quality and get good things, you've either got to spend a ton of NP, hope you had good stuff already, or just settle for so-so prizes. I've been grabbing stuff that was worth more points in older events, but I'm already out of the stuff that was worth the maximum amount of points because I had zero idea how it'd work because they change the point system each year. Do I buy a ton of things you can technically get for free every day at 10K each and hope to get some of that cash back, or do I go for the next tier down and hope that I can get enough NP to get enough good prizes to make up for what I've spent? 2: I like that they have a set of new things (petpet and the necklaces are, right?) AND a lot of old prizes. I've been around for 20 years (wow, I feel old, lol) but wasn't active for a lot of it, so I've missed a lot of things like stamp giveaways or events (noooo!) It's really nice that they are releasing some of the old stuff because there is no way I'll ever (especially with price gougers, especially since I've seen some theories a lot of those are using bots to grab items to inflate the prices of) be able to afford half the stuff I want-gourmet food, books, stamps, etc. Would probably be better if they were doing it through things like the daily question, though. 3: I also had no idea stuff like food club bets were controversial. I don't see any problem with permanent events on the site giving better rewards as an account ages. Gives you something to stick around for. For limited time events, I think it's a lot less fair. Hey, I'm new! Oh, this event looks. . . oh, I'll just have to hope I can buy the prizes sometime in future when my account is older/I've got more np/I've just given up and become a price gouger so I can afford anything. Cool. 4: I picked Illusen because I'm a goodie-two-shoes who likes light side stuff There are a couple things on Jhudora's side that I'd like to get, but eh. Either way it'll be fine I'm sure? I just always get a ton of anxiety over choices because I am always afraid I'll find out I've made the wrong one.

WOW! The FF has been very nice to me this year! Just received another Dip in the Rainbow Pool for the third time this year. The first time was via a Faerie Quest Fortune Cookie and the other two via the Faerie Festival this year with in days of each other! Finally got my Chocolate Wocky! I am loving this! I am hoping I get another one to finally paint my Gnorbu.

I was, yes. I searched for the current year and the combination with the faerie festival, yet somehow got the old page. Oh well. Only 600,000 np and an hour wasted. Could have been worse. **is still incredibly disappointed with herself**
