Yep. You read that right. See, I went on hiatus from Neopets for roughly 1 1/2-2 years, and in that time I closed an email that I never used. Well, it turns out that email was connected to my TDN Forum account, for which I couldn't remember the username. So now there are two. Sorry.. Getting older does not seem to equal getting smarter. Or less anxious..

Well, I've maxed YYB for the day for Maraqua and all I can say is the game has gone from a tedium to a complete exercise in masochism!! My 'steal' works about 1 in 5 or even 1 in 10 times. The opponents works every single time. The player switching is just as annoying as it was last year, but is made worse by the lack of stealing as I now have to chase the darn ball and I CANNOT DO THAT WHEN YOU KEEP SWITCHING PLAYERS ON ME!! The robot ball exploding no longer removes 8 seconds from the games timer. The Goal cut scene often freezes for several seconds before allowing me to skip ahead. Any player can now collect the power up things that pop up. Often just as I've scored making them completely bleeding useless. Why oh why can't it be active player only as before? And the new power up is a complete flop, slowing everyone down and making the game drag to unbelievable proportions. My goalie seems to defy the laws of physics and balls go straight through him... and balls can get 'stuck' in the goal meaning you just have to let the timer run down. And to add insult to injury, I'm averaging two Darigan balls a game, plus a Faerie. Now I know that's luck of the draw but COME ON! Like this isn't enough of an absolute nightmare as it is!!! Oh and it wants me in full screen to start, so I'm constantly expanding and minimising the damn game. Some us have to keep at least half an eye on work emails at the same time! Onwards and upwards. MSN time it is!

I can touch the thing. However I can't steal and the opponent can which is mega annoying and completely removes my opening play gambit from use. It also means that when the opponent gets the ball I have no chance of getting it back in honesty because I have to hit the steal button like six times by which point they have moved on!!! The timer isn't losing eight seconds per goal so the games go on forever. The Gooooal cut scene often freezes for an extra second or so as well, which isn't mitigated by the removal of time from the clock. The Darigan ball is acting more like the mutant ball. Yes I get it in more often, but it's completely unpredictable!! I'm at 20 games and already ready to tear my hair out!!! EDIT: I stand corrected - the time is now going as soon as I score rather than after the cut scene. Maybe it's been doing that the whole time and the game just feels like it drags!

I can't even touch the Yooyu so I can score !!

Things are better for me today. Yesterday I played with the zoom and at up to 75% zoom the YYB play button was responsive; but the lag during the game was so monumentally appalling that it was unplayable. Today though... dun dun DUNNNNN Things are a gazillion times better! Had to go down to 67% zoom to get some life out of the button, but gameplay is "normal". No lag. Did appallingly badly, but then it took me a while to get into my stride last year too. The game clock isn't working properly. Seems to be cutting game time down by an abitrary amount; been between 4 and 0 seconds for me! Opportunity for a LOT more goals then. @Aquamentis12gonna aim for 25?? I'm assuming that'll be fixed, but who knows? I wonder if the coders are working today, they clearly were yesterday.

I'm hoping it will be like Skylanders on Netflix: made for kids but still sane enough for adults who enjoy the franchise to watch without it being too childish. They really have a great marketing chance to have their adult player base enjoy a program with their children and get them to grow up with the website just like their parents did. Even if the show doesn't appeal to the adult market, I still take this as a huge sign that NetDragon fully believes in the Neopets IP and is willing to make moves that Nickelodeon were always against - from a mobile friendly website to a television show. That's pretty huge and should quiet down some of the people who think they don't care about the website/just going to let it die.
